Maybe the best muni course I ever played, maybe one of the best courses...!

I've golfed Cobblestone for the past 15 years... watching it go through a series up owners and ups and downs. It's been my go-to course, but that's changing. They need to get a grip on the rates they're charging for 9 holes and minors. I'm fortunate to have a daughter interested in the game. We played 9 on Saturday at 2:00pm... almost $70 for the 2 of us and a cart. The sport needs more players. This isn't the way to attract them. My disappointment will lead me to a new go-to course in the future.

Stuffy course where you are rushed into your tee time and sandwiches between foursomes. Doesn't have a liquor license. HARD PASS.

Very nice views and price

Neal Alexander

Course is in great shape and greens are smooth and fast. A real challenge for any golfer. Very scenic.

Wow!! The course was in great shape, even after torrential rains. The staff was very friendly and would highly recommend this course.

I'll start by saying the layout is very good. Love the rolling hills and lots of holes that overlook Lake Acworth. Teed it up on April 11th 2016 as a stop in round on my way into ATL for a week long conference. Greens were tight but not overly quick. Was able to putt them pretty well considering I play bent grass greens mostly in southern Indiana. Fair ways were mostly green with a lot of golf car traffic damage. This course looks over played, under hydrated and generally lacked good maintenance. Course needs to keep carts on path for a few months to let the grass heal. Doubt I'll play it again. 4 stars for layout and challenge , 2 stars for conditions, 3 stars for staff.

Great course and friendly staff in pro shop and cart staff. Course Marshal is a complete jerk and honestly didn't know what he was doing. Harassed us for slow play when we were waiting to take our tee shot on every hole. After Reading other reviews it seems as though this is the common theme of the course.

Lou Marcotte

Sad they don't take better care of the course. Greens are in good shape but drainage on the course and fairways is terrible. It's mud ball and killing the grass.

Beautiful course that's in great shape even in late November. Hilly and fairly challenging if you aren't well versed in "shot placement" courses. Most of the staff was friendly, however, we did get harassed excessively for slow play by an over zealous course marshal; who stalked us for the entire front nine after we had a slow start. We had one beginner with us; the rest of us shoot in the 90s. I understand the importance of pace but I also thought golf was supposed to be relaxing and fun - not stressful.

My arch nemesis...my Joker...my Lex Luther...but always in great shape...No 5th star because clientele can't understand how to rake bunkers and ball machine on practice range isn't consistent with CCs.

We played here shortly after the greens were aerated for the season. The greens didn’t roll that true but were fast for being aerated. The fairways, tees, and traps were all in good condition. They offer a deal during that time, $35 for a round plus hot dog, chips, and a drink.

Came in town to play this course as I read numerous great reviews. First off there is a nice pro shop/club house when you roll in. They have a nice driving range/practice area to take advantage of before your round (although some parts were being renovated). Overall, this was a fun track to play although challenging, very tight and left little room for error. Definitely have an opportunity to hit every club in your bag. The course is right on the lake so it makes for a beautiful layout. I only gave 4 stars because the tee boxes were in awful shape. I’m not sure if they lost the grass or what , but they were flat out awful. I saw where sprinklers were going off on the tee boxes in between groups playing and several tee boxes were soaked, muddy and little grass to even hit off of. I have no doubt they used to be in better condition, but they have a lot of work to do to get these back where they should be. I will be back to play this course again in the near future.

My husband ( Vance Carlton) enjoys golfing there .

My husband took my father in law and another 70 year old here for a day of golf. Someone came and yelled at them to hurry up. They were spending money on food and drink there as well as golf and should not have been treated this way. Very unprofessional and the course was not well maintained either. Such a disappointment on what should have been a great day.

The course was in good shape overall, but not as friendly to golfers with handicaps it could be. The staff was efficient. Jordan on the beverage cart was most help and pleasant. This was my first time here and I would return if I can get reasonable green fees.

The course is beautiful. The pro shop staff is friendly and professional. HOWEVER, I've played this course nearly a dozen times. Never has it taken more than 4.5 hours and that was a very slow ladies group ahead of us. Most of the time it was under 4 hours to play 18 holes. Every time I've played a ranger comes by asking us to speed up play. 10-15 minutes per hole is more than acceptable for the average amateur 4some. It's distracting, rude and unprofessional for their rangers to do this when play is at a good pace. Today was my last trip to this course.

Michael Thomas

The course was laid out nice. Challenging yet seemingly forgiving in the right places. Hence the 3 stars. Everything else was a wreck. Went last minute and booked over the phone. The rate at the course was in excess of $60. The same time on golf now was 35. The attendant would not match the online rate and I had to step back and book on golf now while standing in the clubhouse. That was ridiculous. The course was a soggy mess. I get that they are watering the rye in, but there was an insane amount of casual water on every single hole and on nearly every tee box. The pace of play here is over the top. If you play here, expect the rangers to be all over you for play. I was forced to skip hole 1, which was mostly due to my last minute booking, but completely unnecessary. I would not recommend this course to anyone who is not a scratch golfer or a member. There are far too many options for excellent golf in the area to warrant any additional rounds at this facility.

My experience at this course was not a pleasant one. It should have been but unfortunately not!!.... The staff on this course was not friendly at all and made this golf outing a miserable one. From the time we arrived there yesterday at 8:00am, it was a series of unfortunate events! The front counter was not very helpful in telling us anything. IE... driving range, putting green, which hole we are starting on (1st or 10th), etc.... Just pushed us to the side but the next guy behind us got all that info and a friendly greeting. If I hadn't been listening to that conversation our group wouldn't have known anything. At the time I just chalked it up to bad customer service and was excited to playing this beautiful looking course. But after ALL the B.S. that happened yesterday. It was very obvious we WEREN'T wanted there.... After our tee time was called we went to the wrong tee and the starter there was extremely rude and told us "If you would pay better attention to your receipt you'd know where you were starting." How were we supposed to know that receipt was saying back nine tee? Again, we weren't told anything from the front desk. But also was it necessary for him to be rude about it??.... We turned around and found our way to hole number 10 and started on the back (foursome), there was only a twosome in front of us. By the third hole they were gone and the group behind us just teed off. There was 2 holes between us and them....2 holes!! This is the point where a IRRITATING OBNOXIOUS Ranger approached us and started pushing us to pick up the pace of play. We told him we were on time and he told us we were technically 2 minutes behind...WTH? Who cares that we aren''t right on the clock time? Again no one was being held up from us. So we shouldn't have been bothered. No one was within 2 holes from us so why the rush treatment? This annoying ranger stayed with us the entire day, every hole. Right there to making us uncomfortable! He even said to us "I'm going to stay with you guys to help you find your balls so you'll keep up with the pace of play!" What ranger does that? For the rest of the round we felt rushed and unwanted on this course. Like he was ushering us to hurry up so we could leave. One hole, the beverage cart girl came by and we all got something to drink. He stood right there next to us tapping his watch like he's some keeper of time....Again, what ranger does this?? After a miserable day of this ranger making comments and putting the cherry on this terrible experience at this beautiful course. I decide to go into the pro shop and complain to the manager about ridiculous customer service inside and outside on the course. Do you think they cared or tried to make things right?... Absolutely not!! The pro there actually tried to make ridiculous excuses for this grossly behavior towards us by saying things like" well it does say on the card about pace of play & there was a group holding up 3 other groups out there. " I told him that wasn't us, no one was behind us for the entire round." He basically tried to blame us for their poor treatment and gave me a very insincere apology to get me out of his face....I have never seen or been mistreated at a golf course like this in my 26 years of golfing and 20 years of active duty service in my life. I don't throw racial accusations around very often or lightly but this time it was extremely clear and blatantly in our faces why this was happening...After reading this, If you are a person of color, you might want to rethink your next golf trip to the Cobblestone golf course in Atlanta. They clearly not very receptive to ALL human being! They should be embarrassed for their actions!

Great course for the money...nice landscape with scenic views...narrow fairways...greens in great shape...friendly staff...had a great outing and I would and will recommend this course.

Terence Nesbit

Very nice course, well maintained. Slopes were a bit of an issue for me, but great for the course.

YMCA sponsored event and the Staff did an amazing job making our golfers feel welcomed and appreciated! Thank you!

Great course for the money or even for a more expensive place. They need to water more often but most of course in good shape. The service at the cafe sucks for getting food at the turn.
