Not too hard to find, nice views and excellent services

Wild Turkey Trace is a pretty decent golf course set in the rolling hills of KY. The design is ok and well suited for the mid to high handicapper (wide fairways and only a handful of hazards) The course conditions vary greatly during the year because of KY's fickle weather, but they do a nice job of keeping things in good condition. It's a great value for the money.

Do not play here, especially if you are coming from out of town on vacation. The fairways are 80 percent dirt, and the greens have holes and dirt patches all over. The cart path is unfinished. I played this course last fall and it was in really good shape. But after playing on memorial day, there is no reason to play here, especially since it's 35 dollars for 18 holes while bright leaf is only 27 dollars for 27 holes.
