I rarely have any complaints about service staff, but the folks behind the counter here are consistently rude and unhelpful. Course is ok but most of the other parks courses are nicer for the same cost. Won't be spending any more money here until they make some changes.

The only reason why I'm giving this course a 2 star is because the greens and sand box are actually pretty good but everything else is awful. Tee box-hard as a rock, barely could get my tees in the ground Fairways- look and feel like the rough at other courses Kinda looks and feels like a slightly better Penn run What really topped it off was the management and their customer support, they wouldn't let us play an extra 9 when it was 6:30 because "we don't think you'll finish in time. We like to have our carts in at 8:30" I obviously will not be returning but play at your own risk here

Usually don't like to complain but incredibly surprised with how rude and unwelcoming the main guy behind the counter was, would have been more enjoyable if wasn't for that.

Best shape I've seen this course in years. I had stopped playing the course 2 years ago due to poor conditions. I decided to try it again after hearing that it had improved. I was pleasantly surprised. I'll definitely play there again soon

Got there at 3:45, tee time was at 3:58. The guy behind the counter was very rude and didn't seem to want to help us. We had to wait to get checked in and there was no line in front of us. Golf course is not bad, but the tee boxes are hard as a rock, you will break your tee just trying to put it in the ground. Besides the golf course, management should be more professional.

Good golf course

Management is rude. Very inflexible and not friendly. Driving range is very poor and no one seems to care. Time to get new management so that customers are treated better and grounds are better managed. I won't be going back and the course is right by my house - sigh.

Course is absolutely horrible.. Very slow. Waited about 10-15 minutes between every tee box. Never going back

Great greens

Cliff notes: Didn't play and won't go back. Staff was rude and didn't seem to care. So many rules posted behind the desk, it would take a law degree to decipher them. Plus, the fairways were completely uncut and the driving range looked like an advanced weed whacking class. Logged in online to register a tee time on the Saturday before Easter Sunday. Got the first twilight time at 3:58. Figured I had plenty of time to play 18 solo since the website indicated they closed at 9 PM. No dice. Got there at about 3:40 and asked to check in for my tee time at 3:58. Guy behind the desk asked for my details to find the tee time and then said he couldn't check me in until 3:58 because it was a twilight rate. Stood around waiting. He was able to start checking me in about 10 minutes later at 3:51. Not sure why I had to wait if he really didn't have to wait to check me in. He pulled up my reservation and then asked if I was playing 9 or 18... but that was in the tee time, so I'm not sure why this was so confusing. I told him 18 and he asked if I was riding or walking. Told him riding and he said I could only rent a cart for nine because they were closing early for Easter... on Saturday. Told him that I didn't have any issues reserving that online and he told said, "If you would have called, we would have told you we were closing early." Apparently it was my fault they can't program their reservation system to allow them to arbitrarily close early. He pointed to a handwritten sign hanging behind the counter saying "No cart rentals after 3:30" that was posted among about six other sheets of paper with interesting arbitrary rules on them. I told him to just forget it and walked out while he acted stunned. Called up Vettiner and asked when they stopped renting carts... about 6:20. Drove fifteen minutes down the road, played 18 holes with a cart and finished before 7:30. My advice is to skip the long drive out to this place and play at one of the much nicer courses closer to civilization. This place doesn't deserve the public funding it gets from my tax dollars.

For a public golf course, it's an outstanding place. Bent Bermuda fairways on a really challenging layout. Greens are in excellent shape.

The course was in nice shape today! Recommend Long Run, hadn’t played there in a long time & forgot how challenging and pretty it is. I love a course surrounded by woods. The pro is super nice.

Albert Farmer

In good shape, greens are great

Fun course and a great value for the green fee's. 18 holes and very well built and maintained. Greens are near perfect right now.

Course so so

Went in clubhouse, manager behind counter was on a personal call on his cell phone, I waited for some time went to bathroom came back still on the phone. He finally got off phone so I could ask a question about the freeze delay, he was so rude and unprofessional. I have played here 5 or 6 times this year, I will not be going back. Course is not in that good of shape.

It's a golf course, badly kept up. Needs a LOT of work. We came on a 90+ degree day and were told no outside water. The jugs on the course were of course empty, and the front said they didn't have time to go ok them. We had two tee times of six total people and were harassed when we were sitting at the tees talking saying we became a group of six, even though we played three and three. Overall a terrible experience and left after 7 holes

Ed Neutz

Horrible shape! Tee boxes, fairways, traps are not playable. City Should be ashamed of this course. Guess more bike routes are needed. Sorry kids.

Howard Goldberg

Logan Twohey

Improved course conditions (keeping the rating from 1 star), poor staff quality (unfriendliness and rudeness), some bad tee boxes. Relatively easy to get a bad lie in the fairway. The driving range is in very poor condition with spotty long grass and dirt mix on an uneven surface.

John Murray

Decently priced public, muni course with club house, range, 18 hole, and par 3 mini course. This may not be the fanciest or sexiest course in the area, but it's a great to just play as you are. Want to go in tshirt and jeans? Fine. Occasionally, that's a nice change of pace. The course itself is kept ok, with the back nine much harder than the front. Pace of play is hit or miss.
