This course is below average for the area. And overpriced for the condition that I've played there on multiple occasions. There are seldom any greens that you can even see from the fairway either well above your head, or well below. Because of this you are rarely hitting from a flat part of ground, the ball is either on a hill going down, or up. For the price of $65 I would go anywhere else and expect a LOT better conditions.

Great course if you play fox and heron. Wouldn't play hawk again. People who work there couldn't be nicer. All in all a great place to play. One exception being the hawk 9 holes, unless you like playing up and down hills.

It's not a walkable course. I'd say about more than half is up or down hill, a handful of blind pin shots. Nice driving range.

This is one of the most scenic and best kept courses in the area. Coming here for years-it's OUTSTANDING-plenty of parking, great people. Twenty-seven wonderful holes. Really great!

This is a very fun course. I usually play on Sundays and the pace of play is good. The course is always in good shape. Very friendly staff in three pro shop and the lounge. I highly recommend it it's one of my favorite course on the North Shore of Boston

Come here about once a week in the summer to play during the twilight hours. Course is in great shape and have been playing here since I was a kid. One of my all-time favorite courses to play and have never had anything bad to say about my experience until my last. As the sun had just set, my friends and I were were finishing up hole 9, playing ready golf, when a ranger pulled up (after following us the entire hole) and had the audacity to ask, "How bad are you guys?" As a 21 year old man and paying customer, I was disgusted. I kept my mouth shut and finished up my last 2 shots quickly. As I began to drive back and put my clubs in my car (which was 10 feet away from where I was supposed to return the cart) the same ranger continued to treat us like children. He yelled at us saying we had to return the cart first as if I wasn't allowed to drive the cart to my car to drop my stuff off (which again, was right next to it). I understand it was late, and he wanted to go home, but if you don't have the patience, you've got the wrong job my friend. He went on to threaten to ban me from the course that I've grown up playing on after I returned the cart right after I dropped my clubs off (which took a grand total of 10 seconds). Yes, I understand I'm young, but I pay the same amount as any older gentleman or lady there and know for a fact I would not be spoken to in such a demeaning way if I was older. As a regular at this course, I am appalled by the way in which I was treated and do not know if I will return.

A challenge. 27 holes, hills, few penalty traps, lots of thick woods (bring a dozen ), good greens... some difficult ...rolling at 10 or 11. Makes you think. Cart paths are somewhat bumpy from frost heaves and roots. In a word...natural.

Ok place. The lay out is bizarre. Rest room practically hidden. No longer have a grill at the turn. No food until 11am. Staff is ok. Takes them a bit in pro shop. Just average.

I was here the first Saturday of the season. The very soggy conditions along with some areas of ice and snow are not the fault of the course. But due to those conditions they had some temporary greens and tees. I didn't see anything posted nor did anyone tell us about these. So on #2, for example we're hitting a blind second shot, about 160 yds to what would have been the actual green only to find out a temp green was in play about 30 yds short.

Its a nice looking course with 27 holes Fairways and green are in great condition and we'll taken care of. The staff is extremely friendly. There is also a driving range there. The lines are brutal sometimes, even if you call ahead it's always backed up. * Update * gave this place a other shot last year ... Will never golf here again!! It was so backed up that it took me 8 1/2 hours to finish golf!!! ridiculous!!

Course was in great shape... the rough is too penal though so highly recommend it be cut down a bit so you don't lose gold balls in it... other than that I would play there again

There are 27 holes. They added nine holes some years ago. Those holes are average at best. Mostly you just go up and down the hills. The original 18 holes are tougher than they appear to be. Conditions are good, given the large amount of play. I make sure to play here a couple times (at least) every year.

If you want the slowest weekend round of golf possible go to far corner. They clearly overbook and it shows. Got to the 5th hole and there were 4 4-somes waiting to tee off, after that we just decided to call it a day. Asked people in the parking lot how long their round took and some were up to 7 hours. Needless to say my group of golfers won't be going back, we would rather pay the extra 10 dollars to play at a regular pace.

Great course with 27 holes. The greens were in perfect shape. They can get busy, especially when they have a tournament. My last time out (a Saturday), it seemed like they had a lot of high handicappers and it slowed down the round. It took us over 5.5 hours to complete 18. But, it was the first nice Saturday of the year. I've played there over a dozen times and wouldn't think twice about playing there again soon. For reference, I play 1X/week and rotate amongst 6 courses in the North Shore area.

Some kid worker followed me into every green and waited of to the side to re do the pin placement. Very frustrating. Great course, but he ruined the round for me.

This is a very very hilly course made up of 3 different 9 hole courses. The course is fairly priced but it's not a top tier course. If you're looking to swing the club and play a casual round, this place is great. Their weekend deal after 3PM is great too. If you prefer to pay more for a nicer course, I would suggest looking somewhere else.
