Beautiful golf course and clubhouse! I had a lot of fun playing out here. The course was in pristine shape, very fast greens, lots of challenging fun holes. They had a great practice facility; driving range, putting green, and chipping green. Arrowhead is a 27 hole golf course, so you have options. I played the South 9 and West 9.

I was at Arrowhead Saturday for dinner with friends. Tried the prime rib special for $20. It was absolutely delicious! Cooked just like I wanted it, medium rare, juicy with a mix of herbs pressed into the sides that gave it a divine flavor. The baked potato was served with butter and sour cream and also cooked perfectly. Plentiful fresh green beans rounded out a perfect dinner. I will definitely come again.

Warm weather: great public golf course! Well maintained, fair rates, Full pro shop with decent prices, nice staff, beautiful landscape. Cold weather: cross country ski and snowshoe haven! They have $20 full gear rentals (skis + poles + boots) and the guys running it are super courteous and well-organized. The kits they rent are always in great shape, the trails are groomed beautifully and the trails are long and varied enough to keep it fun for beginners or experts alike - there are tracks for standard X country and wide paths for skate skiers as well. All weather: the clubhouse has delicious food and great drink specials! A well kept secret in the area for sure.

Arrowhead is awesome place we We decided to go with arrowhead for the simple fact that they offered more then some of the other places that we looked at. The wedding director there was bery knowledgeable Of all of our questions and the pricing was Very reasonable for what we wanted So we decided to have our daughter's wedding there. We have started doing all be tastings for what my daughter is going to have at her wedding for food and wine And I have to tell you it was very good very well put together they went over every aspect of how the table will be sat down to how the napkins will be placed it was really really awesome The staff is so amazing and helpful in every aspect they answer all of our questions I highly recommend if you are deciding to have a wedding or function or a party to at least give this place a try Michael Roop

A beautiful venue for wedding, very elegant interior and scenic exterior. The wedding began with delicious hordourves, meat skewers, spring rolls and my favorite was scallop wrapped with bacon! The wedding hall were elegant by itself so all it needed was minimal decorations of flower petals and bouquets around. Later the hall partitions were taken out and transformed into a dining space. This took a while but when lunch reception came around, the salmon and beef were delicious. My steak was unfortunately well done and tough. But my wife's salmon was really fresh and great in flavor.

I fell in love with Arrowhead from the first time I saw it and knew it was the perfect venue for my September 30, 2018 wedding. I started planning very early, 18 months in advance, but Arrowhead was nothing but accommodating and patient with me from start to finish, despite my 5000+ questions/concerns. My original coordinator, Brittiny ended up moving in the middle of my planning process, which was a concern at first. However, the transition to working with Alexis was seamless, and I instantly felt reassured and knew I was still in great hands. I had a multicultural wedding with a belly dancing performance, a quirky ceremony, and a list of special requests. Arrowhead made all of my requests a reality, and I rarely heard "no", which was so wonderful as a bride with a very specific vision! Perhaps what I appreciated the most was that Alexis was willing to wait as long as possible to make the call about the weather, which enabled me to have my dream ceremony in their gorgeous garden space. It was perfect and so well maintained and beautiful. To say that Arrowhead made my wedding day perfect and ideal is an understatement. Our guests will not stop talking about how beautiful the venue was, how amazing the food was, and how efficient, friendly, and accommodating the staff was. There were no long gaps between courses, glasses were instantly refilled, and we felt so special and cared for the entire day. I only wish I could go back in time and relive my wedding day at Arrowhead on repeat! My budget was not huge, but the promotions and willingness of Arrowhead to work with each couple's needs allowed me to have a wedding that felt and looked like it cost tens of thousands more than I spent! I cannot recommend this venue enough, they will ensure you have the wedding of your dreams! P.S. The Nitro Ice Cream Bar is amaazing!

The grounds are very nice. The area is beautiful mostly due to the property formerly being part of the adjacent forest preserves. Also, a round is $15 less than Cantigny for about the same experience. As for the restaurant take your average sit down place in the area and add 30% to the price and there you go. If you're looking for a round of golf and a good meal afterwards you could do a lot worse. The bar was crowded so I assume it's pretty good.

Great venue for a wedding. Beautiful views of the course from the ballroom. The food was very good. The steaks were perfect, not easy to do when serving a large event, and the chicken breasts moist. The staff was extremely attentive. When one member of our table enquired about the champagne, the server returned with a bottle to show us the brand. When another asked about the cheese, the server returned with the answer. And when the bride's parents need a way to transport the flowers, the staff supplied plastic bags.

Love this place. Had my wedding reception here and the staff was beyond helpful. It was super small but they gave me a ton of attention. We had a wonderful time and my husband and I got back for date night. The food is very good and the beer and wine list is nice. Funny side story we asked our server for great IPA - he listed his 4 favorite - but only one was actually served there. At least he was honest! Just had dinner there again the other night and was so happy that we went.

Went here with my brother in law to play on a Thursday. I have played here before (long time ago) and was amazed at the course since the clubhouse was redone. The course was in fantastic shape, the staff couldn't have been any nicer and the best part? Senior rate (over $60) was cheaper than the local course I normally play! This is my new go to course and my family will be playing here soon. Highly recommend!

It was amazing how they handle the many different functions going on throughout the facility. A wedding, a prom, the conference that I was a part of, not to mention the 19th hole that was very, very lively. Food was excellent though they need to handle special diets a little better (vegan vs vegetarian, lactose intolerant, etc.) Can't wait to attend a function there again.

Kimmie is awesome as an event planner! I was working with four different venues to get information and make a decision as to where to have our baby shower. Kimmie's communication out did any of the other three with her quick email answers, response to request of photos of the room choices (i live two states away) and knowledge. I met up with co-workers after work on a co and rainy Thursday so it wasn't too busy. Service was just ok. There were times when we had to ask for service multiple times. Other times servers seemed annoyed by the table and even rolled eyes (we were not loud nor obnoxious). When I asked the server if could reccomend a red wine he said whatever you like. I ordered the nachos to share. By the time they got to the table the cheese was solid and meat cold. The chips were stale to top it off. Honestly, they were gross. This was my first and last time at Arrowhead.

Wonderful wedding venue but waitresses need improvement, they were clearly in a hurry to get the job done and go home. They were clearing dishes off tables before people were through and without asking if we were finished, no smiles, bad attitudes. I asked for a cup of coffee with my cake and was told it had already been put away. After some discussion the coffee was retrieved.

I recently hosted a Baptismal Reception for 80 guests in the East Room at Arrowhead Golf Club. The food, the atmosphere, and the view, were all exceptional. The service staff met all my needs and anticipated all my wants. The catering sales manager, Alexis, walked me through the whole planning process and guided me towards the best options for food and beverage. I recommend AGC to all my friends and family, and would return to host more events there in the future. They really care about their clients and are there to answer questions from the very beginning to the end, and even follow up afterwards to make sure everything was up to par. When I moved to Wheaton I was taken here by a friend and was surprised to learn it was a city owned golf and dining venue and not an expensive private club.The food has never disappointed us. Broad menu, good wines, and the best value with good service. Golf course is very well maintained and a nice challenge but not only for a pro. Anyone can dine or play golf here.

Great course. Challenging but playable. All the holes are NOT the same (atypical of midwest golf). Accommodations are exceptional, great lunch menu and the bar is exceptionally lively for a golf course. I will be back, and you should play here if you haven't yet. A foursome for dinner on the patio on a warm but not stormy day. Many golfers on the course, 'cuz the lot was nearly full. A sparkly personality seated us and another was there in a heartbeat for a drink order. A bottle of wine made us thirst for dinner. Loved the timing of the meal, it was just right. The patio soon was filled to overflowing, but the beat was always up. Great food that was hot and delicious has us savoring the very last of the wine in our glasses. A near perfect evening I might say.
