Wow, what a hidden gem of a course. I live only 30 minutes from it, but this is my first time playing it. This course requires you to play to some specific spots, although there are definitely holes you can grip it and rip it. Right now, in mid-April, the Bermuda fairways are just changing color, but the greens are in superb condition and it is a really fun course to play. With 5 tee boxes, you can easily find one that suits your game. The course wraps through a housing development, and there are large McMansions near many greens and tee boxes. You can't walk this course as the distances between greens and tees are long distances. Otherwise, enjoy your round. I'll definitely be back.

We played on Aug 11 with a best ball tournament. The course layout is very interesting and very well thought out. This made it a very pleasurable and enjoyable round of golf. The course is very well maintained from tee through green! A challenging course even though we played from the front green tees. All of the course staff are very professional and courteous. Oak Creek is a well maintained and challenging course and I look forward to play another round here soon. This course deserves all 5 stars!!!

I played Oak Creek in the middle of August 2018 and it was in pretty good shape. Apparently they had some issues with losing some fairways from what I heard, but it seemed to be back and in pretty good shape. It would be even better if golfers would take time to fix their marks on the greens. The layout is fun and has a nice mix of holes. Lots of wildlife on the course as I saw at least a dozen deer and a fox. Made for a scenic drive in the cart as some of the holes had huge distances between them.

Extremely fair course. The patrons aren't pretentious, and the homes don't infringe on your round. There are two distinct identities on the front & back nine's which makes for a challenging yet enjoyable day playing golf.

This place is an amazing location. Just 20 minutes away and able to enjoy golf with less driving & amazing people to meet and play a game of golf. I recommend this place to all of my business partners and friends. Even the range is a good spot minus no shade location but good challenging landing spots for someone who need to improve their game.

Beautiful gated community. Very lovely with tennis court,golf course and great country club. Love this. Community ,activities for kids and adults ,swimming pools ,walking trails and indoor gym.very quite .Just what I needed to relax!!

Service was the absolute worst on the restaurant side. It took an hour and 25 minutes to get our food, and all I wanted was a cup of soup! Menu limited. ..drinks definitely watered down. ...don't do it!

The pro shop staff and bar staff are friendly and helpful and I like course layout allot. You Gotta play it a couple ti es to choose your lines. Even then you need to execute shots, not just got and find it. I don't like the shallow driving range (not supposed to hit anything longer than hybrid) and the greens were a bit crunchy but they were aerated and lightly dusted. I'm sure they will be smooth again soon. They got an extra star for the awesome staff or this would be a 3 star review.

The course looked very nice, but had some areas that needed to be grown in a little. Rumor has it this course went from private to public in the last year. you could tell the course was in pretty bad shape at one time. There were several places that had been repaired but the grass had not grown in yet. Check out the pictures to see how the conditions look. The course needs another year to fill in all the dead spots. The sand was in great shape, the greens were to great shape. The tee boxes were in great shape. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the repair of the fairway. It might be worth $70. I'll be back when it all grows in.

This is one of the best courses I have played in Maryland. The fairways are beautifully maintained and the greens are well kept. There was only one hole that had a green that was messed up. This course is designed for carts because several holes are far apart and you need to cross the roads in this gated community to access them. The course offers a driving range and a putting/chipping area. You are not allowed to use drivers on the range, I saw a sign that read irons and hybrids only. The putting green is also dangerously close to the range, so watch out for shanks!! It's best you pay for your round before you go to the range, it's a steep climb back up to the club house if you are walking. If you paid for a cart, it makes it much easier to go back to the club house if you need more range balls. Overall, it's a great course and I highly recommend it. So beautiful!! I can't wait to see what it looks like in the fall!!

The course was in pretty good shape considering the spring we had. The staff - except for the cart ladie & the young man who helped with our bags were rude.

Greens well maintained. Fairways and surrounding cart paths were littered with empty beer cans and trash. Called in food off of the menu at the 8th hole. Restaurant staff mentioned it would be 15 minutes. Food was not ready when we made the turn and a pro shop employee drove it out to us an hour and a half later after we called to check on our order. After the round we went into the restaurant to discuss with the manager, but the manager never came out during the 30 minutes we waited. I would not recommend this course and I will not play again. If you choose to waste your money, call in your food order when you're on the 2nd tee.

Visited this course in December. The fairways were 'golden' with a type of grass that had gone dormant. Slightly fluffy but not easy to take a deep divot. A great deal of money looks to have been invested. Landscaping and clubhouse look great. The food was very good. The staff was professional and friendly. Why the low rating? I wasn't familiar with the type of grass and there are some holes that require a long and out of the way cart ride to the next hole - like driving across streets, along major roadways, and through multiple motorized gates. Although it's well maintained and nicely landscaped, it feels more like a housing development amenity or creative use of drainage/flood plan than a true golfers golf course. I know many courses struggle to turn a profit, so this layout hopefully is sustainable albeit slightly less appealing to golf enthusiasts. With some small tweaks and continued investment, this course will probably get more recognition.

Course is always in bad shape. No one repairs the ball marks on the greens. Never any marshall on the course to keep pace of play going. Always 5 and a half hour round on weekends. The carts always run out of juice while playing. Can't hit woods on the driving range. The place is just a poorly run operation. Will never step foot at this ghetto ass course again! Ever!!!!
