Pasture. Greens all sand, tire tracks in fairway, not mowed properly, mud bunkers, terrible course design. Played better muni courses all over the country. Stay away.

The course we played 2nd, not wild cat, had the toes aerated not long before we played so the plugs were all over the tee boxes. They did'nt stick around in the bar so I could return the cooler I rented for $10 so guess who has a cooler now. And they charged $4 for a Yuengling because it was in the import list even though it's brewed in Pennsylvania. Not impressed.

Course is nice enough. Staff is unorganized and unprofessional. We booked a tee time for 9am at wildcat and we were asked to stop playing after first 9 because they overbooked with some sort of outing. No big deal because they asked us to finish up round with the first 9 on big blue. The unacceptable unprofessionalism comes from the heavy set maintenance man who was driving around in a green gator. He drove up on us at a tee box and said "keep your cart on the God d*mned cart path. See the sign?" it's funny because we were just off the path in the rough close to the tee box and he drive up on it himself and turned around in it after he cussed us out. I asked if the sign said God d*mn on it and he responded "I've been dealing with this sh*t all day". He definitely needs to learn how to communicate to customers. If I ran this club I'd make sure he was not in a customer facing position. You'll know who he is because he was the only angry overweight white male working the course today. Good luck.

Nice course, we play it yearly on our trip from Cincy to the area, but this year we have to give it a rating of a 3 out of 5 because the greens were in horrible shape. I'm sure the course gets heavy play but the unrepaired ball marks is noteworthy because it impacted scores. The other concern was there were no refreshment carts on the course that day. We love the course but at almost 50.00 bucks a round these shouldn't be issues. We'll give it another shot next year.

First time out. Played the Wildcat course. I believe the easier of the 2 18 hole courses. Nice course. Rough is brutal. Little rough around the edges but hoping to make it my new home course.

Well speaking of the course, it is in great shape. The business part of it is where I'm rating the course two stars. Our tee time was scheduled for 3pm. The guy working wanted so badly to watch the UK football game. He Moved our tee time and said we had until 6 so he could watch his game. Needless to say we didn't finish. Played 15 holes with a foursome. On google it says open till 7? I didn't get my money's worth and felt rushed. Just not a way to run a business.

Big Blue is in great shape it has some fun holes. Wildcat on the other hand, back in the spring was run down... the fairways were bad greens were worse. My group still had a good time I just expect more for a club associated with the university of kentucky

The course was in good (not great) shape. However it appears that the course is in decline. There are far better courses in the area to play so choose wisely.

Great course but some are the employees are the worst- If you try to play in the evening the guy is always counting his drawer to get out of there and makes you feel bad for wanting to play golf, I get off work at 5 and like to play 9 holes but he will ask if you can hurry all the time. Again great course lousy employee.

My father came into from out of state and I thought the WILDCAT course would be a good place to take him. I have played UCLUB at least 30 times. The wildcat course has gone to S***. the fairways are all diseased and ate up and brown, the greens are marred with non repaired divots. It just looks terrible. I know it has been dry the last 2 weeks, but charging 45$ is no excuse to no be watering it well. Went out and played the bull later in the day for 22 dollars and the greens were pristine and the fairways were lush. The big blue side looked a little bit better but stay away from the Wildcat course. Wish I could have got my money back and was embarrassed to bring my dad here. Not a good representation of Kentucky golf. Wont be playing this course again till next year.
