Great course. Always in excellent condition. Great layout. Every hole is different. Friendly staff. My favorite course in the area. Would be 5 stars if it were about $10 less. With that being said, I've never been disappointed after paying at the pro shop.

Sultan's Run, rated 4-1/2 stars. is a championship layout that ranks with some of the best in Indiana. This tree-lined and open parkland course provides a wonderful test for your all-round game, with many attractive, skilfully crafted and challenging holes to enjoy. The course offers a tremendous parkland environment, with rolling hills, wonderful bunkering and a waterfall behind the 18th green. A must play if you are in the area.

Absolutely gorgeous golf course in excellent shape with a friendly staff. You must be in good shape to play there due to a lot of walking and uphill and downhill lies as well...even to get to and from most greens which are extremely faaaast!!!

Pretty expensive for the condition it was in 5-29-2018. Amazing layout, if you've never been there you must play it. Hope the grass grows in soon before we come down again. Greens were not smooth today, not bad speed. Seemed a little shaggy but that helps for the down hillers. You won't find a better layout in Indiana. Not too tricked up. Kinda tough the first time around if you are not playing with someone who knows the course. Wish I lived closer!

Holy smokes what a beautiful golf course AND it is quite affordable, too! Only had the opportunity to play 9 holes, but what we did play was very well maintained, challenging and overall a great experience.

Have played the course many times and have had no complaints about anything. It’s an amazing challenging course with awesome scenery but played there again tonight and the lady working was extremely rude to our group. Very disappointing considering we love the course.

Sultans run is a very nice golf course. Well kept and player friendly. Green fees are a little pricey but is well worth it. They take your clubs put them in your cart and give you instructions on your play. One of the nicest golf courses in the tri-state.

If u love golf and you want a course that will test your golf skills, then Sultan's Run is definitely a course u need to play more than once, the scenery and the layout of the course is unbelievable, in the late evening you can see deer walking through the course,the zoiasya fairways are in great condition, the entire course is in great shape, the people in the clubhouse are very friendly, shout out to Larry, great guy!!! So if u are in the Jasper area and u play golf, Sultan's Run is a must play, don't be intimidated by the course, relax enjoy the day, take in the views, and the design of this course, swing smooth and easy, and have fun!!!

Excellent Championship caliber golf course located on rolling southern Indiana hills. Course condition is always a pleasure to play. Two picturesque, signature holes, 12 & 18, add to the pleasure of the experience. Bundle Sultan's Run with the French Lick course, and the Santa Claus course for 3 days of adventurous golf in southern Indiana.

This is a great layout and the conditions are terrific. This course has you using every club in the bag. Plenty of elevation change and a variety of doglegs. A bit remote, but being away from a metro area has it with little traffic and a steady pace of play.

Played yesterday since we were in the area to play the Ross course at French Lick. Played twilight $35. Best deal in town "hands down". Pro shop staff very nice. Buy one of there poker chips with the ball marker. Got to the first tee and the winds were blowing 30-40 mph. We decided to play since we were on our way back from Fla to Chicago. Very wet,cart paths only, and aerated greens. I was thinking that we weren't going to finish 3 holes without quitting. This course might be the best layout I've ever played. The course is tough but fair. All I can say is that we will be making the drive back down in late spring or summer to play it again. Do yourself a favor and check out this course.

Underrated course near French Lick Having played the Pete Dye and Donald Ross courses at French Lick the two days prior, I had really low expectations of this Sultan's Run course. It may not have the big name associated with it, but what it lacks in status, it makes up in condition and beauty. This was by far the most well-maintained course of the three with gorgeous fairways (DR was hacked to bits and a mess). The woods backdrop and undulating fairways made for a challenge with a view and I'd 100% recommend this to any golfer. The waterfall on 18 was the icing on the cake.

One of the prettiest golf courses in the three state area. The greens are fast but receptive and the fairways are beautifully cut and plush. This is a well manicured course with every hole shaped into the scenic Southern Indiana hills. The pro shop is well stocked and even though the ham sandwich is wrapped in cellophane, it's made the way your grandmother used to make it with real baked ham. Keep it in the fairway any way you can, and be ready for fast greens.
