Great course! Bring a few extra balls!

The course is in bad shape for the $39. At 11 we tried to go get a beer or a coke and the doors where locked. Back in the good old days there would be a phone on the 9th hole to order food or drink. GONE. If you want to be a prestigious course treat your patrons like you would like to be treated.

Steve Burton

Friendly atmosphere with great food and service.

Keith Ellis

Fairways in outstanding shape. The best golf for the money in the tri-state.

The Pearl Club has a great layout. But the conditions have deteriorated because of poor maintenance. Many of the greens have lots of sunscald and bald spots. There are two fairways that are perfect so obviously it can be maintained correctly. The locker rooms were like they were going to move. Pictures were piled up and Christmas decorations were in tubby's. There were no towels available for showering after golf. Soooo... the overall experience was less than expected.

I had a nice time. Our party was about 8 people and we all enjoyed ourselves. The club has TV's on the walls, so you can watch the golf channel or some other channels. It's a nice place

Best kept secret in the Tri-State. Great greens, and when the course is in full summer bloom, its a beautiful track.

Course was in good shape. Grill was closed on Sunday afternoon which made no sense. Made the turn and wanted to buy a burger or something but didn’t have the option.

This was my 2nd time playing The Pearl. I've played many courses in the Southern Indiana area and this one is tough to beat for the price. We paid $40 and it is well-worth it. The course is very well maintained and the greens were surprisingly pretty quick for having received 2 days straight worth of rain. I will definitely play this course again, given the chance. If you're in the Owensboro/Southern Indiana area, give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

The facilities are top notch, staff are very welcoming, beautiful course layout, fast firm greens. My only complaint would be the tee boxes seems a little shaggy and out of place for such a nice course. I will definitely be back soon though, positives overwhelmingly outway the negatives.

Well-maintained, challenging course. Amenities are among the best I’ve found in the area. Course plays tight, but staff does a stellar job on keeping it in great playing shape.

Love this 18 hole course. Well taken care of. Great staff. Not your typical bbv easy every hole is straight course. Tucked away just outside of town. Beautiful and quiet.

The most beautiful course anywhere. There were some issues with the fairways and greens over the last couple of years but its all back and absolutely gorgeous. Food in the grill is very good. A great atmosphere to relax after a great round of golf.

Daymon Ward

Underrated restaurant. More people on the east side should know about this place. Food is always excellent. I believe the public thinks you have to be a member to dine there but that's not the case. Hidden gem!

Played my first time at The Pearl Club yesterday. Definitely won't be my last. The course was in great shape. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The carts came with a cooler with two bottles of water and ball washer and club cleaner. Water comes into play on several holes.(unfortunately for me, my balls love to go swimming. LOL) I would highly recommend this course.

Joshua Reeves

Not quite what i expected

Tim Crawley

Great course. Not long and not too tight.

Mark Baker

I'm Mark Baker with Sunshine Cleaning Services. I clean the entire facility carpets at The Pearl Club once a year. I see the facility from the inside out. It's very well managed, kept clean, and the people are great to work for and with. Total thumbs up!

Jarrid O'Bryan

There for a dinner, so I can't speak to the golf course. Staff was mostly friendly, entree portions were VERY small and the cheesy broccoli was more cheesy water over broccoli. The meat seemed to have sit in the serving warmer for a while beforehand, was a little tough and kinda dry.

The Pearl Club is probably the best kept secret in Owensboro, KY. Not knowing anything about it, we went there to play it because it was well rated and semi-private but with very reasonable rates. Not really a very long drive from town, maybe 15-20mins, it's located on 200 acres of nicely formed land that also houses the upscale Summit Homes community. I was impressed with the drive into the club, going through the Summit Homes area as really a treat. The brick clubhouse is very nice and nicely situated on the property. According to the golf shop pro there, the clubhouse is on the highest point in the county. I believe it because there are some great views of 9 and 18 and overlooking the countryside. Just by chance, being a two-some, we linked up with the two-some behind us. Man what luck that was! I asked if they knew the course and the one, Terry, said pretty well because he plays it about 3-4 times a week. I figured he must be a member. The other guy said, well, he owns the place, which I thought he was kidding. Ha! He wasn't. So we got to play the whole front nine with the owner himself, Terry, and the teaching pro, Don. He related some of the history to us over that couple of hours. The club had gone through some hard times because of a couple years of very bad freezes that tortured the fairways, but he had them reseeded in Zoysia which are really nicely grown in now. The zoysia helps set the ball up nicely, darn near almost like it's teed up. The condition of the fairways is really exceptional. The course layout is challenging, hilly, open and beautiful. I would call it a championship course, or at least at that level. You can walk the course if you're in good shape, but I'd recommend taking a cart. Since the overall cost is very modest, I would Highly recommend it. Some of the views from the tees are as nice as any I've seen anywhere. I thought #10 from the tee with its sweeping view down and dogleg left around a pond was something to behold. The greens are in beautiful shape, fast and putt very true. There's plenty of water to challenge you. And the par 5's are super nice, and a couple with some carry required before the green. The restaurant in the clubhouse is well laid out, clean and modern. The food is excellent with a broad menu and very reasonable prices. We had chicken quesadillas to split between us, though I heard from the pro that the blackened chicken sandwich is awesome. I really can't say enough good things about this golf club, the course and the owner. One of the most personable people I've ever met bought the club when it needed help, and he's brought it back to the quality level that it deserves. Kudos to him, his faith and passion and great business sense. Is this the Best kept golf secret in Owensboro, maybe in the region? I'd say - Definitely! We WILL be back!

Course was in good shape for the time of the year. Fairways were exceptional. Greens had been recently aerated. Pro shop staff was friendly and professional. Good value with afternoon tee time.

Don Atkins

Really a nice club house and pro shop. Well kept and the people were friendly and helpful. The cart was delivered with a cooler of ice and two waters, the other side had a ball and club washer. The nice part was receiving a coupon for a free round for each player at a later time when we brought a foursome to play. But when we went to the practice green, my foursome noticed the greens had been aerated but not sanded. The fairways were good and the grasses were cut well, but again the greens were spiked for aeration, but not sanded. Late August seemed a little early for aeration and the greens had some stress, so it made putting difficult. Over all, it was a nice day for the price. This course is well cut into the Kentucky hills and it will be worth the return trip for our free round, but we will check on the greens first. Addition to review: 8/27/2018 Played The Pearl with three others and we were all impressed with the place. Almost all the greens were in excellent shape. There was some rough spots and a little crabgrass on three greens. The fairways were great and the roughs were playable. We all are headed back before the fall season is over.
