Nestled in the natural wetlands of southwest Louisiana, Koasati Pines at Coushatta, rated 4-1/2 stars, is an excellently maintained and presented course, laid out on open terrain - beyond the course perimeter and splitting the front and back nines are natural forests of stately pines and huge live oaks.

Immaculate! The fairways, greens and tee boxes are in perfect condition. GPS is always a nice feature. Cold water available on every hole (at least it felt like it). The layout is fantastic. A beautiful course with six tee boxes. Only negative ... the sand traps could use more sand.

Beautiful, well kept course. Nice facilities. My only criticism is that there are not enough water coolers on the course. There are 2 really nice bathrooms and ice and water at each with a nice shaded area.

Was surprised by the quality of this course in the tucked away town of Kinder. Pro shop is very well-stocked. Rental clubs are top-of-the-line, carts are clean (USB chargers on board!) The only disappointment for our group was there was no refreshment cart....personally, I came prepared for that, but one in our group had to use the water canteens located on the course. Our experience at the grill was even better than everything else. Alison took care of us and really made our day one of the best out-of-town golf experiences we have ever had. (Thank you Alison!! You rock!) The chef prepared everything perfectly. The breakfast was so great, we stayed around for lunch after our game. I didn't want to leave!! Really hope we can come back.

Played a round on November 20, 2018. Found a deal for 18 bucks on golf now. Rates are usually around 70. Course was very wet from rain but otherwise in GREAT condition. Greens and fairways were prestine. The course itself is fairly short with large landing areas for drives but approach shots is where things get tough. Most greens are surrounded by sand or water. The clubhouse has an excellent restaurant and service is great.

Paid 45 dollars for the twilight fee and started with 3.5 hours of daylight left. One hour into my game it started lightening. Went back to the club house and asked for a rain check and they said no. I wish I would have been told that up front and I would never have stayed playing. Always call before you go there because a lot of times there are tournaments or the driving range is closed. Very nice course but they should be more customer friendly.

Outstanding course with fast greens and a good layout. The staff and clubhouse and pro shop are along the lines of a private club. And they have a great locker room where you can shower after your round and then hit the casino! Do yourself a favor and book a round.....the rates are good!

Love this place. We come here with a group of 24 every year twice a year for our men's golf trip. Been doing it for over 10 years. Tried a couple of other places before, but nothing beets Koasati! Great course, well maintained. Awesome range and practice greens. And the staff and food are awesome.

Top-notch experience. Staff was excellent. I would give the golf course a 9.5 on a scale of 1-10. The price was also reasonable. I would be paying almost double in DFW compared to a similar course. A little out-of-the-way, but if you find yourself in southwest La, and you want to play golf, you could do much, much worse.

This is an amazing golf course! The greens are immaculate with a well designed course. The clubhouse is great with friendly staff and a comfortable lounge area. The proshop has nice apparel and equipment. The golf carts are up to date with GPS. This is a place to enjoy a wonderful round of golf.

Very strategically placed holes, very well kept, and several tee boxes. Playing the back tees make the course tour difficulty, play from the whites and you have a normal length course. The layout isn't too tricky, if you play the course right, the greens are where they get you. The 19th hole yardages are messed up... but I can't tell if they did that on purpose. All in all it was a very good playing experience

I love to play this golf course five different sets of tees make it challenging for all levels I am told it's the longest golf course in the state of Louisiana from the tips at over 7000 yards. Love the layout of the course the holes are spread out you really don't have to wait between holes for groups in front of you very seldom. I really enjoyed the practice facilities driving range and two very large putting greens also it's a great place to host corporate tournaments
