I WENT FOR A WEDDING CEREMONY, AND ON THE WAY BACK WE STOPPED AT LOCAL LOBSTER PLACE. KAREN'S HIDEAWAY. THE AMBIANCE IS CASUAL, BUT THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! LOBSTER MEAT TAKEN FROM A WHOLE LOBSTER, THIN WARMED BUTTERY ROLL WITH EITHER LIGHT MAYO OR A BUTTER SAUCE! SWEET POTATOE FRIES CRISPY ON THE OUTSIDE, SOFT ON THE INSIDE, COLESLAW MADE FRESH, LOADED POTATOE SALAD. THE CRAB ROLL WAS JUST AS MEATY AND DELICIOUS. SO MANY OTHER ITEMS TO CHOSE FROM THIS FAMILY RUN BUSINESS. CHECK IT OUT.

Absolutely beautiful place! Clubhouse, bar and grill along with outside dining areas are very nice. Golf course is well laid out, is in exceptional condition and the greens were some of the nicest I've ever played! Also really enjoyed the man made 5000 gallon/minute creek that ran through the whole course with several waterfalls. Highly recommend this gorgeous place!

This is truly an outstanding golf course. The greens and fairways were in perfect condition. It's challenging but fair, even for average golfers. Fairways are fairly generous, greens are fast but really roll true. The staff were welcoming and courteous. First class course, first class facilities.

We stayed at the Boothbay Harbor Oceanside Golf Resort and fell in love with the place. Top shelf establishment. The food was excellent and the staff was professional and polished. My wife and I played a round of golf at the country club and felt like members! Beautiful course, the club house reminded me of the mansions of Newport.

I have played dozens of courses all across Maine, and Boothbay is hands down the best golfing experience in the state. The course is beautiful, the conditions are immaculate, and the club house is second to none. The course is pricey, however if you have the chance to play here it is worth every penny.

Why a guard house at the road? Stick the nose up the big city crap and come back to a small town friendly atmosphere. Change the entrance!

I've only been to the gym and pool area. Staff is nice. Weight room has a Smith machine and up to 75 lb dumbbells. Also it has at least one functional trainer. There are 265 lb of plates for the Smith machine. Plenty of machines bikes and treadmills. TRX downstairs. There are no real locker rooms. There are bathrooms with showers. That is why the 4 star rating.

We were so impressed with the staff, quality of the furniture in the room and loved spending time on the dock in the evening with the tower heaters and fire pits. We were even offered blankets while dining on the dock. We will definitely return.
