Disappointing round yesterday afternoon for our entire foursome. 1st the started told us the greens are fast. We all said thanks for the update. Listed below state our findings: tee boxes pretty dry (better than 50%) a lot of fairways have burnt out (33-40%) sand traps not raked and plenty of small stones in them (25-35%) the greater majority of greens are very slow (75+%) All items listed above managed to make it a very forgettable round.. This group might not go back to this course this year.

Once every 10 years it is an interesting play. Usually in pretty good shape and holes depicting famous holes are a different take on the usual golf round. Not a course for regular play to me.

Course was not in great shape. “Bunkers” were hard as rock - the ones that didn’t have 5” of water in them. Carts were AWFUL. Saving grace was pleasant staff. Save your money and go somewhere else.

My friends and I drove almost an hour from Montgomery County to play this course on Aug 2, 2015 and we were very disappointed. I haven't played it for 5 years or more. Maintenance was terrible with many brown and bare patches. Weeds have developed on some greens. Greens were chewed up with spike marks and unrepaired pitch marks. The greens were terribly slow. Not worth what is being charged. It was poor value for what they charge for a weekend round. Even the county courses in Montgomery County are better maintained. I'll never come back!!

5 hour round of golf , broken GPS in cart 11, and ranger whom we saw 1x and did absolutely nothing.. 16 of 18 holes had 3 foursomes playing/waiting! NO excuse. This is a sign of poor management at a course that used to be my favorite in the area. Will not return, especially at $84 per person. Very sad situation.

The first time I played there was yesterday. In spite of the heat (over 90) it is a beautiful course, perfectly manicured greens and fairways. I loved that we were playing the courses that the pros play and all of the info that went with it on each hole. A great gift to anyone who golfs.

After reading some reviews, I was a bit skeptical. I was given 2 free rounds as a gift, and I was first scared to read that someone was denied because their pass was invalid 6 months after issue. Luckily, mine were fine, but that seems like bad business. My complaint was about pace of play...not in the usual sense. I shot a 114 and my dad (visiting from out of state) shot a 125. Needless to say, we take longer than usual. However, we finished in 4.5 hours, which, frankly is one of the faster rounds I've had in recent history. Despite this, by the 5th hole, we were approached by a course ranger who, with a seriously stern face, said, "You guys have to pick up the pace. You're already behind by 6 minutes!" SIX MINUTES!? Oh, and this on a Wednesday morning! They have GPS devices on the carts, and I'm pretty sure that they use them to check pace of play. This is supposed to be a unique course, and they have plaques with history of each hole at the tee boxes. We didn't even have to read them, nor time to enjoy the round. Fairways were great. Tee boxes and greens were mediocre. (Tee boxes were flat but spotty. Greens were mowed well, but are over-aerated, so the ball bounces around like Plinko on slower puts.) I won't be going back. Shooting a 114 is stressful enough without being reprimanded.

Played on July 10 at 8:40. Greens were quick and true. Fairways and rough showed a bit of dry weather fatigue but werr very playable. Senior rate was $39. Why not 5 stars? Five hours is unacceptable. We waited on every hole as did the group in front of us. Course should enforce guicker play.

Great lay out and although not long, a challenging track from the tips. The day we played their computer systems were down and I was unable to book on their website. When I arrived the proshop would not honor their own website rates and my partner and I were charged over 90 bucks for 18. The guy behind the counter explained that "algorithms" drove the on line rates and there was nothing he could do. What algorithms had to do with their website being inoperational was never explained. The course had taken a lot of recent rain, but not enough to justify the condition of the greens. No true rolls were available around any of the cups and there was crabgrass growing through several of the putting surfaces. In addition, there was no marshall to be seen anywhere on one of the hottest days of the year - and we waited on EVERY tee box. Suffice it say that by the end of the day we were just praying to get off the course. Yet, we weren't the only ones praying. By the 15th hole we could hear the very loud, amplified sounds of a religious service. Arriving on the 18th hole we realized that an outdoor wedding for over 100 guests was occurring about 30 yards off of the 18th green- at 5 o'clock on a Saturday afternoon in the middle of a golf course. Golf is not a priority for the folks running this course and customer service is sketchy at best. Plenty of superior high dollar tracks available in the DC area. I recommend giving this one a pass.

Played here on March 28th. The staff is great. Very friendly. The course is not in peak condition, but, then again, it is March one week after a snowstorm. Greens were aerated a few weeks ago and the greens are still a bit rough. All in all, no real complaints about the course given the time of year. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and plan to play here again this summer.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Playing from the whites tees, I can’t even imagine the difficulty from the black tees. Lost several balls so my goal next time will be to loose fewer. I parred two of the difficult par 3’s , the replication of #12 at Augusta and the replication if the island hole at Sawgrass. But , when I got to #17 I made up for it. How does one stop the ball on the crown of that 180 degree dome. I stopped counting at 6. Love the course and will be back soon.

Awesome course. Middle of nowhere. It's quiet and beautiful. The replica holes are such a joy. We played here Masters weekend cause there's no chance we ever play Augusta lol. Couple employees were in Masters Caddy outfits. It was an awesome way to spend the day. Conditions were great.

Paid over $90 to play. Tee boxes were bare and greens recovering from aeration. Pace of play was not maintained but rather Marshall stated, "there's nothing I can do" placing blame on the course being overbooked.

Management, staff are awful. Least thoughtful people I have ever dealt with at a golf course. Twice now, my father bought me a gift certificate for 4 people for my birthday. Its a chore when your in your 30's to get all of your friends together to drive out to davidsonville. Anyhow, 200 dollar gift certificates have gone to waste and a long drive out to this place due the thing expiring less than 6 months after my father purchased it. I didn't bother to open the envelope until I got there. If I was any less of a gentleman I would have taking it out in the parking lot with the manager. Thanks for robbing my father and wasting a day for me and my friends. It is safe to say that we will never be back and I will be alerting all other friends and family to do the same. Thieves.

Love all the 'tribute' holes. Augusta ones are awesome. Staff is friendly and attentive. Food is excellent. Plenty of specials, and family events here. If you live anywhere close, this course is worth a round or two.the clubhouse is very nice. Pro shop is stocked with all that you need. Brunch is one of the best around

Course was a in decent when I played (late April). Some of the greens and tee boxes, you could tell had yet to grow back in. While the staff was overall friendly they were a little too diligent about maintaining pace of play. My group was playing slow but there is a line between regulating pace and getting in the way of your patrons' experience.

Fun course to play. It reproduces holes from famous courses in the US and UK. Some holes are a real challenge. Overall course in average condition. All the rain this year has taken a bit of a toll. Most greens in very good condition.

My brother and I took my Dad to Renditions as a gift for his 50th wedding anniversary. We are all experienced players and I play many courses in and around the Baltimore metro and nearby PA area. This summer Greystone, Fox Hollow, Wetlands, Piney Branch, Winters Run, etc. Renditions far and away the worst condition (and most expensive)! Absolutely horrific. The greens a total joke completely brown and burned out. Every course I’ve played this summer greens beautiful. Hell I played Pine Ridge today and Course in exquisite shape 47 dollars Renditions 86 lol. Looking forward to more upcoming rounds on great greens at Tanglewood, pilgrims Oak, links at Gettysburg, woodlands. Every summer top notch! Renditions Course total joke. Pretty sad because the historic holes would be much more fun if course was in any kind of shape. At least the beer cold, cart girl easy on the eyes with great personality and our 71 year old Dad almost holes it out on sawgrass island green made a nice 6 footer for birdie. Really really really bad course. Come on get with it Renditions!

Don't waste your money. They charge $80 plus 10% and the course is no good. Burned out greens on most holes, huge divots throughout. If you happen to go offline looking for your ball your cart will die on you and tell you to go back to the cart path but you can't cause the cart won't go..... starter said the greens were fast... they were super slow, probably cause the grass was dead. only good thing was the 13th hole if you pay $10 and your ball stays on the green you get a free shirt. I drove an hour and a half with excitement just to be miserably let down. I could've paid half the price and played at least 3 courses in 100% better condition than this one.

We were here for a wedding reception and the club house is very nice with a reasonable sized banquet room just off the main bar area and pro shop. The classic feel with dark wood paneling and a nice big bar. Worth checking out if you are looking for a reception space.

The other reviews fail to mention the amazing Happy Hour at the restaurant. Davidsonville has a hidden gem in this friendly local pub with amazing staff, delicious food, and bargain drink prices. The tasty taco/nacho bar is a plus. If you're looking for a relaxing place to become a new "regular," look no farther.

Very disappointed after having played here many times before. I called for my tee time from Michigan for a date certain and was told that there was a special for seniors and that my rate would be $49. When I got to the course this morning I was charged $64.90. I asked about the senior rate and was told it ended on August 1 which is contrary to what the person in the pro shop told me when I booked it in mid July. The employee would not adjust my rate. I was first off the tee at 7 AM but ran into a gangsome of 16 on hole 10 which forced me to skip the hole. According to a player in the gangsome, the proshop screwed up their tee time and had to have them go off on 10 instead of 1. Finally, the fairways were not in good shape with lots of bare spots. Probably will not play here again on my next visit from Michigan as the biggest grievance was being told my rate would be $49 and then being charged $64.90. If their employee made a mistake in telling me back in July that the rate would be $49 then Renditions should have owned up to the mistake and honored the $49 price. Very poor business practice.

The condition of this course is in horrendous shape for the price paid ($79) for an 11:20pm tee time. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens are diseased , weeds everywhere, and dead patches everywhere. They spend more money on the staff to sell food, run the shop, and wipe your clubs. Their excuse for the course condition is that it has been overplayed. If that's true, then spend some of the high green fees on staff to tend to the course conditions.

FOLLOW UP Review: Once again tried playing this course, terrible pace of play. At least a ranger/marshall was on the course however he is getting paid to sit in the shade and smoke his cigarette. Groups nearly a hole behind and no action is taken. Originally scheduled to tee off at 720AM, got off at 750AM due to a booking error. Did not finish until 115PM. I'll pay good money elsewhere for a 4.5 hour round of golf. ORIGINAL POSTING: Extremely slow pace of play. On Fridays/Saturdays I typically play here average around 4:30-4:45 hrs. Today took 5:30 hours. Was told that a group early in the AM took 5:30 hrs to play. Unacceptable. A ranger/marshall was on the course but obviously not early enough to enforce pace of play. Golfers beware. Nice, easy course, good conditions otherwise.

I am a member of CLGA Womans Golf Association. We play many courses in the area, Renditions has always gone out of their way to accommodate us. When I call to make a tee-time they remember my name and address me as if we are good friends. The course has always been in good condition and when we had a dry spell they would discount the cost. I feel very fortunate to have such a nice course near me.

Golfnow hot deal. Greens in good shape. Rolled slower then I had expected, but that's only cause I figured they might roll as fast as tour greens. Obviously an incredible layout. Well stocked clubhouse. Only problem was that round went long cause I was stuck with double bogey golfers. But that's how hot deals work. All in all great experience. Look forward to coming back.

Great little restaurant at Renditions Golf Course. Lovely outside seating also. A little secret tucked away in a beautiful setting. The cook is fantastic! The food is delicious. Always fresh and cooked to perfection. The staff is so helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this place.

We go there for a very large group holiday party every year. Very nice facility with good parking. Located conveniently between Annapolis and eastern DC suburbs. The food is always delicious, and service is efficiently provided by pleasant staff.
