A nice course. Not a lot of room for error

I live 600 miles east of here but come back a couple of times a year. I love the way Jeff manages the course. They are consistent in green, fairway and course management. Super friendly staff. Fairly short course and no sand traps but there is plenty of hazards to make you plan your game. I know you will have fun here. Lovely little course.

Great course, they sell beer at reasonable prices and provide coolers and ice. Great hotdogs, etc..

Very fun and easy to play course, very easy to go out of bounds on a ton of the holes. Not too many hazards just a few creeks and ponds. Overall a great leisure course and a fun way to kill a Saturday

Short course but very fun to play

Like the course in the spring. Play it late summer or early fall and the greens are VERY hard to hold!!! Hit a wedge from 115 yards, bounced high in the middle of the green and continued 25 yards beyond the pin. We'll play it again next spring.

I find Cool Lake a very enjoyable golf course. Challenging but fair. The greens are always in good condition. The people who manage the course and the people who play there are always very friendly and a pleasure to be around.

The course wasn't in the greatest shape, some greens were on the small side, and it is quite hilly. Not a horrible place to play. Their Thursday special put the course fee at a reasonable price, but definitely not worth paying full weekend price.
