Greens normally always in great shape and rolling true.... Keep it in the short grass and this course can be eaten up but hit the driver off line and it'll be a long day of pitching out or really trying to shot shape to get on or around the greens

Full disclosure. I play golf at Spring Valley. What the club is: affordable and friendly / traditional, well designed layout / superb groundskeeping from tee to green / family owned and operated (work at the course daily both in the pro shop and the course) / wide range of tournaments for all / an easy walk for that that choose to and I do / long- term PGA Head Professional on staff as is a full time Teaching Professional - both with top notch qualifications / and affordable - did I mention that?

When booking your wedding venue here take another look please!!!! I had a contract with the venue to use the facility until 11:30. The lady who runs the weddings, Dottie requested that I stop my reception at 10:45 so my DJ could pack up. They are very difficult to work with on doing decorations and I had several of my guests come up to me and tell me that she was rude to them. While the facility was beautiful it was pulling teeth to do anything there or follow the contract.

I recently attended a wedding at Spring Valley Golf Club. The setting is beautiful. The wedding was outside in the front with the beautiful club house in the background. The food was excellent. We are not members at this club and still received impeccable service. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Course conditions were okay. The greens were smooth and true but slow. The fairways were patchy and some times the rough looked better. Traps had a good about of sand before the bottom. Some what of a short course. All fairways are tree lined so staying out of trouble is key.

Nice course. Usually not to busy and most people play at a good pace. Not to many trees or crazy hazards. Even though it's name has valley in it, it's not in a valley, so there's good views.
