Complaints: They were 2 plates short on our dinner, so the entire dinner we had 2 guests not eating, and then shortly after everyone finished our dinners, those 2 guests were given their meals. Their meals were a lot bigger than everyone else, but should have been on time. Needless to say the entire table was furious. During our first look we had people coming around the back of the building and seeing us before the wedding... so much for a first look when they cannot coral the guests. People began to eat our cupcakes before we had cut the cake and had some for ourselves. May not be Piney Branch's responsibility, but the coordinator should have been top of this, if not the other 2 people there. --------- We started planning this wedding back in April 2018 with Rachel as our coordinator, but unfortunately she sent us an email 3 weeks before our wedding saying her family got a new opportunity, and she could no longer coordinate our wedding. Piney Branch expressed that they were very sorry and that they had a new coordinator and others to take her place as she left, still leaving us slightly worried. Meghan did pretty well and gave us a great experience. We hate change, and to hear someone was replacing the coordinator we have been talking to the past year was very worrisome and stressful with only 3 weeks to go. They tried to make things go smoothly and give us the best day we imagined. They made sure me and my bride always had a drink in our hand, we were on schedule throughout the day. The food was terrific, we had the chicken and beef tenderloin, small portions of each, but way more than I could eat. The mashed potatoes and gravy were fantastic. We had a few guests who didn't tell us of dietary restrictions when accepting our invite, and they took care of them promptly. But, all said and done, it was a great experience. I'd get married here again, but the more I hear, the less true this statement is.

We had an amazing experience at Piney Branch. We met Rachel towards the beginning of our wedding planning process as the venue changed coordinators and initially we were a little nervous but we can't say enough nice thing about her! The attention to detail from beginning to end was impeccable. Rachel was great throughout the planning process answering all of our questions and making sure every detail was taken care of. But the day of Rachel really outdid herself and helped everything flow like clockwork. We are so thankful that we had her there throughout the process to really make our dreams come true. A million thank yous to you Rachel :) We had the best day!!

My wife and I are really enjoying our membership at Piney Branch. The course is always in great shape, and the staff is very friendly. The club social events are a lot of fun and offer a great chance to meet new people. The food has been excellent as well. They offer memberships that are affordable for a young couple looking to join their first golf and social club. Truly the hidden gem of Carroll County.

The on-course amenities are fantastic, nice bathrooms, tee boxes, greens, etc. Staff was very friendly. The clubhouse and locker rooms are extremely well maintained and welcoming. The pro shop isn't huge but has some nice items for purchase.

This is a private golf course, but if you get the chance to play it do net let it pass you by. The membership rates are also very reasonable compared to other clubs in the Baltimore area, and they have many different types membership plans with good rates. This golf course is one of the most challenging and best maintained in the area, with in my opinion, one of the best layouts in Maryland, if not THE best.

I recently attended a Bat Mitzvah here And I felt incredibly sorry for the family hosting this lavish affair. The food was terrible and poor quality, some even moldy. My neighbor was supposed to receive her vegan meal and never got it. The venue was dirty and needed to be cleaned prior to the event that was soon to begin. Golfers were playing rounds of golf on the course during the Bat Mitzvah. The hostess was beside herself and embarrassed. I wouldn’t recommend this venue to anyone. You’ll get better service and fresher food at McDonald’s
