Everything is beautiful but the greens are slower than they look. If the greens were fast I believe golf course would get a lot more customers.

Why aren't this course and club house grounds in decent shape? Same mgt for Wallace Adams @ Little Ocmulgee.which is in great condition. This outstanding design deserves better. Managers should be embarrassed. NO bang for the buck.

Great course. The greens were a little rough from just being punched and the gnats will eat you alive. My suggestion is to buy the No-Gnat at Striplings across the street.

The greens were aerated with holes about the size of a quarter as well as being sanded plus they were cut way too high. The Fairway was cut too high. The rough was worse than anything that they saw at East Lake for the PGA Tour Championship. So, this was not a good experience today at all. The only compliment for this course, today, was that the bunkers had been raked.

Jim and his staff has made great strides in the little time he has been here. A hidden gem at Lake Blackshear, Jim is a great teacher and the course is a challenge for the average golfer but also fair for the various handicaps. I look forward to the continued success of the course. Only thing I would suggest is more membership opportunities with social events tied to it.. i.e. member guest/junior clinics

Love the course layout, however, the course was very poorly maintained. I was expecting an awesome experience, but the course was not mowed properly. The fairways were cut for the most part, but if you hit a ball anywhere near the edge of the fairway, you would spend 5-10 minutes looking for it. The tee boxes were also not maintained very well. My group teed off from the blue tees, and almost all tee boxes needed to be cut. I ran into an older gentleman that told me the course had been in disarray for several weeks. One of the guys in my group also purchased a pimento cheese sandwich in the clubhouse that was molded. Not a very good experience after driving an hour to play there. I would not recommend this course to anyone.
