We offer you all the feddbacks of people who are purchasing the services of Heritage Hill Golf Club (Golf) in the state of Kentucky.
Nowadays this firm gets a rating of 4.6 out of 5 and that rating has been based on 140 reviews.
As you can see its rating is almost the highest, and it is based on a very high number of reviews, so we may be pretty sure that the assessment is quite reliable. If many people have bothered to leave their review when they've done well, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to set scores when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...

Way to expensive for what the course has to offer. The sand traps were unplayable throughout the course. The price just keeps going up and the quality of the course keeps going down.
Great course and staff
Nice course but has way too many sand traps.
As good as it gets for a public course. The greens were consistent, the fairways were manicured and the tee boxes were like carpet. This course is deceptive. It seems easy in many spots, but if your tee shot is offline, your ball will be lost in the weeds. I love this course!
If you're in Louisville Kentucky and you play golf this is the place to go.
Great Coarse
Loved this course. Rip it and or play with tactics, it's a pretty walk as well.
One of my favorite courses in the louisville area. Only reason I only give four stars is I do think the upkeep, especially the bunkers, has gone slightly downhill. Greens have far too many pitch marks in them and since it is a public course, apparently no one knows how to fix them. Aside from those things, the course is always in inaccurate shape. Lots of elevation changes, some good dog legs, and one of the best par 3's in the state. Also- number 18 is possibly the best view in KY golf.
Beautiful course
This course is up there with the best I've ever played. Every hole on the track is as unique as it is beautiful, the superintendent and pro here are top notch. A+
Fun layout, but that's the only positive from my round yesterday. For the price I was not satisfied with the conditions. The greens were slow and riddled with check marks that no one seems to know how to repair. The pins had not been move in quit some time, so there were tons of spike marks all around the hole which made putting a shot in the dark. Fairways could have been mowed, the zoysia grass was 1" to 2" tall in some areas. Sand traps were a disgrace. Our group decided early on to play them as ground under repair. For all the hype I've read and comparison to other "equal" level public courses around Louisville, For my first trip to this course, I doubt I'll seek out t times to play here in the future.
Freaking awesome course for good price
Beautiful views, well maintained, challenging.
Well maintained manicured course with friendly staff awesome experience priced right an a absolute treat for avid golfers.
Way to expensive for what the course has to offer. The sand traps were unplayable throughout the course. The price just keeps going up and the quality of the course keeps going down.
Always in good condition. One of my favorite courses near Louisville
The best public course in Kentucky
Absolutely the best public course in the Louisville area. Awesome layout and it is always in great condition.
Beautiful golf course with a very good layout. Greens and bunkers are in bad shape! The green fees are a great value! Maybe even to cheap....
Great course, great value. Our top go-to course in the area
I'll bet it's great when it isn't cold and raining. Nice staff!
Love this golf course.
Excellent course and friendly staff. It's very spread out and scenic. Nice driving range too. $5 for 50 balls. They also have a great pulled pork sandwich in the club house and a nice patio to enjoy it on.
It is very beautiful.
Great course. Zoisia fairways. Greens always slower than they look.
Nice course
Very nice golf course. We'll maintained. Very challenging with a good variety of hole layouts.
Pretty good shape for march!
Best public course in the state.
Very beautiful course where we hosted a scramble. The facility was well kept and helpful in coordinating our large group of golfers. Worth the drive out there for a nice round of golf.
I came to the Louisville area for work ... The weekend kept me over and the Google machine directed me here to Heritage Hill ... The golf course is amazing, but even better, the humans that work and reside here are even better. The people are so awesome, and they're awesome without any of the golf pretentiousness non-sense you can find at some places. They're engaging, friendly, and helpful, not to mention the ladies being drop dead gorgeous. The golf cart woman, as well as the woman at the bar, who I think lives on the course, (lucky) are both runway model beautiful....But they don't act like it so that makes them incredible in everyway. I highly recommend this wonderful place to any who are considering a round here.
The back 9 is beautiful
Best course around!!!
Wonderful course! Been here twice for my daughter to play in a tournament and it's always in great shape! Can't wait to get time to play it myself.
Love this beautiful challenging course, greens had been punched couple weeks ago so they were little rough today...but they discounted the green fees a little..
Loved the layout and the scenery. Greens were fast and in great shape.
Great layout, slow bumpy greens and pace of play is awful.
Very beautiful course where we hosted a scramble. The facility was well kept and helpful in coordinating our large group of golfers. Worth the drive out there for a nice round of golf.
Terrible customer service. A friend went to their web site, presses “call,” and made reservations for eight of us on the 2nd of Aug. I had to talk them into trying the course, and at the time I was not sure why that was true, but I learned. When we got to the course we were told we had not tee times. There was no, “I am sorry” or “Let me see what I can do” just “You must have made a mistake.” I asked to talked to the general manager and was told he was in a tournament (that I later learned ended the day before, within commuting distance). I asked for his contact info and was told they were out of business cards, but another customer showed me the stack of cards on the counter. I called the next day (a Saturday that they had the local club championship) and was told he was off but would be in the next day. I called on Sunday and was told, by Jacob, that the manager, Mike McDade, was on the course but would call back. That was five days ago and I have not got the call. I later learned from my friend that this was the third time that tee times had not been honored. This might be a great course but, since I did not get to play, I will never know. However, their customer service is non-existent.
Beautiful Golf course. Great layout. My one disappointment was how beat up the greens were!
Love this course. A little pricey and out of the way but is very well set up.
Enjoyed my round there this morning. Beautiful fairways. Most greens we're well maintained. The course layout isn't overly demanding for any skill level. I recommend giving it a try!
Beautiful course at a great price. Only complaint I have are all the ball marks on the greens.
Cart path only was rough by the time we made it to the back nine. Beautiful course.
beautiful coarse! tons of wildlife! so peaceful

Best place to play golf
Loved the experience. They were able to get us out despite the fact that we hadn't made a tee time. It's a beautiful course - very picturesque. The sand traps were a little hard packed and the greens had quite a few ball marks that …
What could be.... Positives: Incredible layout and super friendly staff. Negatives: The golf course is just not in very good shape. 4 times playing here and it never seems to improve. Inconsistent turf length in the fairway, some tee boxes hadn’t been mowed in a while, inconsistent green speeds, greens are not well maintained, bunkers inconsistent, some have sand some don’t, no beverage cart service (we played on the weekend) The bottom line is that is that the course is not worth the drive or green fees.
Really nice golf course!!
Great course. First time playing. Challenging but not so hard you can't enjoy it. Fairways and green are exactly how they should be. Greens roll true and fast. Customer service is great too. From the cart girl to the pro shop, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Has a putting/chipping and driving range. Beautiful landscape and scenery on the holes you will not be let down. Will definitely be back. The only reason I have 4 stars instead of 5 is they don't have gps. They have plenty of yardage markers but for that price range you would think they would have that but overall love the course and service.
Played the course on Friday 5/4/18. It was in great condition and the staff was very friendly. The routing of the course was very easy to follow, the greens were in great condition, the fairways were well documented for yardage reference. Highly recommend this gem, looking forward to getting back to Louisville and playing this course again!
What a nice course.
Pretty course without all the hype. Had a small scramble there & it was great. 4 stars because it needed more portable facilities especially for women
Great golf course
Does not give to support LOCAL community.
Spectacular scenery, worked with wonderful people, and,.... I was the shaper that began land forming for MidAmericaGolf
Very nice coarse. Beautiful setting
Played the course on Friday, May 6. The round took us six hours and twenty minutes. Yes you read that correctly, six hours and twenty minutes. There was a group ahead of us that apparently was from a company in town for the Kentucky Derby. They had, I believe four groups total, they completely tied up the entire course. At one green they were posing for pictures while three groups waited on the tee for them to clear, unbelievable. Complained to the ranger who stated he told them to skip a hole and they told the ranger they would speed up. He should have tossed them off the course. After the ordeal was over we complained to the person in the pro shop who looked to be just out of high school, as the course pro was not at the course. Our complaints were met with indifference. We suggested a rain check for nine holes of golf and was told "if I do that for you I will have to do that for everyone". As we were leaving one of the young men taking care of the carts told us that group had played there several times during the week and it was always the same thing, slow round that took six hours, so the course knew of the problem but didn't care to address the problem. Doubt that I will ever play the course again, I am not going to waste my money on a course that has such poor customer service. The least they could have done was offer us a sleeve of golf balls. Truly an unbelievable and torturous experience. My lasting memory will be the 18th tee box, one group on the green having a picture taken, one group in the middle of the fairway, and four groups on the tee box just waiting.
Loved the experience. They were able to get us out despite the fact that we hadn't made a tee time. It's a beautiful course - very picturesque. The sand traps were a little hard packed and the greens had quite a few ball marks that patrons didn't repair well. We really enjoyed the day. The staff were all very polite and helpful.
Beautiful wedding. Hope to play golf on that beautiful course some day
I played this course on Friday, May 6. The course was beautiful and well-maintained but the experience was miserable. The round took 6 1/2 hours to play which, for a course of this quality, is outrageous. There were several groups (4 to 6) on the course from a foreign country that were all related to each other. They were accompanied by a young man flying a drone and a photographer who took pictures of players on the greens after completing several of the holes. This group was, apparently, having some sort of 'tournament' and held up play on every hole. The ranger passed us several times and said that this group had been on the course every day of the week and conducted themselves the same way and that there was nothing the course could do about it. Upon completing the round, we went to the clubhouse and complained but were informed that they were sorry but there was nothing they could do. We were made to feel like the bad guys for having complained. The experience was MISERABLE.
Love the staff, taken care of our future golfers. Golf camp this week! Learning respect, of the one who is getting ready to hit, not stand in someones line or cast a shadow and integrity. Leaving the coarse better than we found it. Repairing the divots. Filling holes with sand.

Beautiful course that was in very good shape even though the greens had recently been aerated. Very friendly staff and nice practice facility. One hole was closed for repair, but it looked like it would be open soon.
Great track, well-maintained. Friendly staff
Always a great time on a beautiful course, but this is the third time in a year that we've been started on the back nine for no apparent reason. This course is best presented in order. Still one of my all time favorite courses.
Nice course
The course is in great condition. The fairways are immaculate and the greens are true. A few tee boxes need a little bit of work, but nothing major. The tees just need to grow in a bit. Great course for the price, it almost has a country club feel to it.
Played this course few weeks ago on a golf trip and what a treat. Staff was awesome for our group of 8. We played 27 to kick of the trip. Prices we very reasonable and course was in great shape, even with the rain we had. Highly recommend this track.
Such a beautiful gem nestled into Bullitt county. Gorgeous course with a great backdrop.

Like to PLAY this course when I can. Price is high for me but worth the trip.
One of the better public courses in Louisville area.
I have been a member there for four years. Great track and the course is usually well manicured. Despite what another reviewer said, course drains well. If there is significant rainfall the day before, then it might be cart path only in the early spring or late fall. This year's weather has been challenging for the grounds crew, but course is still in good shape.
I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW ECSTATIC I WAS WHEN I PULLED UP TO THE PARKING LOT. I AM A 3 HANDICAP AND LIVE IN LEXINGTON KY. I AM WRITING IN CAPS BECAUSE THIS COURSE DESERVES IT. I HAVE PLAYED JUST ABOUT EVERY COURSE IN KY INCLUDING VALHALLA AND THIS COURSE FOR THE MONEY IS EVERY BIT AS NICE AS VALHALLA. I BOOKED A TEE TIME ON GOLF NOW FOR 24$. THE FAIRWAYS WERE CUT LIKE A PGA COURSE ALL THE BUNKERS WERE CUT PERFECTLY AROUND THE EDGES. IMMACULATE WILL MAKE THE DRIVE AGAIN AND AGAIN UNTIL I MOVE TOO FAR AWAY. TAKE MY ADVICE AND PLAY THERE EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO DRIVE 2 HOURS. THIS IS BY FAR THE NICEST PUBLIC COURSE I HAVE PLAYED ON IN MY LIFE AND DEFINITELY IS NICER THAN ANY COURSE IN KENTUCKY. A MUST PLAY A++++
Great views, fun course!

Beautiful golf course in tremendous shape. Well done HHGC!
Can't wait to play there again, beautiful, greens, fairways, super!!
Great course
Beautiful public course, great shape , fast greens . Well worth it to play here.
Great manicured and challenging golf course with stunning views.
Well maintained and laid out course. One of the few really good courses in the immediate area. Slightly pricey, but generally worth it
Beautiful course, many scenic vistas, fairway in great shape, nice greens, very good driving range and practice greens, staff was friendly.
Such a beautiful gem nestled into Bullitt county. Gorgeous course with a great backdrop.
I always playing a round here when I visit Louisville. I accidentally gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The staff is always friendly, and I do not feel rushed through my round.
If there were more stars I would give them. One of the best courses we've played. Every tee box we were treated with a beautiful view. The course is extremely well maintained and the fairways are beautifully striped. The staff is excellent. Can't wait to come back up here and play again.
Beautiful course, a little expensive
I really like this course but for the price it holds water like crazy. If it rained the day before expect a swamp. If it's dry its great but you will need several days of no rain for this course to be dry.
Great golf course.
Beautiful course and great people always a food experience
Nice course for the money
Great course, guaranteed to love it
