We used Country club of the South for a wedding venue and they were great! Rafeal knows what he is doing and will make the entire night run smoothly! We had 185 guest, a big band/stage/dance floor, and it was magical! Although the ceremony was inside, the big windows made it feel like we were outside! The bar staff were very friendly and helpful! Everyone thought it was gorgeous and had a blast! Additionally, there was a big house we rented that the entire bridal got ready in—very convenient! We highly recommend!

Horrible place to have a wedding from beginning to end! Britney did not support bride or groom, was never around and basically did nothing to garner the money Club Corp got for the wedding! The food was sub par, dry and absolutely the worst! These other reviews are beyond fakery! Club Corp should review the lack of staff and reconsider Britney as their event coordinator. The receptionist did nothing as well when guest came into venue for ceremony. Just horrific service, food, and overall experience! Wow, sad for the bride, groom, family and friends that had to experience that debacle. The club itself is beautiful, but they are not setup to do weddings, food or other special event. They should not even get a star, but star is for the beauty of the club. Not for Britney,service, staff or food. Do not have your wedding at The Country Club of The South! Complete waste of $$$$$$$$$&$$$$$$!$$$$!!!!

My husband and I attended a masquerade ball here for Valentine's Day and it was beautiful and a LOT of fun. It's a beautiful place and the staff is very nice.

CCOS has had some recent turnover with the food staff but I think it is getting there. I go there for poker night and with friends who belong to the club. Always friendly and I like supporting local businesses.

Visiting from out of town. Great day on the golf course. Greens running at a good speed and course in good condition, especially for this time of year. The pro working in the pro shop was pleasant and accommodating, especially since i did not bring my clubs. Gentlemen working bag drop and the starter also made the day more enjoyable. Dinner in the restaurant. Staff was friendly and helpful with the many gluten free options. My salmon was a little under cooked, but better than over cooked and i could have sent it back to be cooked a little more so that is really on me. Five of us for dinner and everyone enjoyed. I am sure i will return my next visit and know my friends will be back several times each month. Thank you.

The country club is great for family's to come together for some fun. With a great pool and food. It really helps to kill the lazy Sunday. The employees are sometimes rude but mostly nice to everybody. It's a big country club so be prepared if it gets really busy. It has a wonderful pool, 12 tennis courts, and much more :)

Incredible venue for getting married. The staff are all wonderful to work with. The locker rooms are huge and very nice. The men's even has a bar and grill in it for a meal prior to. The attached villa is something that stands out beyond any other venue. It makes for a perfect home base for family in town that are helping with the wedding.

Ruined my brother wedding. The wedding planner left the wedding before it started. The photographers directed the ceremony and the dj opened the banquet hall. The wedding planner was no show. The servers took all the food home such a disaster.
