I awoke to the smell of eggs, home-cooked bacon, and acidic thin coffee that wafted through the rolling hills separating the picturesque clubhouse from the comfortable villas and homey driving range. The view from the first tee was the perfect representation of the 18 hole trek that lay ahead. Also, I couldn't help but notice that as a young man sauntered towards the bushes by the practice putting green, the elegant burial grounds glistened as the sun rose beyond the 18th fairway. Regardless, the hairy greens and pro-style layout present a great challenge for all levels of golfer. It's both forgiving and brutal for those who play the magestic sling draw like I. I recommend the course to all those in search of a great weekend away from the nagging, ever weight gaining wife.

Our group has been going to Peninsula since 2003 (witha few years off around 2010), and this year, the course is in the best condition we've ever seen. Huge kudos to the management and staff for all the hard work. The pro shop and kitchen staff were friendly and helpful, too. Overall, a great experience. Can't wait to go back!

Difficult to find, well keep, with very good views. I played off senior tee and found it average to difficult. Liked it and will definitely play the course at least twice more this season.

The course was in great shape except for one green. Huge improvements from year to year. This was my fourth year there on a weekend golf trip. The condos are nice and the cost is very reasonable.

Not particularly my kind of golf course too many Blind shots. The greens had just been top dressed which made it difficult on the greens. However the biggest problem was the time it took to get there from Louisville and the back roads.

Wonderful golf course! Challenging, very well priced! Breakfast was better than in the past, and the course must be under new ground keeping. Course was in excellent shape, GPS on all the carts that kept you out of the wet areas and away from the greens! That condos were updated and we're in good shape as well! Needed more TP, and the linen was just enough on the bathrooms, need to leave extras! We are going back next year! Cannot wait!!

A decent little course out in the middle of nowhere. I have been coming here with a large group for several years now and they always take really good care of us! The only feedback I would give to the course is to continue to work on the bunkers to make them playable (they have done some recent work and made some improvements) and keep your snack and food area in stock (snickers, sandwiches, etc)! They are missing out in sales!

Peninsula has been the host to our golf event for 10 years running now. Recent changes in management have seen some investment in the facilities. The staff, food, and accommodations are down to earth and exactly what we want for a Guys Weekend of golf and fellowship.

A hidden gem in the Kentucky countryside. If you haven't played Peninsula in the last few years, you're missing out. It's looking better than ever and would make a great destination golf outing for small or large groups. The course is challenging, but not impossible. The villas are well-appointed and it doesn't get much more convenient than staying where you play. The staff is top notch and bend over backwards to make everyone's visit memorable.

Course layout is awesome! Tee boxes and cart paths are rough in spots. Can't beat the price for 18!
