This is my new favorite course! Excellent layout, and in very good condition (save for a few bare spots on a couple greens). I love the electric carts (I hate gas carts that have a lag after hitting the accelerator). Excellent rate for junior golfers. I'm a 15 hdcp who sprays the ball around a bit, and this is a very forgiving course for me. My only criticism, and a minor one, would be that on the driving range, the yardage markers aren't lined up with the mats, so it's tough to find targets and to gauge distance.

Top 5 bang for buck course in Maryland! Course is in good shape. Mike T and Brady were great to work with, incredibly friendly, went extra mile. If I lived in Frederick this would be new home course. Good practice facilities, $18 twilight, beat that! Golfers, this IS the type of course and staff we want to support!

I play this golf course at least 2x a week for the past year. It is always in excellent shape. I am a member at Andrew's AFB and I still play here. The golf pro is always courteous and the ladies make my day each visit. I can honestly say the condition of the course is the best In the area. Hat's off to the maintenance staff.

I've been playing at glade for 25 plus years and this is the worst I've ever seen it. The staff was unprofessional dressed in t shorte and tank tops in the pro shop. Greens were hairy and unmaintained. You couldn't tell difference from fairways and rough. Trees were trimmed and limbs laid on the ground.im sorry to say I will never go back. Used to be a respectable place over the years.

This is pretty nice course, but they way overbook people. I arrived on time for tee off, and there was a 20 minute backup already. Once we tee'd off, we waited about 15 to 20 minutes on every hole to tee off again. I went with one other player, and they required us to join another 2some to play. They were pretty cool guys, but that's not what I paid for. Maybe if you can get in during the week or off hours you might be able to have no problems, but given how close they book tee off times, it would be really easy to get stuck behind. A 6 hour round of golf is unacceptable.

Great value. I've golfed here over 15 times in the last 12 months and enjoyed every round. The staff are fun and nice, the course and carts are well maintained, and the scenery is perfect for a nice day. GVGC is not a hard course but it is fun. I've played most courses in the area and this is my favorite. (Especially because I rarely spend more than $20 per round)

Greens are well maintained, later in the season the fairways had started to have problems with water pooling in some areas and ironically dry patches where the grass has died.

There are better places to play for more money. GV has some challenging holes that are worth a go. Greens and fairways are roughly worn even for a budget course.

The twilight green fee is exceptional value. The course is flat and pretty vanilla, but fun to play just the same. The staff is very courteous. First time on course was after a thunderstorm. I had booked round with credit card. I reminded staff to charge my card and the response was "don't worry about it. I hope that you enjoyed the round." Who needs to pay 4 times as much for a slightly better golf course?

Slow play. The people in front of us waited to tee off until the people in front of them was on the green and then teed off with irons. That would be ok if the got it it past the ladies tees but they didn't get it there most of the time.
