The private Golf Club at Black Rock is home to one of the top-rated and finest championship golf courses in Idaho. The excellent tree-lined and open parkland layout contains a wealth of wonderfully crafted, memorable and challenging holes. Positioned close to the shoreline of Lake Coeur d'Alene, but without direct lakeside holes, the course is defined by diverse terrain, featuring wetlands, prairies, wooded areas and outcroppings of black basalt rock.

Excellent golf course. Worked on the course maintenance crew for eight years and loved every minute of it but left Aug 2015. During seven of those eight years I received one $1 raise. They don't care about the employees who make that course and HOA's look good. Disgusting and classless treatment of employees not associated with the clubhouse.

Sounds like a lot of sour grapes to me - I just had (inJuly) such a fantastic time I've now taken up golf!! - in France - and saw inside several different types of houses and thought the quality of building and decoration quite superb. The club house staff, service and food were of high quality; all the golfing services from the charming pro's and the services offered were superb. The course was in great condition and very beautiful too - and now I can play (sort of !) I'd love to have the privilege of returning and truly benefitting. I think it is a very special place - and should add as a Scot - even if not a player till now - I've seen plenty of courses in my life

High brow club for trashy people. Classless members and owners. Lost about a hundred members over the last few years due to questionable legal practices. Home lots are worthless and unsellable.
