I like the course for it's convenience. If it's a slow day you can easily get in 9 holes in less than an hour. Also the cheapest prices around. the negative things about the course are the fairways are right on top of each other. it's not out of the ordinary to have several other golfers hitting from you fairway. Other then that it's a good course to try. the par 5 at the rear of the course is a challenge with rolling hills. you won't see the green until your on it.

The Anerican Legion is a place that gives those who are in need of a positive experience from beginning to end. We found ourselves in a need of a venue and the Legion was the only place that paid attention to our need and urgency, when every other place I called either never called back or there was nothing they could do with short notice. The scheduler juggled things around where we could have the location if we didnt mind them showing the venue to perpective customers while we decorated for our event. We were allowed to have full use of service kitchen area and staffers of the Legion are exceptional people who enjoy their job while being conscious of our situation. They were extremely professional, helpful and couteous, I would like to say, thanks and hope that the next time we need your facility it will be a more joyous occasion. Managment is terrible and drives around the course through everyone's fairways not caring what is going on and randomly jumps into holes and yells at customers in front of him to hurry up.

A small 9-hole course that has seen better days, but a great place for beginners to learn to golf, or to bring the kids along. I like it for the laid back atmosphere, no one will ever rush you to play around, there are no marshals watching your every move, there is no dress code... but I believe pants are encouraged. Most times when I play in the afternoon, we are the only ones out on the course.

It's a nice place to get in 9 holes. The staff is nice. The fairways are tight and tight together. With a slice, I found my hybrid 3 and 5 were more useful.

Absolutely terrible! As a 30 year veteran I’ve never been to a veteran sponsored facility and felt more disrespect than Post 199. The post is open to the public, been very hard for me to meet veterans here or actually veteran members. Civilians have equal or preference over veterans. Really doesn’t mater your status you receive preferential service providing you stuff the staffs pockets. I highly recommend the national American Legion evaluate the current management and decide if they meet the core value American Legion stands for. Everything the American Legion has stood for this facility has lost focus or why they exist. Recommend they be removed from national chapter.
