You shouldn't be told that you are going to share your tee time with complete strangers, especially if you make a tee time 2 days in advance, and have no choice in the decision. Long drive from out of town for nothing!!

I got a chance to play this course twice this Fall while on vacations, and it's an enjoyable, very walkable classic New England 9 hole golf course. Go if you're in the neighborhood. Makes me think it's almost too bad we don't live near Northfield. The 4th green has just one or two bunkers and a few undulations. The 5th hole is easy to hit. Aim for the pink house and don't hit the tree. There's plenty of grass, Just Don't Hit The Tree. They have friendly staff who can tell you about the history of the Northfield Inn, and there is a good selection on tap in the clubhouse- try the Lefty's.

Northfield is a beautiful and picturesque course. It has its challenges on various holes, but overall, it is forgiving to moderate beginners. It's also pleasantly affordable, as opposed to most area courses.

This is a local gem. The reviewer who left a 1 star review because he had to “share his t-time with complete strangers” is all that is wrong with today’s social media. Part of the experience of golf is sharing the course with others of varying abilities. If you want to play alone then book and pay for a foursome and have at it. This is a well kept picturesque course that is a pleasure to play for golfers of all levels of ability and I’m offended for the owners that they would have to address such a ridiculous negative review.

Is going for us is phenomenal for all levels. Got the perfect combination of holes and is a perfect course to walk. NO WATER ON THE GOLF COURSE !!!!!! There is a water fountain but there are no water coolers with ice cold water and that is my only Bugaboo with this golf course otherwise I would have given them five or 20 Stars if I could give them. You can definitely buy water in the clubhouse however this is the first golf course I've been to that did not have fresh regular tap water and coolers that you could get every three to four holes or so and that resonated with me. I specifically chose not to buy a water because I assumed it would be water coolers out there and those courses do not have them are the courses provide them for you because you're paying $115 for around. What does net the places so well-maintained it is probably my favorite golf course this year in my local area and I love the staff the entire atmosphere is great the greenest course there is around here for local courses that is the greens were impeccable as well. All around I will get by stars just make sure you bring water or buy one at the clubhouse but I personally do not buy Dasani
