It is a wonderful laid back environment. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The greens were wll manicured. The overall course is relatively beautiful and very well maintained. It was worth the day I spent playing here.

It's simply an awesome place. To live, work, community, sports, healthcare and superb center to within minutes reach all places in N.Georgia including shopping (Mall of GA is less tan 30 mins as well). We love it

Love this golf course! Fairways and greens are in great condition. Challenging course and the rough definitely makes you pay. Whenever I can find a good deal I try to play a round here. One of the best public courses in the 85 North/985 area. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

They have a wonderful neighborhoods w/ residential housing with upscale homes! A awesome golf course, hotel and winery with tours that you can take and wine tastings that are second-to-none! Purchase bottles of wine and other gifts as well. They also have several restaurants that have very good food!

Played the Woodlands course. Course was well designed and in fair condition. Unfortunately, it seems that even though many things are associated with chateau elan, they aren't all connected. There were many instances where we waited over 20 minutes for them to figure out how to charge and credit things to our room.

AVOID. Played in a college tournament here recently and was expecting good things. The course was in horrible shape all 3 days. Barely any grass in the fairways, greens as hard as a rock, washed out ruined spots everywhere... Wouldn’t play the Chateau course again even if it was free.

The greens are always green and well manicured. The pro store cashiers are nice enough considering the prestige of the club. The practice putting area is great to practice on and even has a sand bar. Carts are well taken care of. I definitely recommend this course.

I just shared the image of 18 Tee with 5 carts and at least 7 players. I never got a chance to play the 18th on the Chateau Course. Additionally my entire back 9 sucked because of these clowns. I called the pro shop and they did nothing. Never again.

Great guys outside helping our group into the grill. Lovely glass solarium to sit in. That's where the good ends. The rest of the experience was stunningly horrible. After an hour some still had no food and we're talking sandwiches and burgers. It was like No one had ever done this before and we had a reservation made 2 weeks prior. Never again!

We played the Chateau course. Putting was impossible. The actual hole on almost every green was bent out of shape, not round and some even sticking out of the ground like they were pounded in with a hammer. The forward tee boxes were in poor shape and the pricing was totally confusing. The price is different if the resort books for you, if you book online or if you just walk in and ask to play. As much as $20 per person. We should have booked with Golf Now. On a Friday, there is no marshal or starter, so you have no idea about pin placement and no idea where to go if you have not played here before. We would have expected better service considering the higher per round rate than other local courses.

My home course. Right around the corner and convenient to I85. Three courses plus a par 3 executive course. New greens (hybrid bermuda) as of 2016 on the Chateau course. Friendly staff and well kept courses. The greens fees are a little high on the weekend but it's worth it. Great range and short game area with multi level green and bunkers for those who spend a lot of time in the sand. Great layouts for hackers and scratch players alike.

The course was in great shape I played first out on the woodland course. Everything was going great till I got on the back nine the maintenance supervisor did not replace the tea box markers and was constantly getting in the way with the Mower on The Fairway. Then he decided on 18 to teach his subordinate how to mow a green while I was trying to put out my round. I'll definitely be back to resubmit a better review.

Night golf was great, but our stay was disappointing from the perspective of the hotel service. Our AC unit was incredibly loud. When I alerted the front desk of the problem they sent a technician out immediately, which was great. However, the issue was only temporarily fixed and was a problem all through the night. Then, the next morning we discovered our breakfast order was not going to be delivered only after it wasn't delivered. When we checked out the attendant at the front desk was uninterested in why our stay was only "eh, it was ok." Not in a rush to go back.

This is the most beautiful golf course around! They have a pavillion you can stop at and eat and cute little ponds of water. Its Great if you are looking for a nice quiet golfing trip with your significant other or a friend. The wonderful scenery makes it a breathe of fresh air. Great Golf Facility, 27 holes of Challenging golf, I personally prefer the Chateau course, the Original 18 holes, and if you have an opportunity to play the Private facility The Legends at Chateau Elan, This is a must former home of the SARAZEN WORLD OPEN! Played the Woodland course this weekend. 14 or more greens were unplayable (Have to fully sand a green after aeration) 165th it 17th green was black with fungus and had a furrowed ant trail almost half an inch deep running across the entire green. A first ever sight for me. Rough was bermuda, not well cut and almost impossible to hit out of. Expected much more for a resort course. The winery and inn were fantastic but would recommend playing golf elsewhere

Great golf course. Played the Woodlands course and it is challenging for a mid-range golfer. Greens are nice but not "simple". For the price, not a bad place to play. I will be returning.
