Excellent course and great scenic views. Wife enjoyed the ride in the cart for the photos and videos she took. Via the recommended Seahorse swing deal, I played 36 holes in 3 days and 54 more on the Gold course. I like the greens better on Emerald relative to Gold since they are faster (maybe around a 9 on stimp meter). Highly recommend this course if you are in Maui and want to golf.

The Wailea Golf Club is home to three 18-hole championship golf courses, which include the highly-ranked Gold course and the also well-rated and popular Emerald and Blue courses. The Emerald course is a tree-lined parkland course that should not disappoint, with many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy. One to include on your play list if you are in the area.

Breathtaking views of the ocean from nearly every hole. The course was not overly difficult and I was expecting more of a challenge for the price, so it was a pleasant surprise that it was playable for a hacker like myself. The views, and everyone at the course were great and very accommodating for a first time visitor. It was great to get away from the beach to relax and play 18 here on Maui.

Beautiful course! Playable but definitely not easy. Fairways are pretty fair and not punishing. Greens were a little tough to read (as a bogey golfer) Staff was very courteous and helpful. Pace was good. Teed off at 3pm and finished by 620pm. We were told to bring carts back by 7pm. Plenty of water stations along the course. We only saw the drink cart once so make sure you stock up. All in all I had a great time. Thanks!

You can golf on the water at many courses in Maui, but you won’t feel as UNWELCOME as I did at Wailea. My mom was a ride along with a cooler they made us put in the car only to tell us on hole 2 that the cart lady was off at 4pm (course closes at 6:15) and she might not be able to come us. They rode around at 6:09 and made us pick up our balls after we had already teed off on the 9th hole, wouldn’t even let us finish our last hole even though there was plenty of people still on the course and technically 6 minutes until closing. Staff was rushed to get off of work and really ruined my experience. I would golf somewhere else on the island where you can experience nice views but nice people as well, anyone looking for a nice relaxing round of golf should look elsewhere.

Great course. Friendly and helpful starters and staff. Very accurate to the pin GPS on the carts. The greens are bermuda and rolled about 9 - 11. Very nice views along the course with challenging doglegs and elevation changes. Some water but not a problem. If on Maui play this course.

Absolutely beautiful course. A very fair test of golf for any level any golfer. The course is a must play for any golfer heading to maui. The views of the neighboring islands the pacific are just jaw dropping. You won’t be disappointed.

A must play course if you visit Maui. A Robert Trent Jones design that is forgiving off the tee. The greens are typically cut into three zones requiring accurate approach shots. Most of the round was played with limited wind but as the day progressed the wind became stronger. Great views the entire round with a fun par 5 finishing hole.

Played the Gold and Emerald courses. The comparison would be Emerald is more scenic as every hole is a sight to behold. Also easier which makes it more fun and playable. Gold on the other hand is just as beautiful, but also more challenging. I didn’t use much strategy or course management on Emerald, just went out there and played golf. With Gold, you may have to use your golf smarts in order to play well. All in all, both courses are incredible and has put Maui as one of my top golf destinations. Thank you Wailea!!!

Probably the finest golf Course I have even played. I play all over the world but we continue to come back Here every year. My family and I are here for 2 weeks and we have played golf at Emerald Course every single morning, with the exception of New Year’s Day etc. The service. The greens. The Course. The shop. The carts. The views. The views. The views......just absolute bliss

I played this course for the first time on Monday and I wish I had time to play it again. The course and facilities are first class, my only wish would be for the greens to be a little faster. The other aspect of this golf club that absolutely made my experience, were the staff, they could not have been any more welcoming and accommodating. Mahalo

This is an exceptional golf experience from the moment you step on the property. Great, friendly and knowledgeable service inside and out, excellent range and practice facilities, and stunningly beautiful golf that's super fun and fair. All in all my favorite Maui courses except for Kapalua Plantation. Not to be missed regardless of where you are staying.

I played both the blue and Emarald courses while in Wailea, the Emarald is much more enjoyable by far! Both courses were in great shape, even though Emarald had just been aerated. Challenging but still easily playable, would definitely go back!

I have never seen in my life a better golf course than this yet. I played the Emerald Course and it was simply astonishing. You get to have a direct view on the ocean from practically every hole. The course itself is in really good shape, very well maintained. The staff is very friendly. And when you're done playing, I strongly recommend everybody to try the restaurant they've got. Wow. The food, the waiters, the vibe, everything from A to Z was fantastic. I only have good words for this golf club.
