Attended high school girls invitational event here yesterday. Due to advice from other participants in past I called to check status of spectator carts a day before event. At 9:30 in the morning the pro shop did not answer and was told by answering service that carts were first come first serve basis which was fine. I said I was traveling quite a distance so I may bring own cart and was told that might be a good idea. Right as tournament was about to begin while 100 or more people were around I was “yelled” at very rudely by the head pro after announcements. I was admonished for having own cart and ask where I got that cart. This was from a distance. He continued to yell asking if I had paid rolling fees and then told to put it away and must use their carts. I am a 50 year old man that is a member at a country club and understand golf courses and was treated like a 12 year old that was running a cart across the practice green. This was also in front of daughter playing in tournament and was not a good way for her to start her day. I put cart away and rented one of theirs and went to discuss what had happened with the pro and was going to be polite but let him know that I called to ask and there was no answer in pro shop and operator did not say anything about outsider carts. The assistant pro stepped In while head pro was talking to a lady and told me no worries. It was not worth my time and blood pressure to sit and wait. I was extremely impressed with the course and had already told the pro from my course and a couple of friends we should play it just from the website. But that will definitely not happen now after the treatment received. I completely understand the rule of no outside carts but there is a manner of talking to people that I would expect a professional that deals with guests to have.

Categorically stunning golf course - the course should be five stars course for a public course. My only complaint, is the pace of play. We got log-jammed with 4 groups waiting behind a foursome. It's likely they were taking it way too seriously, as we were waiting very long periods of time to hit our next golf shot(s). It took us nearly 3 hours to get through the first 9 holes.

Great golf course, spread out so you rarely see other people. The Golf School of Indiana is separate and a great facility (I go to Fred) and I learn new things every time I go. Excellent instruction!

It is unfortunate this course does not allow singles to go out and play. I was looking at online tee times and there was an entire hour of open tee times. Maybe one day I will get to try this course out.

Greens were in rough shape, did not appear to be rolled as they were very bumpy, lots of ball marks not repaired, sprinklers were running on hole 8 at 2:30 on Saturday afternoon. Very disappointed with an $82 rate for the shape the course was in.

One of the nicer public courses in Indiana. Great facilities and practice areas. Tough but fair course. I think every 2nd shot is a forced carry, so pick your tees wisely. Plays very left-to-right. Nice bunkers; which is good since you will no doubt be in some.

Super rude staff. I booked a tee time but I couldn't use the online system because my wife bought me a gift card. When I got there, I asked if I could have the online price and this pro shop pga guy was super rude to me and said that was the golfnow price. I explained to him that it was the prairie view golf club website. he said it was still the golfnow platform. They didn't give me the own price they advertised on their website saying I would have to wait an hour if I booked it. I'm only going to go back to use my gift card but don't waste your time with this course. It's just okay in terms of a course. I've been to much "lesser" courses with way more courteous staff. Don't waste any of your money or time with these people

I've played here a number of times before and have never seen it in such terrible condition. Some of the greens bordered on unplayable. They should be ashamed to be charging people $80+ a round for such a torn up course.

What a beautiful golf course!!!! Conditions of fairways and greens honestly could not have been better. Greens were extremely fast and the ball ran true on every stroke. The fairways were cut so nice you got an extra 30 to 40 yards roll out on your drive. The staff was very helpful and friendly A1 service. Highly recommend if you are in the area!!!!

Talk about a great course, i have seen people reference the quality of the greens during the transition to the new superintendent. All I can say is "they are baaaaack" great shape, blazing fast. one of the top golf courses in Indiana. The pro shop team is top notch.

Prairie View should be ashamed of charging 100 dollars on a weekend with greens like those. I played yesterday 06/29/19 and the greens were slooooow, bumpy, and did I mention slow. Not worth the money. Used to be but not anymore.
