This Golf corresponds to the category of Golf club.
Excellent range facility. Course in good shape. Greens roll true
Top notch course that has a lot of golfing traffic, which affects the number of divits on the course. Great experience and I will be back to play.
Very reasonably priced place to golf. Definitely would recommend.
Beautiful!!
Nice course busy
The first time I played this track is very difficult. However, it is indeed my favorite course in the area years later. There are always deals going on, and their driving range is state of the art. Staff is friendly. The only annoying thing for me these days is that they have Pepsi products which is a total turn off. Let's get back to golf. Greens are true, lots of deals for green fees - just call the shop to see what is going on. Looks like I will be back here getting after it next Friday!!
Tim is always helpful, as well as a GREAT instructor!
Strange design - half the holes are short doglegs around ponds. Slow play - close to 6 hours Expensive - $100 Nice range, except that you have to hit off of mats - no grass tees
Love this venue! Staff is always friendly and helpful..... they just need to leave plates on the table while people are eating from them!!! Literally had my plate taken mid fork to mouth!!!!
Launchpad is fun and great place to chill
Awesome layout to challenge your skills + great staff
Nice place to relax
Clean well maintained and polite and respectful Staff. I couldn't be happier
Had to buy a gift for son-law found a item I wanted great store.
This was a golf only visit on 3/6/18. Staff was polite, efficient, and knowledgeable. Rental clubs ready when we arrived and were in very good condition. Starter was very helpful and welcoming. Course conditions were pretty average. Weather was cool and sunny with light breeze. Lots of divots unfilled and greens were still in winter type conditions. Interesting and tough layout. Value to price ratio a bit above average.
Held company Christmas party here. It was an extremely nice venue. The food served was amazing. I hope we hold more gatherings here.
Facilities we're clean and well maintained. Staff was professional. Equipment was top of the line.
Good family fun, good food as well
Facility is great, but rated 3 stars for the overly difficult course layout. The course is overly difficult for the average player. Many holes don't have landing areas that leave you a reasonable shot on green ...courses can be difficult but as long as they are scenic and fun one can still enjoy the challenge. I just found this course to be hard without a ton of fun.
Great (but challenging) course. Clubhouse and amenities are beautiful!
Great amenities and interesting layout. Pace is normally good
driving range appear ok. Very busy but the staff was very nice
Great range facilities. Challenging course. Very good fitting studio and staff.
Short but good track. Get out of position and this course will hurt your feelings. Great practice facility and clubhouse. The food is surprisingly good.
Bit pricey but great course. Very well run and maintained. Fast greens. Water and bunkers and trees. Nice carts. Good practice facilities. Friendly staff. Play is a bit slow. Nice restaurant and snack bar.
Beautiful space for a wedding!
Very friendly atmosphere. Best practice facility in the area. Course isn’t long but very challenging.
Nice course, fantastic driving range and practice areas. Learning Academy is staffed with PGA teaching professionals that are a pleasure to work with. Haven't tried out their club fitting services, but I see lots of people getting adjustments and regripping.
Great practice facility but my least favorite course in the area.
Happy hour from 4 to 7 pm Thursday with live guitar/singer - good food, drinks, entertainment, service, beautiful view from patio of driving range. And low prices, 25% off appetizers, $3 drafts, ( inc AlphaOx IPA).
Great food and servive!
Beautiful course, fully stocked pro shop, clubhouse and they have a great restaurant!
Great course, good condition- definitely a solid challenge.
Had a club fitting with Roger Hatcher today. Great experience. Extremely professional. Highly recommend checking him out no matter what your skill level is! Thanks Rodger
Affordable golf course. I would recommend experiencing the new launchpad virtual golf, very engaging. Staff was super helpful and pleasant.
Terrible service from the wait staff, food sat so long under heat lamps it was inedible and had to be replaced, had to ask multiple times for everything. It was embarrassing to take clients there for a drink.
Golf club with a great kids summer camp programme.
Amazing service in general! Beautiful driving range and great location, had a 6 hour layover at Dulles and it's only 9 minutes away. Great place, great service, great prices. Special thanks to Dave at the Pro-Shop.
I was there for a club fitting and did not play the course
Good practice facilities. Course is usually in good condition and challenging.
Finest golfing facility in Northern Virginia. Bring your A game and attitude.
Excellent....all.
This is hands down the best facility that I have seen. The driving range is terrific and if you join and become an annual member you can have access to the grass practice facility which provides all possible short and mid range practice opportunities. The course is relatively short but very challenging, and I play it regularly and never get board with it. The staff is terrific; the starters, the pros, the instructors, the cafe and restaurant staff, all make your feel very special. I would highly recommend it!
I would not recommend. 1757 put our group directly behind a juniors tournament forcing a 5 & half hour round of golf. The greens were fantastic nor were the fairways. Moreover, 1757 had the audacity to charge us full price. Needless to say, I will not return.
Great food, great service and great atmosphere. We had hoped to make it to their beer dinner but they were sold out. Instead the dining room manager sat us outside and took care of our drinks for us. The food is simple, sandwiches, pastas, burgers, but all very well made and with quality ingredients. I will definitely be back for more.
Great course! Great value!
Great place
Beautiful course to play on and a spectacular sunset viewing location! It's a 10✨
Professional and friendly staff. The Clubhouse is nice and clean most especially the restrooms. The course is beautiful and well kept and the range balls are New and clean. Bringing in a guest to play the course would be a memorable one. A lot of lost balls to bring home.
Challenging but very well maintained. If you can score here you can score anywhere in the dmv.
Great course and grill. Still stacking tee times, so expect a 4:30+ round on weekends.
The greens are as good as any. Short but lots of water.
Very nice facility and in good shape...
Let me start by saying I may love tapenade more than golf, but some places don’t make you choose! Plus for all those people who aren’t into olives, let me tell you about the cauliflower!!!
I was there for a wedding and it was nice.
Great track
Very challenging ciurse. Greens are in great condition. Very friendly staff.
Place is ok for meetings. The AV did not work well. But the staff was great!!!
Great way to spend an afternoon, whether you're a folder or not. Affordable prices for balls, as well as beer and food. Nice patio area with live music.
Best driving range in the area. Nice putting green and practice area with real grass tees if you so desire. Golf course penalizes anyone with a slice as water lurks to the right on many holes.
The course can be difficult, which is a nice change after playing some of the easier courses in the area. The practice facility is phenomenal and Dave Ahart and Kyle Backers will go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. Overall, it's a great course to play, practice, or even just to hang out and have a couple beers.
Booked a couple of booths at the LaunchBox for a company sponsored outing, price was great compared to other competitors who wanted 5x as much. Its a really nice setup with heaters, blankets and a small serving room for food and drinks. The service was excellent, the balls don’t automatically replenish themselves like TopGolf but the attendants kept the bins full. I would book this place again.
The course was in excellent condition and, as most reviewers state, the driving range is superior. The course is a bit quirky with most holes left - to - right but it is a fun course to play. Can be a bit slow sometimes as water comes into play on many holes. Higher handicap players may find it a bit challenging. Weekday rates are in line with other high-end facilities. Weekend rates a bit steep. Have enjoyed my experiences at 1757.
Love going to hit balls and have a nice drink!
This course used to be a good place for golfing. Not any longer. My foursome decided not to visit here any longer. Staffs at the club house are so nice, but no marshall on the course. Today it took almost 6 hours for 18 holes play. Green conditions used to be good. Not any longer. Bye 1757.
4 stars for the course and 1 additional star for the really great facilities. Golf academy, driving, chipping and putting practice areas, first class clubhouse, etc. We got senior rate of only $46 on a Thursday. Course is in excellent shape and has alot of water. It is a bit above average difficulty.
Absolutely gorgeous, had a great time at this venue. Perfect place to hold any celebratory event.
Nice course. Exceeded my ability a bit. Great place to get a round in on your way out of town with easy access to IAD
Love this place!
Staff seemed a little short. In the idea that they really didn't want to be there. Everyone has a bad day but it was a private event and a very special day. I don't want your negative attitude poisoning our positive flow. It didn't help that the night started with the thid employee "mistakenly" photo bombing our professional photographer. Unrelated to staff but the patrons at the bar were just being loud and obnoxious.
We held our wedding reception at the 1757 Golf Club and it was an epic fail! Kelsey Baron, their events coordinator, was very nice, professional, and experienced, and a pleasure to work with. She had scheduled her wedding at the club for the night before ours, however, she assured us that everything would be fine. Kelsey passed us off to Carlene Boyer, her assistant, who was very nice — but YOUNG. We entertained our misgivings about her lack of experience for something as important as a wedding, but Kelsey insisted that Carlene could handle it so we proceeded. There is apparently a great deal of turnover in that industry, however, and Carlene left the club. Kelsey assured us that her replacement, Rachel Sawyer, was up to the task. Well, you can see a pattern forming because she was also very pleasant — and YOUNG. We were along in the process by that point and reluctantly proceeded, despite increasing misgivings. In the days leading up to our wedding one of us would call or email Rachel about something, and she always responded politely — but sometimes a day or two later. When you’re scheduling wedding vendors, those types of delays can be a real problem. The day of our event we could see that Rachel and some of her staff were exhausted from working Kelsey’s wedding the night before. We felt as if they pulled out the stops for her because they work together, and left us feeling like second best. While we had some additional pictures taken during our guest’s cocktail hour, we discovered that they’d forgotten to play either our Power Point slide show (of family pix) or the music we’d requested, and had to track them down to get those queued up. We’d also arranged to have golf carts available to take us to their bridge for pix, yet we could not locate them and had to scramble to get the golf carts. This pattern continued throughout the evening. We’d arranged for amber uplighting and when we looked for Rachel, she was nowhere to be found, and we had to track down one of the servers to find her. They wheeled out the food and the steak was so raw that it was red and bleeding, so we had to have them send it back — after we tracked down a server to find Rachel. The lighting still didn’t match our requirements, so we tracked her down again and again, each time through servers because she kept disappearing. The last time that we asked her to set the lights per our request, she looked back oddly and asked, “What, again?” It was obvious that she just didn’t get it. When we asked her if she was worn-out from Kelsey’s wedding, she nodded wearily. We ended-up feeling as if they’d let us down terribly and treated us as if we were an interruption after taking care of Kelsey’s wedding. We decided to seek restitution, and Aaron, one of their managers, treated us courtesy, patiently, and professionally as we agreed on a solution.
They offer camps for kids.
This club hosted my wedding and they did a fantastic job. I still have people telling me about how much fun they had years later.
Went here for a wedding and the venue was gorgeous! I couldn't believe it! Situated on a beautiful golf course that is very well maintained!
Business luncheon was held here. Good food. Decent service. Nice atmosphere.
Best practice facility in the area
I flew in for a wedding. The staff was friendly to all of us, and the area for the wedding outside was beautiful! They even had set aside space for the driving range for guests while the wedding party took photos.
Distance is short, but with so many water hazards it can be very difficult especially when your shot is not on your control. Driving becomes intimidating. Many balls will end up either water or long and long grass. You should bring many balls to play here. I cannot help thinking that this course is way too much overpriced, especially after round. Excellent driving range and electric carts.
Excellent club fitting service.
Nice links course, good layout.
A number of us moved our memberships from another course to 1757 two years ago - an excellent choice. 1757 has one of the best practice facilities I have ever used. Besides a large number of mats on the range, annual members have access to grass practice areas, as well as two practice greens for short iron approach shots. The staff is not only remarkably supportive and very friendly, but also highly professional, towards the golfing public. The course itself is a challenge. Some consider it a short course, but it is tight, requiring the golfer to practice accurate shot making. Considering the amount of daily activity, the grounds crew does an amazing job of keeping the course in consistent very good to excellent playing condition. The restaurant, bar and cafe are a pleasure to visit; great food, friendly staff, and good prices.
Nice place for practice. Very different, families can hang out and practice while ordering food/ beverages
Was really nice.
Great course with a super practice facilities
Short and tight with some challenging holes. Excellent, true greens. The range is the best in the DC area, hands down.
This course was tougher than a lot of others I've experienced. I loved the golf. Was disappointed that the restaurant was closed. If there's a wedding, maybe make some accommodations outside for the afternoon crowd??
Played here 4 times this year and course is in great shape. Greens are a bit slower than i thought but well maintained. Best part of this place - Tour fitting studio. Roger fit me with a set of Titleist irons and did a remarkable job. First round with the new set = 80 (2 over on the first nine). Irons were fit extremely well and Roger is a very experienced pro/fitter to get the job done right the first time. I recommend a fitting here if you are ever in the market for a new set/adjustment.
We were here for a wedding. The view was beautiful. The fall foliage was part of the charm. There was ample room for dining and dancing. Service was good, although dessert was served without utensils. A wonderful time was had by all.
Great facility and really challenging course.
Very nice clubhouse and golf course. Relatively short course but fairly challenging and requires that you shape the ball both left-right and right-left.
The customer service received from Steve at golf shop makes me desire to hit golf balls at another facility. Never had a problem with any other professional at 1757. Maybe he was having a bad day...A smile ,even if you don't want to be at work, goes a long way.
Beautiful place for many different activities.
We love the beer dinners that they host. The food is a great compliment to the featured beers. It is always fun.
Tight fairways, dog legs, water, deep bunkers, brush and thick rough, small island greens for 250 yard par 3s. I lose several balls playing a round here. There is noise from the highway and airport. Power transmission lines buzz overhead. There some holes that require a 5 minute cart ride to get to. When you play here, people complain about a lot (especially when they start losing balls). The staff are friendly and that goes a long way. The driving range and restaurant are great. The course is maintained nicely. If you can hit accurate shots and don't get greedy, it is pretty course to play. All the danger and design shenanigans are visible from the tee. So depending on who you are, who you're playing with, and how much you paid... 1757 can be a 3-star or 4-star experience.
Was in decent shape overall, not worth full price, some greens have plastic sticking up around fringe.
Food sucked and I was there for a special event and would not go back for dinner as the food had no seasoning.
Their salmon salad are delicious and great portion. That's my go-to... but the other dishes didn't disappoint as well, so far the food has been great! Atmosphere is great as well if you want a quaint place to chat with friends.
Nice course and friendly staff
Always great for lunch. The Board Room provides a great meeting venue.
I only did the front nine, as we got rained out on the back. The course looks nice, the greens had just been aerated because it is still early in the season. The staff was very friendly. I thought the food in the restaurant was good too.
We held a networking luncheon at 1757. They had very strict rules regarding the timing of the food. They made us sign an agreement that salads would be served ASAP and entrees by 12:15 pm. Well, they did not live up to THEIR standards. Lunch was served at 12:25 right before the speaker took the stage. My chicken was so dry I could not eat it. My rice was undercooked. I did enjoy the Cesar salad but that was it. Very disappointed. Will not return.
Sitting in my car here on Saturday afternoon (after driving all the way out from Arlington) because they are out of range balls. I paid $1000 for this? I just bought their biggest practice package on Thursday and the 1st time I try to use it, this is what happens. Unbelievable
Good golf course. Great short game practice area.
Cute place hidden in the middle of nowhere
had a 420+1337 experience. Do not recommend hard-scoping on this map though.
Great range but they just they just changed there hours to shutdown an hour earlier than their normal winter hours.
Really nice country club with friendly staff. The green is well maintained
Cool place..
Always play slow. No rest rooms on course.
Love 1757, work there and a customer.
Have only been to play in the new Launchbox. It was a lot of fun! It is like being on TV watching how the pros hit off their tee shots. They also have games to play similar to top golf, but it is all virtual. It will give markers for reference but you have to judge it best through the screen (it will give distances). Definitely want to head back to play that again and also check out the course
The course is okay. I don't think it's not worth the price tag. Also, those powerline posts are a huge eye pollution.
Nice. Place to visit.
The course was nice and reasonably challenging. It is well maintained, and everyone who works there seems friendly and professional. It was a happy surprise.
First, let me preface this review by saying I've spent a lot of time and money at 1757. I find their range and ball quality to be superior to other facilities. However, the last four times I've visited to use the range I've been extremely disappointed. For at least three weeks they refused to sell more than a medium size bucket citing they didn't have enough balls because others have been hitting into the woods at the far end of the range. This is simply unacceptable. Pay a few high school kids to come clean your range. This is a lazy excuse and bad management practices. I visited today to use the range and to my surprise I was sold a large bucket. But, once the balls were dispensed I only received a medium quantity of balls. Yes, I checked the receipt. It said large. It seems 1757 has lowered their large bucket quantity while maintaining their ridiculous price of $15. This...is how you solved the problem? Poor management is why I will not be going back. Take care of your patrons. We notice. Second, IMO, the course layout (hard to control) is very poor. That, coupled with average course conditions for the price you pay, is another reason I will not be going back. I do hope they can improve in these areas. On a positive note, the staff has always been friendly
I have mixed thoughts after playing here on 7/22/17. I thought the facilities, course conditions, and price were all very good for this area. It felt like the extra cost over other public courses was justified. The course itself however, is just not for me. With water on nearly ever hole, tall grass just off fairways and greens, and lots of forced carries, I simply did not enjoy myself. I don't expect every hole to be a pushover, and I welcome a challenge; but that being said a 12 handicapper doesn't want to lose 6-7 balls of the course of a round. I could see myself coming back for the practice facilities, but almost certainly not for another round.
1757 Golf Club is am amazing wedding venue! I photographed a wedding there a few months ago and really loved all the photo opportunities the location provided. Here are just a few pictures from the gorgeous day!
One of the best in the area. Very challenging water in play on 14 of 18 holes.
Good
I go during their happy hour ($2 draft beer) and do the driving range. Depending on the weather it can be pretty crowded. It is a really nice place.
Really well maintained and challenging course. It makes up for its flatness and lack of elevation through course difficulty. One of my favorites in Loudoun County.
Great course well maintained greens are awesome and staffers are great
Great place to take lessons
We had our holiday party here. The rooms were laid out comfortably. The staff were courteous and helpful. The food was excellent (steak, salmon, potatoes, asparagus, carrots.)
I am in my second year of membership as a seven-day member at 1757 golf club. I chose to join 1757 over a more private course for a number of reasons: its convenient location, its excellent facility, and the professionalism of its management and staff. It has provided me all the advantages of a private course at much lower cost. The management is proactive, efficient, and responsive; the practice facility is unmatched in expanse, ease of use, and flexibility; the course is well maintained; the restaurant facility offers gourmet quality meals; and the staff is very courteous and professional. I have also used the services of the instructional facility for satisfying results - highly talented instructors. I am very pleased with my choice of 1757 golf course. - Josh Kolawole
Fun times! Like Top Golf but much better! Especially for my friends who truly golf!
Super calm
Upscale atmosphere with competitive prices for range balls and green fees, given the area. Practice facility is superbly manicured. Worth the annual membership fee if you're serious about improving your game.
Great views and beer selection.
Awesome time here! Great food and drinks and Golf!
Love the course layout because it is demanding but fair. Practice facility is the best around.
Great test of all aspects of your game
The course, while challenging, is in excellent condition. Helpful and friendly staff make is a nice place to play a round.
Small parking lot. But a very nice club overall
The Santa brunch is fantastic. Food is great, best Santa in town and you don't have to wait in line. Other events ate also great. Went to a dueling piano before and was fantastic.
Eady access, good parking and facility good - could use updating in meeting and rest rooms.
Beautiful place
Nice course. Kept up well. Played company tournament there. It was a rainy day, and the course held up. Staff was friendly and pleasant to interact with. Course had lots of water, but isn't overly difficult for the occasional violet. 6th hole kind of nuts, though. Not a dogleg so much as a right angle. Had a great time!
