Good golf course with great views of the area. Enjoyed playing a course of this caliber and played well for my talent level. A couple of the greens were a little tricked up but a beautiful golf course. Outside staff were good but the young clerk in the pro shop needed a ton of help understanding customer service! Play this course but also play Sultan's Run which I believe to be as good if not a better course and the customer service was second to none!

Located just two miles southwest of the French Lick Springs Hotel you'll find the resort's Donald Ross course. This well-rated and always popular layout gets away to an excellent start, with the elevated first tee providing an inviting view over much of the front-nine. A mosaic of undulating fairways, striped grassy rough, a light scattering of mature trees and open fescued terrain is all laid out before you.

Played a 18-hole tournament with the Porsche Club and had a great experience. Clean facilities and beautiful landscape. Friendly staff and courteous groundskeepers. The food provided was also very good and the servers were excellent. Would love to play at this course again.

This course was amazing! from the time I drove into the parking lot until the time that I left, I was made to feel welcomed and it was obvious the service was genuine. My father and I played here in Spring 2016. This is such a great escape from the normal golf course in America. It was very hilly and the greens had great characteristics. If you played a longer hole, the fairway was always easy to play off of; if it was a shorter hole you might have an uneven lie to test your wedges and shot-making. They have carts but it is pretty walkable. One negative; they don't have a driving range.

On the Par 5, my drive landed on the cart path and rolled close to the green. I chipped it on and 2 putted. That was very exciting. The staff were very nice. The course was fun to play.

Great golf course. Solid design, not a gimmicky modern course. Wicked fast greens with lots of undulations. Can play very long, lots of appropriate tees.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff at the golf facility and dining room. The golf course was challenging and classic Donald Ross layout and greens. The fairways are nicely shaped but with some spotty area of thin grass. Greens are quick and challenging. Only drawback was multiple unrepaired ball marks on many greens.

Wow - super track. Amazing conditioning and challenging layout. Not a flat lie anywhere but tee boxes, which isn't fun for everyone but I enjoy it. Greens have some really hard slopes so I'd love to play this course a few times and use them. Service was also very good.

The course is very pleasant to look at and the greens are SLICK which I really liked. It is a very challenging course and you really need to know where you're hitting it as far as lines of sight go. The greens were not only slick but PURE. The one shortcoming was the fairways. As good as the rest of the course was the fairways were this bad. There were spots in the fairway that were VERY THIN and spotty on every hole. I don't know if they aerated them recently but it look as if they ran a disk or something over them. One thing that kind of stunk also was that they didn't have a driving range on site. TO hit balls before your round I guess you had to go to the Pete Dye course down the road. Overall I was very pleased with the experience (though not my play). The service was great and I enjoyed the speed of the greens I just wish the fairways were in much better shape.
