This was my third or fourth time playing Dennis Pines and I've always enjoyed the course. It is challenging, but fair and has a few hours with some risk/reward factor. The greens are usually in great shape although this last time I played there they had recently been aerated and we a little bumpy.

Actually 4.5 stars. Carts need to be upgraded to Electric. Beautiful course. Very nice staff.

Played last October for the first time in ages. Course was great, will return often. To the earlier comment regarding staff, we were treated very nicely though our slow group (we put them out last btw) did report ranger attention - It's commendable that a course actually manages play rather than letting rounds lag out to 5+ hrs.

Course conditions were great. Nice layout and not overly penalizing for errant shots. The starters were personable and helpful. Greens were receptive with subtle breaks and quick enough to keep your attention.The course was not too crowded . Check with the pro shop to see if they have leagues going out around your time. Unfortunately, we stuck behind a foursome of ladies that would not let my twosome play through. Would definitely play it again

Ranger told us to pick up the pace because they had "multiple call ins" but we were playing right along the whole day and actually had to wait for others on multiple holes. After the round the same ranger seemed mad that we didn't know where the cart return was. Hopefully it's just that ranger that's an A-hole and not everyone that works there.
