Terrible customer service. The course should not have even been open due to the amount of wetness there was. There was multiple times where I was sunk in mud to my ankles and had no way around it. I was not given any warning of the wetness before paying or heading on to the course. I played at another nearby course a couple of days ago and it was in almost perfect condition. After playing my round I went back into the clubhouse and complained about the course being muddy and suggested that it shouldn’t be open. The employee on the other side of the counter was extremely rude and inconsiderate, and did not offer anything to make this right. Probably not coming back here

It's a beautiful course that's always well manicured. Prices are fair and tee times are reasonable even for walk ins. Best course with 50 miles.

Best in the greater Bangor area! 18 hole course with a separate 9 hole course (that's 27 holes!) and a driving range. I could spend all day here. $10 per 9 with a valid student ID! Military & Bangor resident discounts as well. Clubhouse has good food. Located minutes from downtown Bangor, right off exit 183. Well marked and maintained. Only downside is a not-so friendly staff. Granted they work hard, but I golf here almost every day and some staff have no customer recognition/appreciation. Penobscot is the only comparable course. However, the value for your dollar is worth more at Muni. I choose Muni over Penoby every day of the week.

The course is in excellent shape! I would go more often if it didn't cost $50 to play 18 holes at a municipal golf course! I've played executive courses that only charge $10 more to play, and the course is pristine! The employees are amazing and the starter is a nice guy! Just can't deal with the pricing!

Winter has taken its toll here in Maine, but these guys are hard at work doing everything they can to recover from a harsh winter. For a public Mini course, . these guys are wonderful at taking care of this course and trying to give you the best course possible.
