We moved near Bowie Golf Course in April. I stumbled on this course looking for a place to play and couldn't be happier. I played five other courses in the area but I joined a men's league and Bowie is our home course. I like the layout. It has it's share of long and short holes. Most important is that in September the maintenance team aerated the tees, fairways and greens. They also over seeded, preparing the course for a lush spring opening. They did a very good job to clear the leaves from the greens and fairways as well. I would recommend this course for play with a friend or a group.

I called on Tuesday evening to book a 715 teatime on this Wednesday morning when we got to the course we teed off the gentleman in the pro shop gave us no indication that there was a shotgun start coming behind us we played 15 holes with no one in front of us we get to the 16th old and all of a sudden there’s foursomes all over the place it would be nice to have known that I was very concerned and upset about that other than that I love the course the greens and fairways but the not knowing that there was a group coming you know at 9 o’clock 915 when we teed off at seven there’s no way were playing 18 holes in two hours so have a good day

This was a very nice course, beautiful scenery on every hole. The reservation process was seamless & stress free. For beginners such as us this course had it's challenges, but it was gratifying to complete. The pace of play around us was great. We will definitely be back for future rounds here.

I wasn't expecting much from this course given the conditions of the surrounding public Maryland courses. However, this course has a great layout and is maintained well. This is the best valued course I have found in the D.C. area. I will definitely be returning.

For the GolfNow price, this course is one of the best values in the Baltimore-Washington DC area. Being a public course, the greens are "seasoned" but still very playable. The fairways are good. The course is lined with trees, minimal water, and well placed and traps. I would recommend this course (but only at the GolfNow discount prices)

As a staff member (professional instructor), I'm biased... BUT, I have been playing this course since 1981 and can honestly tell you that the course is in the best shape it's been since the 1990's. The fairways and greens are in great shape and are going to get even better. Barry Gilbert (superintendent), John Huber (Head PGA Professional and GM) and their staff members have done an amazing job! Many improvements and positive changes to the course and driving range, with more to come. If you haven't played here recently (or ever), come out and see us, you will not be disappointed!.

The course is challenging but very forgiving on most holes. Some areas of the course are in rough shape, but overall I like it. During my visit, I and a friend were sent out behind two foursomes, so I blame the pro shop staff on that one. This turned a 3 hour 18 hole golf game into a 5 hour endeavor. That is really the only gripe I had, though.

Course was decent. Not easy, but also not too risky. Maintenance seemed to be decent but my biggest gripe is the clubhouse. The look and feel of the course is nice, the look and feel of the clubhouse is not.

Good fairways and greens. Rough was crabgrass. Keep it in the fairway! Nice folks. I would also like to thank John and Mike, the starter for a great welcome back, after not playing there for 20 years. Senior tees were very fair. Enjoyed my round.

I don't know what changes management did, they is a complete turnaround of the course from real bad three years ago when I vowed never to play there again. My daughter played the front 9 tournament holes and I admit the fairway and greens looked great. I gave a 4 star because I only witnessed 9 holes and hope there isn't much difference with the front 9
