Golf course is very nice and in excellent shape. 5 star worthy, my rating is low due to the restaurant experience. Ok food but service was extremely slow, orders incorrect, orders missing - one in our party got his food in a box when we were leaving. Of course the checks were also messed up. If you are hungry after a round of golf - go somewhere else

The course itself is in pretty good shape. I played there on a hot Sunday afternoon with a 12:00 tee time. The check in went well but it was all down hill after that. The starter was frazzled and when we drove to the first tee box there were three other foursomes in front of ours waiting to tee off. I should have turned around and asked for my money back right then! The entire time we were on the course I never saw a martial checking on the pace of play, and it was painfully, painfully slow!! As the day drug on there was no refreshment cart to be seen. No where in sight all day! The water coolers were empty on 2/3 of the holes that had them and there were absolutely no water cups to be found. The yardage markers at the tee boxes were missing on many of the 18 holes. The 4X4 posts were there but the signs were not. The cart paths are deplorable and like driving on the surface of the moon. it's much better to drive on the grass. When making the turn to the back 9 we stopped to get a quick hot dog and a coke. We found a packed bar with patrons watching football games and pounding beers. I have no issue with that but we were in a hurry and there were no provisions to get a quick meal. not even a snack! We were told it would be at least a half hour getting food. We had already spent nearly 3 hours playing 9 crowded holes and we did not want to lose our place on the course. There was no phone on the course to call in an order and no menu either with a phone number. So we trudged on bumping along a horrible cart path at a snails pace, following behind three other foursomes who seemingly had the same tee time we had, thirsty with no water on the course and no refreshment cart in sight. Six hours later we finished our 18 holes, exhausted, hungry and sore from the bumpy ride and 50 bucks poorer!. Never again! Golfer beware. Save your money and drive to another course that appreciates your business and actually has a plan to make your day enjoyable. This course management could care less. There is nothing enjoyable about Richland Golf Course

Very nice course with some very challenging holes. The course is a lot easier one you've played it once or twice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that the bunkers could use some work. Excellent value for the price.

my new favorite morning course. staff very helpful with getting me in and out as I normally play by as a single. course is in great shape.be ready for challenging round from 1st hole to the 18th hole.the 9th hole is my favorite make a par or birdie on this one you deserve a drink at the turn.highly recommended and priced great.

Food OK. Our waitress was wonderful! Beautiful setting on outside patio with the band. Love hanging out on the patio. Been coming here for a while and the only thing I really like on the menu is pizza. My biggest gripe is the Ladies room. Good grief, spend some money and put the toilet dispenser on the wall and paint it! Very simple and not expensive to do. Toilet paper sitting on a trash can, that is overflowing, is ridiculous. Oh and put some decent locks on the bathroom doors too!!

Great place to play golf. In the clubhouse, Alex, as well as Joe, are great! I have yet to have a bad experience, except for my play, of course. LOL! Otherwise, for the playability, course maintenance and green fees, it is exceptional. This is my new favorite course.

The food here is awful. Its all microwable some of the food we got was cold. The service is bad here. The waitress was making comments on how much we should tip her. I dont suggest going here if your looking for a real meal.

Recently our family had a wedding ceremony and reception at Richland Golf Club. It was a wonderful experience. Jenny Freeze (event coordinator) did an outstanding job! Every detail was done to the bride and grooms liking. Jenny and her staff were hard working, professional and efficient. The food was fabulous! I recommend the Chicken Chesapeake. Yummy! I would highly recommend Richland Golf Club to anyone wanting a classy and well organized event!

I am hesitant to even post a 5 start review as I want this place to stay exactly the way it is. An excellent layout kept in fabulous shape that you can play in a reasonable time. I’m not sure how they can keep this course in such great shape given their low greens fees but I’ll take it. Loudoun county golf courses need to figure out how they do it! Keep it up Richland and I’ll keep driving 45min to play.

Had the opportunity to play here yesterday. Tee to green, very good (especially considering the heat). Had the opportunity to chat with the Golf Course Superintendent; which pushed this review from a 3 Star-4! Management wise, and service-wise, from the Pro shop end, some improvements could be made when it comes to pricing on Aeration Days, and monitoring consistency when it comes to Tee times. Will definitely return.

This review is for the Vistas at Richland Golf Club. I just had my wedding there last September 7 and let me tell you how perfect it was. We would not have pulled off such a detailed oriented and DIY wedding without the help of Miss Jenny (Venue coordinator) and her entire staff. Miss Jenny is super sweet, nice, and very accommodating. Despite her busy schedule (and vacation days), she made sure she responded to all my phone calls and emails. The food was fantastic (special thanks to the chef and her cooks- highly recommend the steak). Miss Jenny also provided a lot of things we needed like cake stands, cake cutting silverware, sand buckets for the sparklers, platters for the desserts, all the linen/napkin colors I wanted, and opening doors for us for decorating). The venue is beautiful and classy yet not extremely expensive. I highly recommend this place and I know you'll love working with Miss Jenny and her staff. I would definitely have another event there if I had all the extra money to throw a birthday party, or shower..etc.

This is a wonderful golf course tucked away near Frederick, MD. Today was my first time playing this course and it was a great place (aside from the distance from my home). I would recommend this course to anyone that's in the area and was pleasantly surprised. I would have given this 5 stars, but rated it 4 for the following reasons: Heavy rain the day before resulted in several mud-filled bunkers, It's a little pricey ($65 on weekends), and This is NOT an easy course! If you are a beginner or a very casual golfer, this course is quite difficult. I've been out 4 times this year so far and I shot my worst round here by over 10 strokes. Very narrow fairways and loads of bunkers make this course challenging. If you cannot stay straight off the tee - find another place to go until you can get that down. I lost more balls in 18 holes here than I have in four rounds combined at other courses!
