REVIEWS OF Vettiner Golf Course IN Kentucky

Kyle McAninch

One of the better courses in town! Further from me than some of the MetroParks courses, but definitely worth the drive and the price. Very well maintained and is probably the most challenging muni course in Louisville.

Mark M

Nice course, rough shape at the moment, but they are doing improvements. Long and tough.

JC

Fun for a public course. Not to bad on price either.

For a parka course, it's nice enough but there's much that can be improved upon in this course. Overall layout is pretty good but upkeep is consistently lacking. I play this curse only once or twice a year and am always left wishing I'd played somewhere else that day instead. Price isn't bad for a quick round but I wouldn't plan a day around this course.

Golf course, relaxing. Most excellent golf course, and in great condition. Has a lot of challenges, nice size of area. Great for exercise and fitness. View is beautiful, well layed out. Just love the way it's made. Well worth the trip there and prices are reasonable. Go for it.

Coarse is not in the best shape, 2 holes are closed

Best Metro Public Course. Very challenging lay out. Some beautiful holes.

Nice golf course. Great staff who are helpful and very friendly. Average to long wait times depending on crowd. Golf course in good shape other then a little dried out at some tee boxes due to heat. Otherwise we'll maintained course.

Good public course. I enjoyed the layout. Not a course where every hole is challenging. Greens were in great shape but the fairways were dry and hard (early October). Lots of divots that weren't fixed on greens. Five hour + round. Driving range, or lack there of, left a lot to be desired. Staff was great though.

I dropped my kiddos off here the other day and let them play the course. They love coming here and the staff is really sweet and always helpful.

I've played this course only in the cooler months when the zoysia goes dormant ("reverse" yellow fairways). It's a fun, challenging course (7th toughest in KY per their website) that is quite a bargain during weekdays in the winter. The staff is very welcoming. The greens may be a bit less smooth than normal, but it's still worth the effort when you're wanting to get out and play. The trees and water hazards (ponds and creeks) add to demands on your shot shape. The blue tees will challenge most golfers, and the whites are no give away. Hole #8 from the blue tees is my favorite from the middle of the pond. #16 is probably my 2nd favorite. The rolling terrain makes for an enjoyable walk if you're so inclined. There are a few blind shots on some holes, so beware of your fellow golfers being hidden in a dale or two. 3:45 for a relaxed round got us 18 starting ~1:45. Enjoy!

Love this place. One of my favorites. Challenging with descent length. Not a beginner course. Pace of play is important. If you're a slow player be prepared to talk to the Marshall.

Best public golf course in all of Louisville, Kentucky. Classic layout, reminded me of Olympic Club and Valhalla Golf Club, two major championship golf courses.

Good course if you like a 6 hr round behind people who insist on playing the blue tees and only 2 out of make it to the red tees. No marshall came out to help. They would not let anyone through

Richard Royse

Good course for the money. Best of municipal courses.

Richard Miller

The greens are in good shape. The fairways are not too bad. The rates are excellent and the course is hard.

Got 18 in early. Ready for Lakeside.
