Great Fairways comprised of zoysia grass. The staff is always really nice. My only complaint is the greens. it does appear they are redoing sand traps and I'm sure at some point greens will be addressed but overall this is a really good course.

We visit Burnside's State Park 3 or 4 times a year, the staff has always been friendly and helpful. Overall the shower and restrooms are well maintained by the staff. My biggest complaint is the other camper's who trash the facility [trash and cans in fire pit and site's] then complain about the park staff.

I have always loved Burnside campground. They really need to maybe put a putt putt golf in. Offer the kids something more and have younger adults doing the activities. There is so much land here they could really do alot more in the campground area.

didn't get to golf but sal a lot of golfers , they seemed to be enjoying themselves a lot , lots of carts access to playground area and lots of space

The golf course was beautiful. The day was a little windy but they were several people out golfing. The folks were so friendly and helpful. This will be a great place to kill a few balls and if your like me maybe even lose a few! This is a must for all the golfers out there.

Nice course, well kept. Came with a group and the weather looked less than favorable. Attempted to play only 9 with fear we would get rained out. Guy at the counter said it looks good and it’s gonna go north and insisted we go ahead and do 18 with confidence. Well hole 7 started pouring and by 9 we were soaked. Attempted to get reimbursed for the back 9 with the coming weather looking less than favorable. Guy said the government won’t allow them to do refunds, but we can have a rain check....? We are almost 6 hours from home man. Better believe I won’t come back. $31.50 for 9 holes and a cart. Total rip off. If I was a local, no problem. But come on, I paid cash. It’s not about the money, it’s the principal of doing the right thing.

First, course was great! Good layout, really fun to play, greens were excellent. Now, woman in pro shop not as fun. Really not wanting to deal with us, as she was more interested in the UK basketball game. We got done with 18 at 4pm, wanted to get 9 more in, we drove 3.5 hours to golf here, lady told us there was not enough time before the carts were due back. I guess when your in the middle of nowhere, you don't need that extra revenue. The next time I drive 3.5 hours to Kentucky to golf, I will go to dale hollow, where Ron will bend over backwards to make sure you have a great time. Good enough course to go back, but the staff drove me away.

Best course in the area. Have yet to play either local country club course, but can't imagine them being in any better shape. Also approx 600 yds longer than the 2 country club courses. Staff always very friendly!
