Played the course - well, the first 9 holes - on a Tuesday afternoon. Terrific course for a public facility - very nice location, fairways, tees, etc. It was in great shape. However... as others have said, the pace of play was interminable! Tee-off was delayed by 15 min due to players ahead. It literally took 3 hours and 15 min to play the FIRST 9 holes! The marshall came around and said he couldn't identify the slow players ahead, but that there were no gaps anywhere on the course. I spoke with the guys in the Pro Shop and they gave me a rain check for 9 holes, which was nice.

Good shape and new play policy. Able to finish in 4 Hours today. That's a record for a course with a reputation for 5-hour to 5.5 hours rounds.

played Monday, Aug 12. Good: beautiful course, lots of maintenance and trimming going on, nice layout and was great to walk. Really liked it, and at a reasonable cost. 5 stars for the course, it plays as long as I will ever want a course to play at 6700yards! Bad: took 4'45" to play weekday. 2 stars for it. Here's why.... I expect to play quicker Mon-Thurs, even on Fridays. I won't even try this course on a weekend if I am playing over 4'30" on a weekday. There is visibility regarding pace of play policy around the club house and on the score card for playing to 4'30" but nothing done to really make it happen. Someone was slowing up the course on Monday. What's the difference of an extra 15 minutes?.. you get stuck on the highway getting out if it's the afternoon. You also loose your golfing momentum. You get lazy yourself. You skip a beer after your round. Weekdays should be directed toward a 4 hour round. Please Mr Golf Course, even 4'30" on a weekday is slow, it really should be quicker. Golfers need reminders from time to time that they are dragging their feet. So longer than 4'30", not for me. Help us out. Printing times on a card are NOT ENOUGH TO GET GOLFERS GOING! A little courteous marshaling will help everyone. As I stated, the course is really beautiful, difficult to even lose a ball since it's so open. They have trimmed trees to a real landscaped eye, this is as nicely maintained a course as you rarely see, especially for the money. But take the chainsaw out to the fairways to chase the slow golfers. It's been years since I last was here, and that was a weekend that was so slow, I quite at 5+ hrs... never knew they even had 18 holes here. I may try one more weekday, earlier in the day perhaps, but I prefer courses who support their own pace of play program.

I hadn't played here in years. It's January and the place was groomed for play. They had smart temporary tea boxes. Keeping the regular tea boxes in good shape. The greens and Fairways or as to be expected for winter time but on the plus side. The entire experience was good and I look forward to coming back. AJ runs a tight ship

It's good for the price but my experience here was kinda hectic. I planned on playing with one other person but the course master assigned me to play with 3 other people. None of them rented a cart and I did so I had to constantly wait for them to walk. Nice enough course I just wish it was better organized

Well-maintained course with VERY Slow Pace. The course is pricey (for the area) in the Summer, but reasonable on the off-season. It's always in good shape, but there are too many walkers and not enough course rangers. If you can handle a 6-7hr Round, then this would be a good play for you. Their website actually says "Walkers welcome 7 days a week; Any time." And that includes walkers on Holidays! Their biggest pro & con is Enterprise's membership opportunities. The most attractive package is $850 for unlimited Twilight. Because 90% of their clientele are walkers, they keep coming! If it were to get dark at 5pm, a group of walkers will show up at 4pm knowing that they'll only play 3 or 4 holes. The players never stop coming! They always seem to be at capacity. The course is nice. The pace is awful. I would recommend, but there is no good time to go. The course is ALWAYS crowded.

Always in excellent condition. The grounds crew is top notch. For the money one of the best public courses in Maryland. Newly renovated clubhouse & facilities makes playing at Enterprise a really great experience. Staff throughout are friendly, very helpful and they keep things moving. Weekend play is better on Saturday but still have a lot of hackers that won't pickup, ending ten or more strokes to hold a ball. My biggest complaint is the amount of effort to hit a bucket of balls. Practice range is a good Distance from the clubhouse and if you don't have a tee time you can't use a cart. Sometimes people just want to use the practice range for the day.

This is one of my favorite courses. I played here on my Birthday. I believe some PG county tax money goes to maintain this course. Therefore this course is the best value for your money especially if you don't live in PG county. I think I paid about $55 for a Saturday morning round. There are other courses in the area that charge much more and you get so much less. It has a reputation of having a slow pace and being booked. You can overcome this problem by booking early and playing early. I called 6 days ahead of my desired tee time and got an 8:00 tee time for 2. There were maybe two or three groups ahead of us and we finished in a little over 4 hours. Since the next group behind us was 2 holes behind, we would stop and goof off by betting on chips and putts. The food at the turn is a little slow so call ahead or bring your own snack. That is why I give it a 4 out of 5 stars. Otherwise everything was perfect.

The maintenance of the course is excellent.... I've played about 6 - 7 courses in the area and this is by far the best maintained... nice open course with some challenges on a few holes because of the bends of the course. Greens are beautiful. Staff is nice. Pace of play on a packed Friday was about 5 hours... not too bad. I highly recommend this course, especially because it's a public course.

Top Rated by Golf Digest, Enterprise is a great course for new and experienced golfers alike. Challenging holes with lots of variety to test your skills. Course is in great shape. They have a cool, friendly staff, driving range, chipping green & snack bar complete with golf on tv. Good overall value. Book your tee time early.

My favorite course in the area. Always in great shape. The layout is a “golf course” and not an “obstacle course.” The staff is always pleasant and helpful. Oh, there are 2 greens to practice on. The one nearest the club house is for pulling. The other is HUGE and is used to practice practice chipping and putting green, I ONLY WISH there was a practice bunker. DEFINITELY A 5 Star FACILITY!!!

This is one of the best golf bargains in the area. The tee boxes, fairways and greens are always well kept. For $40, this place is an absolute gem. The staff is friendly. They only take tee times over the phone, which is a minus in my book, but for the price, I can live with the minor inconvenience of calling. If you haven't played here because you thought the price was indicative of the course quality, do yourself a favor and play a round here.

Good layout, below average condition, but my biggest complaint is that the 12th green is completely closed off so you're really playing 17 holes. It'd be fine if the pro shop made that clear and/or offered a discount but we weren't told about it until we headed to the first tee.

Very nice experience. The course was nice, the staff were courteous and not a complicated registration process. Just walked in and was allowed to play. The charges were very reasonable though I played 9 holes with 3 other very courteous gentlemen. Recommend the course if you dont want to pay an arm and a leg but still play a decent course.

Although the course is being lengthened but this will not help the fundamental problem playing at this golf course, SLOW PACE of PLAY. This course has nice holes with classic layout. The greens are somewhat on the slower side but are in good shape overall. This beats out VA muni courses except for Laurel Hill.
