4 Star course, 5 star value. By far the best course for right around $50. Beautiful fairways and extremely true greens. I've played every public course in Savannah, and many on Hilton Head, but I'd rather drive to Statesboro.

We have never heard of the cart fee is per person. Also the rule requires two people per cart. All it boils down to is that if we play 5 times a month for 12 months, the cart fee will be more expensive than the membership for two. It costs $3500 a year. It is what a country club charges and may be little but more. My point is that Georgia southern is a golf course and not a country club that has tennis, pool and Resturant. I suggest the committee will look into changing the policy. Otherwise the course is good. In fact the person who built this course is a friend of ours.

Tough course with some tight landing areas and quick greens. I've played many of the top public courses in Atlanta, Augusta, Golden Isles, and Orlando areas and this course has some of the best conditions I've played. Buy some NoNatz in the shop, but the greens fees are a steal.

Great course. Exceptional condition. Gnats are a problem though. Hit it straight. Lots of water and more than a couple of holes with long carries over water or marsh just to get to the fairway. Might as well tee it forward for the distance challenged.

The quality and care of this course is always top notch. The practice amenities are the best around. The staff is very friendly. The layout of the course is fantastic with a scenic, challenging front nine and a more forgiving and straight forward back nine (save the final two holes). This is my favorite course in this part of the state.
