Great course, clean, affordable, first 2 holes short but can be challenging not a lot of hazards but can be challenging with trees. Loads of fun with great staff. Great learning course. Or just relaxed day.

Just finished a round at Thatcher. Holes 1-3 are nothing to get out of your seat for but 4-9 are fun and somewhat challenging without a multitude of hazards. Prices and staff are some of the best around. Oh yeah...cheap beer too.

This course is a great 9 hole course. Great looking golf holes. Well kept greens and fairways. Plush, challenging, great layout. highly RECOMMEDNDED. Best nine hole course you will play. Compares to the upper end 18 hole courses!

Who ever gave this course a four star or better either, has never played a real golf course or is family or friends with the owner. The fairways are in terrible shape and the tee boxes are in even worse shape. The guy working behind the counter was nice, but overall this course is on par with White Lick Golf Course. If you're looking for an inexpensive nine hole course I would recommend Buffer Park or Zionsville golf course both of which are significantly better.

Great 9 hole course to bring our two Jr Golfers. Challenging enough to work on all our shots and club selection. Family friendly and staff is nice. Highly recommend.

This is another overhyped goat Ranch... it might work if you have nowhere else to play... Nothing else to do excluding watching paint dry... But all in all not that great of a place to play golf... The staff is cool but most staff that's golf courses are pretty cool there just mostly retired individuals. I can't fault them...

Nice course, close by and priced good for 9 holes walking. If you are lucky you can see the eagles in their nest.

I have lived in the area since 2007. Used to play golf all the time until I moved to Indy. I drive past the course everyday on the way to work. Got the groupon and went with my buddy. Awesome. Cost is great for the course even at normal rates. My girlfriend came with us to watch, not to play, and he gave us an extra cart because he was feeling nice I guess. Very generous. I think it is time for me to start playing regularly again. At Thatcher.

Lot of trees, but a lot more forgiving than it appears. I'm a beginner and I feel I can learn a good amount about the game from this affordable, nearby course.

Greens were in great shape - otherwise it’s essentially a field with lots of mature trees and crab grass. The fellow in the pro shop was very nice which was a plus. We all know pro shops can be tended by snobby pros, or snot nosed teens. Don’t expect a well manicured city course after simply seeing the avg google rating is 4 stars.
