It was pretty nice for the first time being out there, tee times got a little congested and took three hours just for the front nine. Other than that it was in great shape.

The fairways and greens were in really good shape. The only question I've got is they've got reserved parking for combat veterans Purple Heart winners but they don't offer military discount not sure how I feel about that. Overall it was really enjoyable.

We’ve had multiple bad experiences on this course. The way they run things is a joke! The way the ranger basically told my husband (not me) that he thought it was about time “she” picked up her ball, was a serious insult! Don’t over pack your course and then expect everyone to be a professional. He sat and babysat us on hole 4 until I just stopped playing. My husband ( who is a very good golfer) was very upset as well and even though the shop gave him an 18 hole raincheck for me since I only got to play 4 holes, we won't be back to use it. We actually gave it to someone else. The only upside was the amazing gentleman we ended up joining with ( to help make things go faster). My husband found a new golf buddy to take to a different course. Where they actually mean what they say when they say golf is for everyone. This course ruined a fun outing!

This was my first visit to Connemara. I don't know if we got an early bird discount, but the cost was nearly half what I expected (based on internet pricing). The gentleman in the shop was professional and friendly. The grounds were very well maintained. It is a beautiful course with a variety of looks. I will undoubtedly come back multiple times.

Ever since Alltech (the owners of Kentucky Ale as well) bought the course, they have pumped millions into it. This course was a cow pasture before that and now the up keep is much better. There are two issues I have with the course; the layout and the number of trees being planted in the course. The layout is WEIRD but it won't change as that will literally cost millions. I don't understand why they've planted so many trees, this is a links style course and they seem to be heading away from that. Overall, its a course with a reasonable price, good upkeep and easy to play.

This is a challenging course for a lower skill level golfer like myself (the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five). Of the first four holes, three are decent-length par fives, so come ready to play, right from the first tee box. The course is quite pretty, offering rolling fairways, some water features, and challenging greens. It is in great shape right now, so if you're thinking about trying it, now would be a good time.

The course is owned by a brewery enough said. Nicest club house around that I've played at. Very well maintained with reasonably cut ruffs so you can at least find your ball. I will be back.

Beautifully laid out and challenging. Very fast greens! For first-timers, it can be a bit confusing. They could use more signage on the course and also yard markers. The clover was rather high for a Saturday afternoon and didn't see any grounds keepers anywhere. It was $38/person with a cart. Thought that was high for the offering. Still the nicest course around but I may not return again soon.

The course has come a long ways from what it used to be. Probably has some of the best bunkers in Lexington. I will say this much I got a hole in one almost 4 weeks ago and after being promised it being in the paper the next day by the manager Trey it did not show up. I checked the paper for a week straight still no sign. I called in and spoke to Trey again and he promised it would be in the paper the next day. Now a almost a month later still has not shown up. Completely unprofessional. I happened to run into Colt Messer at an outing yesterday and he promised to take care if it immediately. If you need any questions answered or anything taken care of go find COLT MESSER. This morning just as promised he followed me up, i didn't have to follow him up that is Professionalism if you ask me. My money and anyone elses money is just as good at any other course in town, but its how you treat people that brings you back. Would highly recommend Colt and promote him to management on any golf course.
