This is a good place for working on the tools to better your overall golf game. It’s what I would call “the foundational & fundamentals course.” Do you want opulence and experience? Go to TPC Sawgrass. Do you want to enjoy a well priced round of golf that will also help you to work on the top for parts of the game? Then Mitchell’s golf complex is the way to play.

What a great place to enjoy a golf outing with the grandkids...we travel from Ellicott City with them because they would go nowhere else..love the variety of play and the different challenges of the 3 courses...thanks for providing a wonderful time whenever we go...and at a very reasonable price

Course greens are more brown than anything else, there were beer cans and bottles all over the place (certainly not family friendly) I was overcharged, rangers are all children who haven't got a clue what they are doing and the lady at the front desk is not at all informative and seems to be concerned more with her apparent drug habit than the treatment of guests. This place looks run down and not at all well kept I second the motion that it should be closed and torn down. DO NOT GO HERE

Been to the driving range twice now, and both times the owner has left early causing us to either move our cars out of the parking lot, or leave. Edit: The response from the owner says this happens after hours. We've been asked to leave at or before 7:30 both times. Their website says range hours are 7AM - 10PM, and google says they close at 8PM.

This place is terrible. The owner closes early at her leasure and they have not tended to there greens since I played here a year ago. Most of the greens are dead and have multiple indents and divots. Also the course closes if rain has fallen in the past 24hrs. Do not waste your money here.

Okay...not well maintained. Not very popular...maybe the season wasn't in full swing, but attendance was sparse. A refresh of the course is definitely required and it could become a great spot to visit

Staff is always friendly and professional. I go about 6 times a month to the driving range. Never had a complaint! Several different miniature golf courses to challenge any skill level. I've always had fun.

We drove 25 minutes to play and were told that the greens were closed for maintenance and they didn't know when they would open again. We suggested that they keep that kind of info on their website to which they replied that it was (it wasn't). Pretty bummed.

Been going to this course for years. My friend and I play here as much as we can. Great for iron practice. Staff is GREAT. Any reviews complaining about the staff is because that person was doing something against the rules which means the staff probably had to yell at them. Like parents who cant control kids or people acting dumb on the course. Overall great low key,cheap,friendly golf course.

I love playing here because it's cheap and challenging but for the love of god please do something about the greens. At this point I think you might be better off with mini-golf surfaces. Also the mini golf courses are really fun.

Yesterday, 7/16/17 Tom Mitchell passed away. I am greatly saddened by this news as he and his wife are very caring people and at least one of them have been there at the golf club every time I visit to play. I have been going to Mitchell's all of my life probably since I was 6 or so back in 1980. I'm now 43 and it truly is nice to see the original putt-putt course from when I was a kid mostly still there. It has always brought incredible memories for myself and my entire family ever since I was a kid. Please, please don't sell the place. It is such an area icon with true character and history. So, I want to thank Mr Tom Mitchell and his wife for making such a special place where I can relive my childhood memories. May God Bless Mr Mitchell and rest his soul.

It could stand a little sprucing up, but everything works the way it is supposed to. My favorite thing was that it wasn't very crowded. You could play without feel rushed.

The facilities are a little old and out dated but a nice community place for family fun. It is located near a nice sports complex.

Course was in really bad shape. Greens were.....brown, with spotty green grass at best. Goose grass weeds ALL over the greens. Putting was a joke, your ball wont go straight on any of the holes. the weeds direct it in all kinds of directions. It was laughable. The owner acknowledged that the course was in bad shape, so we got a discount rate. with 4 people, we each paid $12 w/cart. I thought that was a fair deal. Went after work, killed some time and had some laughs. Worked on some iron shots. Lets put it this way, I've spent $12 on a lot worse. Go in knowing you are going to play on the worst course you ever played on, and you will be just fine.

Good place to work on iron play; however, greens are horrible, weeds all over it. Talked to guy at front desk and owners are unhappy and working to fix it. Hoping improvements will be made because it is a good value.

As a amateur golfer and local, I appreciate the price, course and overall ease of playing a round of golf or hitting the range at Tom Mitchell's. I look forward to bringing my wife and son to play miniature golf also once he's old enough to play. Thanks for providing a great option to enjoy the game!

Interesting place. Pretty creative and fun miniature golf courses and 3 to choose from. They are incredibly run down though and I would say several years past needing repaired. The worst part I would say is after the sun goes down. So dimly lit that it is difficult to keep track of your ball and worse yet is the parking lot. Absolutely zero lighting out there. Like sketchy, pull out your phone to get back to your car kind of dark. This is really pretty unsafe. But go during the day and expect it to be run down and you will still have a good time

I used to go here when I was much younger...maybe 15 years ago. I loved the experience as a child. I thought it was amazing. I went back with my girl 2 weeks ago and mind you I haven't been in 15 years. Let's just say that this place hasn't changed one bit. It just looks old and worn down. They should tear it down and put a new one up.
