Actually visited the disc golf course, a lot of work went into this course after an infection took out many trees but the course was expanded into the woods to make a full 18 hole course and it turned out great.

Boring layout, overcrowded, too expensive for what you get. I warn you, do not go out on the weekend and expect to be done in under 4.5 hours. My last 18 hole round on a Sunday at 9:00am took 5.5 hours to complete...

This is a great golf course for the value. Fairways are well maintained and the greens are fast and roll true. There is a wide variety of holes some hard some not so much. If you are looking for a fun course to golf on this is it. If your looking for Pokemon, why?

I have played at Sahm Golf Course for over 20 years and it remains one of my favorites today. My children started playing golf there so my whole family plays there now. It is very playable for the beginner as well as challenging for the avid golfer. The course gets a lot of play but somehow the grounds crew keeps the course in great shape. The Pro Shop staff are all great people and will always treat you right. The price is right and you wont find a more enjoyable place to play golf.

I have played golf at Sahm for almost 10 years and I love it. I love the people that work there and the people that play there. I do not like, however, all the pokemon players bashing a GOLF COURSE for not allowing them to walk around on their property. How self centered can you be to get mad and call the news station to report rude behavior when you are the ones trespassing. Not one of you thought to ask for permission to come on their course. Instead you do whatever you feel YOU should be allowed to. And I' not talking about just kids either. Grown adults blatantly driving by signs that tell them they are not allowed to come on the course, drop their kids off and let them wonder. This is a business first and there are REAL people that run the place, with REAL lives affected by the comments people have been posting online. They did everything they could to try and work with the pokemon fans creating a night for them to come walk all over the course and collect fake prizes. But because of several cowards that hide behind their computers bashing the people that work there because they don't understand the liability a business takes on when they allow non paying customers on their property, they now have cancelled the event. You pokemon players have only yourselves to blame. Sahm did not ask for pokemon to be on their course but it's there. It's up to you all to figure out how to get what you want with being disrespectful. You're not customers so don't shout out poor customer service. I've always said, "you want good customer service, be a good customer". That goes for any business, not just Sahm. So pokemon players, work on becoming a customer first, then you can complain about poor customer service. You don't like that they responded in a negative way on Facebook? Grow up! People get stern talks all the time. Everyone of us has a breaking point and you all found theirs. So if you are and actual GOLFER enjoy the well kept course. If you're not? Well your opinion doesn't really matter anyway.

Great golfing for the price. Some staff were impolite and rude. We we're rushed off the green on our last hole just so the closing guy could lock up the carts and leave as quickly as possible. Seriously? The guy couldn't wait 5 minutes so my friends could finish our game.

played here in a 3 some on a monday morning. the dryest summer in history yet the course was in great shape if you can stay in the narrow fairways. very green and thick . the fairways are quite narrow and have trees lining them . there are plenty of nice fairway bunkers. greens are pretty flat but nice . lots of small bumps in the course but no significant hills. only 2 par fives and a few par 3s , most holes are average far 4s. problem is that with all the public patrons, most of which are in NO HURRY, it does run slower than usual. higher end carts instead of the unsual junky ones. good driving range , also narrow. the price should be about $25 with a cart for 18 so the price is a touch high but still worth playing here. no cooler allowed so be sneaky if you plan to drink. overall, maybe a 7 out of 10

I came to the driving range at 4PM today and I had the unfortunate pleasure to be scolded publicly for my terrible slice. I am not a golfer, and I make no excuses for it. My swing was strong but cut heavily at times to the right, either hitting the fence or on one occasion made a ball through the fence. The attendant, mid 60s white male, came out, watched a few swings and then proceeded to lecture me on my swing as if I were intentionally trying to land balls on the adjacent fairway. Instead of quietly pulling me to the side and showing me the posted rules and having a polite word with me he found it much more appropriate to just stand 10 ft away from me and tell me that I could be asked to leave if I keep hitting balls that way. I made it clear that I am no golfer, that I'm simply out here practicing but he offered no apologies, no quick tips to correct my swing, only a threat of expulsion. My explanation doesn't do the situation any justice, but it wasn't until a random gentleman at the driving position next to me approached me after the fact to state his displeasure at the way the manager handled the situation that it dawned on me how rude this employee was. He proceeded to, at his own volition, to give me much appreciated tips and was all around a class act. Thank you Dan! Great guy, probably a regular. The range itself had a short distance to the barrier on the right side, short enough for a novice like me to consistently hit it. Driving positions were ok, flimsy astro turf. My biggest issue is with the customer service. This should be a safe place to better my swing, a place were I should never feel shamed for my inexperience, a place were maybe the attendant could maybe even help me out, but instead I was singled out, as if no one else was hitting the barrier, and publicly scolded. Next time, address any offenders privately, and walk them over to the posted rules and make it clear that it wasn't personal.

Sahm is a pretty decent public course on the north side of Indy near Carmel and I think actually located in Fishers. Course in good shape, prices are in-line, I think it's fine. I play there a few times per summer when visiting my parents in Indy.

Played here over the weekend with a golfnow deal for $31/18 holes with a cart. I say that's the fair price for this course as the normal rate is $38 before noon on the weekends which is probably based only on the location. The greens and fairways were in good shape for early May so that was nice. The course itself offers a little bit of a challenge. Only had Black, White, and Red tees available. From the white tees, the course isn't that long (plus a lot of tees seemed like they were moved up as the par 3s played shorter than scorecard yardage) with a lot of under 400 yard par 4s. Par is only 70 which I tend to not like only because par 5s offer uniqueness and there are only two of them. This course is worth trying out. For the most part there is room to miss right or left (especially on the back except for the dreaded 12th hole... too narrow an opening off the tee with OB left and right makes it nearly impossible for amateurs which leads to a back up on the tee. Overall it's a 4 star rating (maybe 3.5 stars) but my only suggestion is putting the club house closer to the parking lot/driving range. It's a quarter mile walk from the West end of the parking lot to the club house.

Sahm Golf Course is BY FAR my favorite course. I play there every weekend, and try to sneak a round in on Friday if I can get work off. Between the friendly staff (especially the head pro) and the reasonable rates, its a great place to play. Especially for beginners, as it isn't overly complicated. Except for hole 12, which is just almost impossible! I love Sahm's!

Ok, so this course's reputation is that of a moped. A lot of fun to ride but you don't want anyone to see you on it. Seriously this course is in GREAT shape and a lot of fun. Short course with open spaces and the greens have no break so it's good for your self esteem. You should have no problem cutting 5 - 10 strokes off your regular game. Play the black tees if you actually have a handicap. They pair you up on busy days and it can get slow but I've never had a bad experience with the golfers I've played with.

One of the few public courses in the Carmel/Fishers area. The course has seen better shape, tee boxes and cart path are in poor condition but you have legs, might as well use them. Friendly staff, let me stay past closing time to finish the front nine. Course is known for slow players like myself, so do your part and let fast golfers play through.

This review is more or less about my experience near the grounds and in response to 'Douglas Arington' who posted about a week ago from my post. Screw you for thinking that every Pokemon Player is trespassing. I live up around Sahms Park and I work off Corporate Drive and walk to work. Before I even started playing Pokemon Go, I was asked to get off Sahms "property" when I was walking along side the road to work. When i asked why i had to get off the side of the road to walk to work, they responded with the statement of "we don't allow people to play Pokemon Go on our property." I was on the outside of the fenced course walking, and they told me I had to get off there property! So the problem isn't Pokemon Go players, the problem is the disrespectful employees and management! What if I was hit by a car, because I wasn't allowed to walk along the side of the road in the grass. Now, that I play Pokemon Go, I have noticed every other business, for the most part, in the area has embraced the game. Due to the fact they know it will bring in more business! It was nice for Sahms to originally offer a hunting night for Pokemon Go players, but since then it was canceled due to complaints of having to pay employees, and there 'paying' customers complaining too much about people walking around the course (which is Sahms fault, not Pokemon GO). They could have simply charged a small fee to Pokemon Go Players, and I bet they would have made a good amount of cash. Look at what the Indiana State Fair did, they saw a Business opportunity to bring in more business and it worked (as I went twice this year). As I said on my Facebook post, Sahms Golfers and management, say hello to my car horn as I pass by!

So I played at this course for 3 years when I was stationed there. I enjoyed my time there every time and never had a problem with the staff here. I see everyone is upset about this Pokemon go and being allowed or not allowed on the course and how his is a public park area. So here is my thoughts first and foremost you don't want to be on a course when people are playing and any of you ever been hit by a golf ball? No I think not if you have u would not be complaining about weather or not your kids or you should be allowed to play there. Second I am willing to bet that lets say they didn't do anything or worry about policing there ground and one of your kids gets hit by a golf ball you would be the same people probably trying to sue them for not protecting their kids on your "property" and they got hurt. You talk about business around the area excepting a fad for helping their business they attempted it but just like the rest of this entitled society you all found a way to still complain because they were charging something for it because like you all said they are a business but instead you all lined up with your hand out for something free then you talk about how it is unfair to charge kids to young to have a job to pay for it? So you have the $400 to,pay for the iPhone they are using to play the game but not $20 for there game? How about you all respect other people's preference a personal space? If you owned 300 acres that was your farmland and livelihood would you,let people walk all over your crops and take money out of your pocket and food off your families tables? No you wouldn't. Lastly all the posts I have read is about at night time why are you even talking them out at night if they are so young they can't have a job shouldn't they be at home doing homework or getting ready for bed? I know the management mo and the cooperiders and I don't write this just to defend them but because I am tired of a entitled society who cries when they can't get what they want. Sahm keep doing what you are doing and hopefully I can come back soon for a round
