I practiced out here one time and automatically became a better player. It teaches you to hit out of (backyard) grass, beach sand and hard pan. The ultimate experience for any short game wizard. Bring all of your skills to the table as Crosswinds will demand of it!

Used to be a nice course... grounds crew has really kept it sub in the last couple of years (and not just Crosswinds, but the all of the city owned courses). When it's manicured correctly this is a fun and beautiful course to play but it is EXTREMELY overpriced, especially for a municipal course.

I golfed here on 4/28/15 and the course could use some work. I liked the layout of the holes and the greens were in pretty good condition (8/10) but the tee boxes and fairways had too much dirt and weeds to my liking. If the course would fix these two issues I would give them a better rating.

It's not a country club, but as a municipal course it's pretty darned nice! Often I opt for one of the other two municipal course because I golf on a budget, but this one is a treat to play every now and then. It offers the longest holes on any of the three municipal courses, and includes water hazards, which isn't found on either of the other two.

This is a short, fun golf course that is in very good shape. It's not a hard course, but very fair without gimmicks. The course was in great shape, and a very friendly staff.

I tried to tell ypur Parks n Recreation Director, twice, and I 've left comments on here once, warning you at this particular course...that Crosswinds/ City of Bowling Green had hired a known pedophile. No one wanted to hear it. Well you'll hear about it now. He'll be brought up in front of the Grand Jury in BG in about 2weeks on several charges. Swing on that that

Nice public course...played here in a company golf scramble and the course did a great job running the scramble. Accuracy is the key at this course at the fairways are small and the greens are even smaller. Greens seem to be very slow as well but rolls pretty true. There was some inconsistency on some greens....some hard and the ball wouldn't stop...the next would plug almost like a fairway. Enjoyed the outing and this course...proshop and facilities were nice as well. Nice place for a stop in and play as well.

This is second year that I have played this course and have NOT been impressed with the course for the $$ you pay. The fairways, greens and sand are very hard. The greens have been damaged with parts of the green surface missing. The carts have no protection from the elements for your clubs. The carts also lack power. When I was pushing a foursome of members, they were not only slow but hesitate to allow you to play through. The staff appears not concerned about your customer satisfaction with their course, equipment or members. I will NOT play Cross Winds Golf Course again. I can pay the same amount of money at other courses that have pride in their course and your playing experience.

The layout is good, but the course lacks upkeep from time to time. The biggest issue is the price, this has become the most expensive public course in BG and it isn't worth the cost.
