Ko Olina Golf Club, set a few hundred yards back from the beaches, coves and lagoons of the oceanside Ko Olina resort, is home to a well-rated and pleasantly testing golf course. This tree-lined and open parkland layout weaves its way between the Ko Olina resort hotels and holiday rentals, with with many attractive features in the mix. The layout predominantly offers mountain rather than ocean views.

This course has terrible golf mats at the that practice range and it feel like your hitting off concrete and I injure my elbow. It's a disappointing that you have to spend so much money almost 4 times the price to play the course. I wouldn't recommend plain this course I give it 2 stars.

Underwhelmed for the $202 fee. Greens were not tournament quality. They clearly had been punched and topped after the Lotte, but that should have been noted on the web site and discounted. Fairways were a bit dry with tight lies. We had fun, but not a good value. Not inclined to play it again.

It is real awesome!! Don't hesitate to choose. But the green is not easy at all So you'd better be cautious when you do putting. Except that, the course was great. Ah, they don't check handicap so beginners Who stay the hotels nearby come and take pretty long time to finish the game.

For the price paid, the food was not up to par. Most of the dishes were cold, except for the omelet bar. Dessert was good and all the crab to eat is great, employees were very nice and helpful. However I would not return due to the quality of the food preparation.

Nice course. Conditions are good not great. Lots or bare spots in the fairways and people do not fix pitch marks on the greens. Back nine is definitely more interesting than the front. Pace of play is about 4.5 house....not bad for a resort course.

After playing the Navy Marine golf course and treated as more of an inconvience (despite myself and everyone in the foursome being retired military) it was refreshing to being treated with some basic kindness. A+ for mostly staff, but also facility, accommodations and course condition! Well done, well worth the extra money!

A solid 4 Stars. Lack of rememberable holes takes away from the experience. The course in itself is well take care off, so conditions will always be good. Everyone very nice and and run efficiently. There are few holes the offer up a ocean view.

A quiet oasis away from busy Honolulu area. There are four lagoons and all of them are equally good. As you probably know, there is no 'private beach' in Hawaii. So, all the beaches are accessible to public whether or not you stay in their resorts! Lagoon #1 is popular and usually busy. It has less # of public parking spots. But if you go to Lagoon #4 you can find generally plenty of spots that are free. [there is a paid parking facility too]. Lagoon #4 is comparatively quiet and equally beautiful too. If you are visiting Oahu Island this can definitely be a good spot to lounge on the beach for a day or two!

First of all, people are using this review space intended for the privately owned Beach Villas to comment on other hotels within the broader Ko Olina Resort that are not the Beach Villas (note the Poor review for Marriott Beach Club because of their cancellation policy as an example). As an owner and renter in the Beach Villas, the feedback we receive is consistently Excellent for Quality, Facilities and Service. This is a 5 Star Resort in every aspect - the construction is gorgeous and tropical, grounds are pristine, the pools fabulous, the oceanfront setting is spectacular, and units are beautiful and well maintained.

Great course full of signature holes worth photographing. Open landing areas and a short course make it fun for the weekend warrior. Par threes play long which equalizes the short 4s. Play the bunkers like desert dirt, not sand, just like most bunkers in Hawaii.

Worst sand traps on the island! It's like hitting off sandstone. You would think a course so close to the beach would know how to find some sand. Plus the management refused to honor a 40 dollar coupon that was valid starting at noon when our tee time was for 11:50. Are you kidding me? In addition, they want you to guarantee your tee time with a credit card and will not refund it if you don't cancel it more than 24 hours out. Never heard of such a thing at a golf course! No wonder the place is mostly empty. There are too many nice courses on the island to waste your money here. Go to Kapolei golf course just 10 minutes down the road.

Excellent and courteous staff. Not a spectacular course layout, but is in impeccable condition. Design is very conscientious of the trade winds, and offers forgiveness off the tee. Rental clubs we're the only disappointment. Top of the line Taylor Made's, but only 12 clubs and no options for different wedges, long irons, or hybrids (longest iron was 5 iron). Better players are going to want to bring their own clubs, or rent from somewhere else that has more options, especially considering needing to play a lower ball flight. Overall, excellent experience.

My favorite course on the island. Overall, very well maintained. The sand bunkers are actual sand and not dirt death traps full of rocks and branches. Some of the fairways are decent, asthetically some areas have yellow spots, but that's only looks. Carts are super comfortable. They give 2 free water bottles. There's always a cart girl after the 4th hole. At the end of your round, they give you a refreshing towel with some peppermint(?) oil. They wipe down your clubs and give you a ride back to your car.

This place is amazing; it offers a unique menu and excellent service! Is the theme Hawaiian? Japanese? Traditional American? The answer is "yes!" Must try the Brussel Sprouts appetizer, it's a miracle how they make a disgusting vegetable taste so good. The "Trio of Treasures" gives you a taste of everything seafood if you have a hard time deciding. My husband tried a couple sushi rolls and those were amazing as well. Roy's Ko'Olina also allows the experience of a peaceful drive with beautiful views. The atmosphere overall is charismatic and the food is orgasmic. This is my favorite Hawaii restaurant experience.

Lady Hcp 22 Played 6 worse than Hcp; male Hcp 5 Played to Hcp Sydney, Australia Played Thurs 4th August 2011 Excellent pro shop lots of golf gear and accessories to purchase. Golf cart is equiped with GPS, 4 bottles of water and range balls included. Fairways wide, lots of water and greens hard and fast. Booked for the twilight rate which satrted after 2:00pm and had plenty of time to finish considering before this time price is $179.00. A pretty good saving. The course is very picturesque. Drink and food cart drives round regularly but no free water cold around the course like other venues supply. Marshalls continously drive around. After your game in the men's and ladies locker rooms there is a spa and sauna to relax in. Just a fantastic day of golf on a first class golf course.

Ko'olina ~ What a beautiful course! I let my husband play and I drive so he can focus on his game. The staff in the club house are courteous and really attentive to your needs. They know you're there and paying a pretty price so they take care of you. After 9 holes we went to Roy's. Talk about great customer service! We had so much fun. I'm going to yelp Roy's after this post. All in all, this is definitely one of my new Dave's!

Ko Olina is an excellent course very well groomed the fairways are pristine and the ball rolls a mile. I easily increased my drives by at least ten yards from what I usually hit at my home course on Cape Cod. The greens and fairways I was told are paspalum. I found them very easy to putt on as opposed to bermuda. The staff is excellent and they have a very nice driving range and practice facility.

Ive played golf across the country and other than this course is in Hawaii, its overrated, overpriced and customer service was pretty poor. Charging for range balls is absurd at any course priced @ resort prices. At best this course is average in design. Pace of play was terrible and the marshall did nothing to improve it... other than coming up to us and tell us we were two holes behind as we were standing on the tee box watching the slow group in front of us. As the sun set, another marshall came out to tell us we were not supposed to be playing golf anymore and were ignoring the request on the cart to come in (meanwhile that message did not appear until we were off the course). I live and play in Northern VA, DC area and the courses in November are in better shape than this course is currently; the greens were not rolled and ball marks were everywhere; there was essentially no sand in the bunkers and they were the equivalent of hitting off rocks. Even with the replay discount, I doubt we will play this course again and would recommend trying multiple other courses in Oahu before playing here. Im blown away any professional tour plays this course other than they have some deal with Marriott they cant get out of...
