Bummed out. Went golf with some business associates todat. I had to rent clubs, they were shabby, dented but whatever. Then apparently they over book the tee sheet and let groups of 2 that were supposed to be foursome tee behind us, so the were immediately on top of our foursome. Then the "crabapple" in golf cart (golf assistant) come and remove us from the course because we are "holding up play" on the 3rd hole! and tell us we only have 15 minutes per hole. They move us to another course where we have to wait 30 minutes to tee off. Then here comes another "crabapple" parking and watching us then told us he was going to move the group in front of us along and the men in our group would have to wait because the group in front of us was too close. But that the women, my daughter and I, could go ahead and go. What a jerk! He just assumed we "women" couldnt hit that far. But by all means if you want to be barked at and listen to sexist remarks....head on out to Falcon Crest.

Always windy and usually a long round. Freedom course is unique.

If you need to get a few holes in but don't have time for a full 18, play one of the 9 hole courses (par 3 or par 5). They are a nice way to keep up on your game for a bit cheaper and not as much of a time commitment. Awesome courses all around!

$59.00 for green fees and a cart in October? That is a little steep. And as always number 18 is and always will be the worst finishing hole in the valley.

Lenny Silva

Very nice golf course, challenging but also very playable. Nice staff great fairways and greens.

Brandon Minert

Amazing course. My favorite in the valley. Course is top of the line designed and very well maintained. Great job guys.

Used to love this course, but today after having a maintenance worker literally follow us the whole round to sweep the bunkers and a lawnmower getting in our way, it'll be a long time before I golf here again. What a shame.

Great course we played freedom which is just awesome with very long holes. The staff was a little annoying we got told we were holding up a 4 top behind us. However they were a full hole behind us. The staff man followed use for 3 holes it was kind of a joke. Would be 5 stars if not for him the rest of the staff was great. I highly recommend this course just hopefully you play on his day off

Awesome staff. The two guys in the pro shop, the folks in the cafe, and the one man I ran into on the course asking about a troublesome group were all top notch. Those burgers in the cafe are excellent. I played the Freedom course twice over the weekend I was in town. 17 to walk one trip around the 9 is excellent, and 25 for two laps is as well. Unfortunately that troublesome group kept me from getting through the 18 I paid for before needing to head to the airport, so the pro shop gave me a 9 hole rain check, which the certainly didn't have to. The practice facilities are amazing as well; the biggest driving range I've ever seen and a good chipping area and putting green. I'll have to play the full 18 when I'm in town next. Adding to this review as I've now played the championship course. It's a fantastic layout with a lot of fun/challenging holes. Some allow you to just rip and grip and others require precise placement. Greens were in great shape and the fairways looked good enough to sleep on.

Very nice, challenging course with a lot of blind shots. It’s a very fun round and a great example of a course in a desert environment. Highly recommended!! Get a cart if you’re playing the championship course unless you are ready for a hike. Many of the tee boxes are a ways from the greens.

Falcon Crest is a challenging and well kept course.

I cannot tell you how much I like this course. It is a bit out of my normal budget so trips there are a treat. How ever it is oh so worth the cost ( and the drive ). Fantastic lay out, plus I always play well there. I would not worry about Ivan's review. If he had such discomfort playing that hole, he should have acted like a damn adult and skipped the hole. Look at his reviews of other things. Dude complains about everything.

I read Ivan's review and I am still laughing. No, buddy, if you hit a monster slice and smash someone's car you do have to pay for it at any golf course you play. May I suggest paying a little extra for some lessons? As for the course, it is fantastic and awesome customer service. It is challenging enough but not so much that the average player can't play here. I can't stop thinking and laughing about the review that mentioned number 18 as well. You seriously gave a bad review because you suck on a hole? Should they make hole number 18 like a mini golf hole where you putt 15 ft to the hole from the tee? Some people are unbelievable but it's entertaining. Prices are not bad at all and excellent course. Good job managing it Mike R.

NO TANK TOPS on the Driving Range?? My husband and I have been a very loyal customer here for years and spent thousands at this golf course. When being told by a young kid dressed LIKE RICKY FOWLER, and essentially being kicked off the course for attire not up to their standards I have to reconsider my loyalties. Especially when I noticed others on the driving range dressed in the same fashion......WE ARE NOT WHITE TRASH, if anything that is offensive, it is that your employees dress as untastefully as RICKY FOWLER....You little Jerk!!!!

Cable Amsden

Best golf course in The Boise area. The staff is helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The grounds are taken care of better than anywhere else I've seen. Amazing atmosphere and challenging golf!

We went as a family today, our first course after many trips to the driving range this spring and summer. Played the RobinHood 9 and had a great time. I hadnt golfed a course since i was a teenager. Best part was I EAGLED 253 yard hole 4!!!

When you first arrive, you are greeted with professional staff. They have three courses that are all designed to challenge you. Falcon crest championship course has just breath taking views. But beware, both the views as well as the course demand respect. The freedom course is a fun and challenging nine hole course that definitely demands respect. Beautiful... I have not played the robin hood executive course but some of the holes parallel the freedom course and everyone seemed to be smiling and looking for their balls. Definitely will play it before I leave. In short, awesome.....

Love this place. Course is always in immaculate condition and the staff, from the cart guys, course maintenance guys, and the folks in the pro shop are top notch. GM/ Super M. Rapp keeps this place one of the best courses here in the valley.

Richard LaCasse

First time at Falcon Crest and played the champioship course. Very Good experience. Each hole is unique and with the slope provides some spectacular challeges. Staff is great and very helpful. High recommend.

Nice golf course. The club house is minimalist however. No worries play golf here and head down the road to Boise Ranch for dinner.

waysatboise .

I love all 3 of there courses and the staff is wonderful.

This club has something for golfers of all ages. The championship course will make the best golfer think of every shot they take and how it will impact the next. The Freedom course is a go to personal favorite. The cost doesn’t break the bank and the nine holes will challenge your game. From the tips to the front tees this 9 holes never plays the same. The Robinhood is all about family fun or working the kinks out of your short game or just a a random nine holes. Lastly the practice facilities will keep your game sharp.

So I deleted my response but the fact that different people feel compelled to respond/attack me when I am giving an honest account of my experience at this course is concerning and again - an example of the overly defensive mindset that is so pervasive at this course. It is like a public course that so badly wants to be private. Matt buddy, keep laughing at people's misfortune you sound like such an awesome person. :o)

Eric Molln

Best prices, amenities, and views. Awesome course

Great place to golf! Great course and friendly staff.

We love Falcon Crest, especially the Robin Hood course for a quick round.

Steve Ashby

Just played in a best ball tournament on Saturday and hate a great time. We played the Robin Hood (short course) and Freedom (par 36) courses which made for a fun combo. Courses are new so the trees are small and there is not a lot of shade. If it is summer bring your sunscreen. Also, the Freedom course is surrounded by fields where the grow sod grass and 3 kinds of beans (at least this year, we asked a farmer walking by). Course has a lot of nice landscaping characteristics including stone yardage markers and entrance is very impressive, but you'll find the clubhouse small and limited. It is just an old farmhouse where you check-in with a very limited shop. Some tables to inside and out (nice patio) and a food trailer which I hear has good food. I'll definitely be back!

Ryan York

best course in the valley hands down. beautiful layout, memorable holes... just awesome. 16 is my favorite par 5. greens are always the fastest. and the prices are very reasonable for this gem. guys in the clubhouse are always friendly and personable. and I really appreciate the expansive practice area.
