Ok - if you want a country club experience, this is not the place to come. However, if you want a great golf course, pretty good greens and some awesome views on the back 9 - come here. It’s $75. They want you here. Caroline is awesome! She makes you feel like a local even though 75% of players are probably visitors. You can’t beat this course for the price. I played twice and finished in 3 hours and 3.5 hours. Teed off early (before 630am) and there was some traffic but it flows smoothly. The driving range is cool. They have a lot of targets set up and a couple boats and you can drill stingers right at them. The sound is cool when you smack one. All in all, this is a great course and worth the drive wherever you are on the island. I went 42/39 ... and then followed it with a 48/37 LOL! You can score here - just keep the drives playable! Hit em straight!!

Course was nice and the price was right but my rental clubs had a driver that was broken. I went in to let them know after our round that the club was broken as a heads up for the next rental. I was told they check it every time and asked why I didn't report it on the first hole. I rarely use the club so I never noticed till later. Then I was told to go tell someone else. Rude front desk staff

My husband and I love Maui Nui Golf Club... The course is great shape, the views are spectacular and the staff is very accommodating. It is nice that they offer packages and specials for playing multiple days. Can't wait to play there again when we return to Maui..

A great place to spend a day of golf, A wedding on Mauii of which we had a a wonderful experience with Mauii Nui and the great Wedding reception we enjoyed. Thaks to Kono on the greens for a wonderful meal as well as the great service the Kono girls provided. It was all first Class Thanks a million, Regards Cliff and Elsie Rose. PS THe pro shop and front staff are so great! thanks Again

Maui Nui Golf Club is a wide open, mildly challenging course. Overall it's in good shape and the price seems reasonable for the quality/location. They've recently stopped selling alcohol, so bring your own. That didn't seem to be an issue. $40 for rental clubs (without balls) also seemed a little steep but I don't often rent.

Great course with amazing views! They have great service getting you out on the course or if you just want to stop and hit balls at the driving range. Definitely try the food at Kono's after you play too. I've had almost everything on their happy hour menu and they are all great with great drink prices. I will definitely be back regularly despite my golf game not being so great.

Course is great. This course is also the best deal you can find in Maui, but make sure to read the rules on their website before you go. I have never golfed at a place before where it’s mandatory to wear collared golf shirts or have to have proper shoes. $10 for a pair of shoe rental sounds really steep, but they did only charge us for two instead of four.

Staff were UNFRIENDLY jerks. Tried to stiff us on the price. Pro shop guy was the worst attitude, followed by the starter. Course was in good condition, and a nice layout.

Played out here for while on Maui for my cousins wedding last month. The course was in fantastic shape and you get a great value for 18 holes of golf with spectacular views.

Made a tee time tuesday afternoon for 6:30 am Wednesday. When we showed up wed. morning they informed us that the greens were aireated "yesterday"...which is a huge deal. Would have been REALLY NICE to know this when I made my tee time that day. I work in customer service, this is BAD customer service. I showed up @ 6:20 excited to golf and was extremely disappointed to find out about the aireation. I live really close and probably won't go here again for awhile.

The driving range was amazing, the course layout was beautiful, and it is on an amazing property. Great view and Great course. The staff was kind and helpful as we were traveling from Colorado. We will play this course everytime we visit Maui.

Had a great instructor, David Havens, here! It was our first introduction to golf and David was a great teacher and very patient! He even gave us free clubs because he wanted us to keep practicing! As a new learner it’s difficult to pick up golf because you don’t want to invest in expensive equipment initially and David understand this. He gave us clubs so that we can practice our skills until one day when we are confident we could actually want to buy custom fit clubs. This is a great way to get your kids into golf too. Played twice. Lucked out by being paired with friendly, competent players. Staff was friendly and courteous. Course was in good shape (though one of the holes was closed). This course is a good bargain on Maui. Would play there again. One note: The first time I played, I rented clubs there, but they weren't of good quality. Second time I got a better deal on rental clubs at Maui Golf on S. Kihei Rd.

Great course! From the moment I called to moment I sat down in bar after for a beer. Top notch service, very reasonably priced and solid track. Rented clubs which performed as expected.Wind is biggest defense for course. If you want to play a round of golf in Maui and not spend an obnoxious amount... I highly recommend this place. Great golf course! It was so much fun, I played with my dad and brother from Colorado and we had the best day. The weather wasn't as good on the other side of the island but when we drove over to Maui Nui it was perfect. The guys in the pro-shop we very friendly and made our round enjoyable. I will always play Maui Nui every time we visit Hawaii.

My wife and I played the course on 1/16/16, in afternoon. The staff was very courteous. The starter encourage us to start on the back nine as a shotgun start tournament was just wrapping up and he said the back would be open. He as right as we saw one player in front of us on the 10th tee and we never saw him again. The fairways and greens were in great shape. My only two negative comments relate to the driving range and the several bunkers. Thus the reason for a four instead of a five star rating. The driver range could use a little work on ground leveling so a to imitate the tee boxes and fairways. The bunker complaint is not entirely the course's fault. I found several bunkers that had not been raked after players walked in and out leaving divots and foot prints. This is just a lack of golf ethics on the part of the players, but the course staff could reinforce the rule to golfers. I didn't see any signs or reminders for golfers to rake the bunkers as a common courtesy to the players following them. Overall, my wife and I enjoyed the round on this public course. We usually play on a private course back home in Colorado. For the price, it is a good value that we will play again on our next visit to Maui.

The cart we got was in good shape Tip: if you're taking a rider talk to the cart guy first Very friendly and will waive the $20 rider fee He also gave us a free token to go to the practice range There's a lady that drives by offering cocktails Thought it was a nice detail We went at 1pm and it wasn't busy We had a nice quiet time With our own music and booze (don't know if you could bring your own but we did) they actually have us ice for the cooler so... Haha Totally recommend for a quiet afternoon in Maui

Easy course however the flies were terrible. There was clouds of them and driving a cart was rough. The views are probably really nice on a clear day. We'll come back

wasn't too impressed this visit. Hole #6 was closed and they never told me beforehand. A couple of the greens were in really bad shape. Dirt, patched, and just plain a mess. If you don't care and want a cheaper round, well.. Ok but it doesn't stand for the price charged

I highly recommend this course!! My friends and I had a great time! Very friendly staff, nice facilities and the course is very well maintained. The restaurant has an awesome happy hour with delicious pupus!! I live here and this is the only course I want to play!

$5 round of driving range, friendly staff good practice green. We didn't do a real round of golf, so I did not know how the course was, but the place was perfect for what we needed. They also let us borrow lost and found clubs for free.

Maui Nui is my favorite course on the Island and by far the best value. The course is in great shape and has spectacular views. Golf can be expensive in Maui but there are really good specials and packages at Maui Nui. Also, with its convenient location it has the the areas best weather, I highly recommend Maui Nui Golf Club.

Me and wife bought the 7 day pass for 365 . For unlimited play. We played 4 days straight with no problem booking a tee time . Will go one more time before leaving. The staff was great and the golf course was fun with spectacular views. Love this place and will be back again at maui nui!!
