Not at all a bad course, just kind of average with some needed improvements regarding landscaping. The greens are bald in spots and patchy. The bunkers are gravel. Not a bad place to get a loop in, great pro shop and restaurant.

It has been a few years since I've been here and it is nothing like I remember. It was always consistent before, but now it seems like they have neglected the course. While fees are reasonable, better courses at the same price point are abundant on oahu. I was disappointed.

Easy location facility! Good amount of parking. Good size conference room for meetings and parties! I haven’t purchased food from their own golf restaurant- but I’ve tried their beef, Mahi mahi and tofu salad by attending meetings. All delicious choices!!

Been 20 years since I last played here. The tees, greens and fairways are in excellent condition the bunkers and the rough are garbage. The bunkers are a mixture of rocks, weeds and wee bit of sand. The rough is dead grass and dirt. Yeah I don’t get it either. If you can keep the ball in the fairway and away from the bunkers you will enjoy yourself.

It was my first experience. I was expecting a little more scenery and better kept fairways on some holes. Also, it would be easy for them to have a cooler or some kind of watering hole every other at least. The attendants and people at the pro shops are great and very helpful. The normal rate for non residential people is $150 before noon and $90 after noon.

Nice enough course, but currently 30 min. behind pace after 14 holes, looking at a 5+ hour round. Been waiting for every single shot, including 3 groups sitting at the teebox of a par 3. Haven't seen a course marshal all day. Called into the office to complain and was told "no open holes ahead, can't do anything about it, just a busy morning". What that indicates to me is that they've willfully overbooked the course with a complete disregard for player enjoyment.

The course is wide open and a real pleasure to play, but it was very crowded when I plate and the customer service in the pro shop was a bit surly. Additionally, a number of the signs on the course were graphitied and the cart GPS system warned me on multiple locations to be aware of my surroundings and not leave valuables in my cart unattended. Maybe it's the land prices, but IMO, this is NOT a $150 course. - far from it. I'm from the mainland, and a course I would rate as similar quality (but lower theft potential, apparently) back home runs me about $45 on the weekend.

I've played here a few times and the only real qualms I have are with the state of a majority of the bunkers. The sand normally is really coarse and on the 10th hole green side bunker, I scratched my 60 degree off something in the sand. Otherwise it's a good course

Most disappointing golf experience of my life. I have had the luxury of taking annual golf vacations for many years including Pebble Beach, TPC Sawgrass, TPC Scottdale, Grand Cypress and many lesser known (and less expensive) public courses. Let me tell you about Coral Creek. I arrived only 10-15 minutes before my tee time due to a traffic accident on the H1. While trying to hurry, I watched 3-4 bag boys joking around while I unloaded my clubs at the bag drop. I then walked around for a bit trying to find the pro shop. Again, no help. The pro shop took 10 minutes to run my credit card 5 times, making 5 different errors in coding merchandise. I run out to the starter whose is telling another group about how I should have arrived 10-15 minutes before my tee time. No communication between pro shop and starter. Now I am ready to load my own bags onto a cart and get going. Bag boy tells me to "hang loose" as I have missed my tee time. With 10 empty carts in front of me he goes around back and gets another cart and tells me to "use this one". He then proceeds to chastize me about arriving earlier so "his tee times" don't get backed up. He then tells me, "You will be be playing behind a bunch of Asians so get ready for a long day." I think that is very disrespectful and his whole attitude was the worst customer service I have ever seen. Four holes into the round we have a course Marshall "lurking" behind us. You know what I mean by "lurking". Some clubs have courteous Player Assistants. Coral Creek has Marshalls to push you through your round. We are twosome playing behind two foresomes. We are having no trouble keeping up. Hole 12 our specially selected cart runs out of power. If we are not going downhill, we are pushing the cart around the course. No sign of the the Marshall now! No sign of the club cart ALL day. Thankfully, hole16 tees off next to the cart barn. We ask to change carts. Same bag boy with the same attitude reluctantly gives us another cart. Hole 16 approach shot - Marshall shows up again. As we are approaching the tee box on hole 17 - the Marshall is moving the blue tee markers to the back of the black tee boxes. Are you kidding me? We finish the round with 3-4 bag boys still having lots of fun and no interest in helping us with our clubs or bags. We also played Ko'Olau, Hawaii Prince and Royal Kunia each twice. Great courses and more important they know the importance of basic customer service. If you want a relaxing vacation, stay away from Coral Creek. August 28, 2012 7:52am

From Sydney, Australia I am female golfer Hcp 22 played 3 shots better than my Hcp. Played with husband who plays of 5, and from the moment he teed it up hated the place. All the reviews we read beat the place up to be one of the best on Oahu. Nowhere near it. We were spoiled by playing the Palmer course at Turtle Bay the day before, this course couldn't compare. Pros: Short and picturesque course. Course very lush. Greens fair. Public course reasonable rates making it affordable. Cons: Not enough yardage for the first time player. Playing behind groups of 8 people, making day very long. Cold water coolers with no cold water. No drink or food cart. Basically not maintained well. Would not recommend to anyone who was looking for a good place to play. Very disappointed.
