Big drop off in conditions for the 2018 season, typically 4-5 stars. Usually by June the greens are in decent shape, but this year they remain inconsistent and long. Never seen it before, but there are some seriously compromised fairways as well, see hole 7. A bit disappointing for such a great course layout and serene setting. Hoping for a mid-season turnaround.

Not sure what Brad was talking about ^^^. I would drive 2 hours to play here any day of the week, twice on Sundays. Wide open course with very plush fairways and tee boxes. You can tell it is extremely well kept. $45 with a kart was very reasonable.

Such a fun and interesting layout that just seems to struggle with drainage issues (but only in the spring or after heavy rains). With that said, the holes are really interesting and unique while the greens are a pleasure to play on (they roll very true). You have to play it at least once just to check out the signature holes that they have and the changes in elevation which make for some really picturesque approach shots.

A fun course and a great layout. There's a good mix of holes – 13 is a fun risk/reward hole while 9 & 18 will challenge you to hit two good shots, especially from the back two sets of tees (and even more so if you don't hit the fairways). A couple dogleg par fives will reward an aggressive tee shot with a chance to reach in two. The greens are big, but they're fair even when the speeds are up. And 6 beers in an ice bag for $24 at the turn? How can you beat that?

I’ve played this course 3 times this summer and have enjoyed it every time. They have a good mix of hole layouts, which can challenge all skill levels. I found the fairways and greens to be in great shape, there was only 1 hole that had some tree debris. To me the course seems very well maintained. Also, you can’t beat $30 to walk 18 holes during the week. Overall this is a great course to play.

I think this course is beautiful. Well maintained. Played 18 today and things got very slow on the back 9, but the views and conditions were worth the wait.

Awesome course in great condition. Definitely one of the nicest in central Ma in the Worcester area. Worth the extra few bucks. Staff is friendly and carts in new condition. Don’t waste your money on a sub or course when you can have the best.

One of the nicest courses in central Mass, the fairways are always plush and you have a nice mix of fair and tough holes. Hole 8 is a short par 3 followed by a long par 4 which is a beast. You can go from birdie or par to bogey or more very quickly. So you're always on your toes. The food may be sub-par but I don't seek out nice courses for the food.

One of the most beautiful courses in Massachusetts. Big greens, great layout. Weekends are slow as expected if you can even manage to get a tee time.. One of the few courses that are worth the price.

Excellent layout, good landing areas and penalizing rough. $20 per person to ride a cart is excessive, but the senior rate to walk ($30) is a good deal. In my opinion, walk the course if you can.

Had a small outing yesterday and the people, course, food and service was awesome. The new carts with a USB port is a nice touch. Will definitely return to this gem.

Had our league outing at Kettle Brook last Friday. The staff was very helpful as we had to re-schedule twice. Course was a little wet after heavy rains earlier in the week but overall was in great shape. We ended up with perfect weather and had a great time! Always enjoy playing this course, it's a great layout and fun to play.

Kettlebrook is one of the top public courses in Central Massachusetts and especially in the Worcester, MA area. The drive into the country is worth it to experience 18 holes of large greens, wide fairways, scenic grounds, solid layout and always great conditions. I rank Kettlebrook up there with Blackstone National, Wachusett and Highfields of Grafton. Great course, hidden gem 6 Handicap

Place is always in great shape and I love the course itself the design is awesome it's challenging but not impossible. I was surprised at how well the conditions were for being early season and with the amount of rain we have had. One of the best bang-for-the-buck in my opinion as they are reasonably priced. Their sister course wachusett cc in w Boylston is even par with this one in my opinion.

$52 for 18 and a cart was alright. I drove 2 hours to play here. Its a farm turned into a golf course. There is no flat fairways and hardly and visibility. Its a swamp. Most of the course was off limits to carts. Bring a donkey to carry your bags and chest waders to hit out of the fairways. No driving range and the food was hot dogs and beer with a few candy bars and water. No beverage carts. 6 hours for 18 holes.
