REVIEWS OF World Woods Golf Club IN Florida

George Crooks

Enjoyed it, well worth the 90 min drive. We played Rolling Oaks, the greens were slow because they have sand in them, but the fairways and rough are playing nice. It was my first time playing here and I shall return. No houses insight, which is another plus for the course. Decent driving range and putting greens. I would have given the course 4 stars if there was GPS and the cart girl was better stocked. If you get a chance to play, go visit. Then let me know if you liked it also. I'll be back in 2 weeks to play the other 18. I can't remember the name right now.

Jerry Barnes

You've got to play both courses, what a great way to spend a day

Jeremy Voght

Always enjoy a round of golf here

rayj12001

Played Rolling Oaks and Pine Barrens this week. Area here has been dry. Courses in good shape. Greens fast. Nice courses to visit in Tampa north area.

boermaone

Been here many times, the Pine Barrens is a nice course and a great layout. But I have to say the experience is not what it used to be. This place is TIRED!!! The carts are old, the club house is old, snack bar stinks, girl behind it was a grouch, locker room really bad, course conditions a little lacking. If not careful, this place could be another golf casualty.

Ron Harbour

Both courses are consistently in great condition. Rolling hills offer a variety of challenges while simultaneously providing and opportunity for all levels of golfers to enjoy a round without getting beat up. Secluded and tranquil environment without the distractions of houses around the golf course.

bryan green

Beautiful and well maintained. A lot of elevation changes. Lots of trees and sand bunkers but a fair layout.

Brad Lewis

A group of us go there at least twice per year and we always have a great time. The Villas are so so, but everything else is awesome!

Dwyan Dozier

One of the best courses I've played. I played The Rolling oaks course. Great elevation changes, the fairways wide and the greens fast. I've got to come back and play the Pines. A must play if you are visiting the Tampa area.

Peter Prestigiacomo

Great facility to play and practice. Would get 5 stars if they had a better clubhouse. Staff is not very accommodating or friendly. They are obviously there for just a paycheck, not a passion for enhancing the golf experience for customers.

Maurice Paquin

Beautiful course

Wade Parrish

True test of golf, wow what an experience. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to challenge his or her skills

MIKE NUGENT

High and Dry in the summer. Pine Barrons is difficult challenging and visually pleasing.

Todd Alexander

Played the Pine Barrens course and it was very fun! Large greens and large fairways made it friendly for people that suck at golf like myself. But with that being said it had alot of elevation and rolling greens, option holes, and sand, lots and lots of sand that made for a very unique and fun golf course. I truly felt like I was on a course that was top notch in terms of testing a golfer's skill. Friendly on the wallet so that anyone can play this course if willing to make the drive to it.

erik n

This place is top notch Tom Fazio did it right both courses very challenging and holes cut very challenging . The layout of the rolling oaks course is simply amazing every hole so unique and beautiful no holes touch each other and no hole the same . This place is a golfer's paradise You have to check it out

Joshua Harth

My wife and I tried to enjoy our lunch at the clubhouse . We simply ordered 2 burgers and a bloody Mary. Our servers name was Kim, a heavy set older lady with very short hair and was EXTREMELY RUDE. She practically threw our food on the table (she is missing a fingernail on her pointer finger and honestly it was quite disturbing). I didn't even want to eat my burger after seeing that touch my food. So at this point we were already very disappointed but it gets much worse. After we had finished we went up to the register, paid our bill, and noticed our server put a 20.00 bill in her pocket out of the register. At the time it seemed odd but we were just ready to get out of there and away from this wildebeest. After arriving home my wife noticed and brought to my attention the extra burger and bloody Mary on our bill!!! This is a disgrace and theft. My wife and I will NEVER be going back here. All the wait staff is rude and has absolutely ZERO personality . After telling many of my golf buddies what happened, a friend of mine that isn't as bold as I am, told me they had a very similar experience with the same server!! Needless to say, we cancelled our upcoming group match. This clubhouse is simply the worse and I absolutely cannot stand a thief. Although my friend didn't know how to write a review, he made management aware of what happened. The fact that management is either so oblivious or complacent to these things happening is ridiculous. Watch out for Kim, who knows how many times she has done this to people .

Wayne Skaarup

Pine Barrens at World Woods is a great golf course. Lots of character and challenge. Very good condition.

Suzanne Butler

In its wonderfully natural and forested setting, World Woods is home to two excellent Tom Fazio designs. Both opened for play in 1993 with the much-admired Rolling Oaks layout complementing the stunning and highly-acclaimed Pine Barrens course. Pine Barrens is one of the top-rated and finest championship layouts in Florida. The excellent tree-lined parkland course contains a wealth of wonderfully crafted, memorable and challenging holes. Definitely a course that will challenge your all-round game, and well worth going out of your way to play.

Rudy Peralta

What can I say but just what I wanted to see today! The practice Area

Alex Raposa

Nicest courses in Tampa Bay area....played in December, paid $60 a person to get on. challenging greens, well manicured tees and fairways. truly beautiful on every hole. lots of elevation changes for FL course. strongly recommend taking the drive out

eric brenneman

Totally enjoy the 2 courses. Greens and fairways are perfect.

Glenn Mc Cracken

Great golf courses. Friendly staff.

Jim Hall

It's always nice, but if your having an of day you will be pushed and rushed by the ranger, Gary in particular will become quite rude. Avoid Gary and you will have a wonderful time, if you encounter other rangers you need not worry, they are pros at diplomacy. Good luck

Tim Parham

This course had some stunningly beautiful golf holes. The layout was great and we had a blast. Unfortunately, a few of the greens had some damage and they were a bit slow for my taste. I'll definitely return and would suggest you hit these courses if you are in the area.

Kristi davis

I would give it negative ten stars if i could. Don't work here unless your perfect. I understand it was my 90 probation period but i had strep so i stayed home but they felt the need for me to come in and granted it was raining. They have favorites there they have employees stealing in front of customers and i try to protect the people coming to play golf and i get in trouble....smh this place is a joke extremely over priced

William G Morrison

Could use better maintenance. Cart paths and bunkers are in terrible shape. Definitely not worth their undiscounted price

Eric Jackson

Not enough grass in the fairways. Hitting off basically dirt in certain sections of Rolling Oaks. I wouldn't call it a cow pasture, but they need to put some serious money into these courses.

Kent Prine

Love this place.

Mike Chitty

Played Pine Barrens course is in great shape and greens are fantastic

David Hooked up Buonomo

Great courses.Excellent staffing.

Jim Shannon

Course was great as usual. 16 green on the Oaks needs something. Had a good day.

David Wilson

A little out in the middle of nowhere but well worth the drive. They are smart and price based on demand so if your willing to play in the heat you can normally find a cheap deal. The courses themselves are well designed and a lot of fun. -1 star because no full liquor license.. but +1 back for having good food so still giving them 5 stars.

Michael Tschaenn

Pine Barons is a difficult course, lots of sand. But, don't pay full price, look for discounted rates. Facilities are showing their age.

Tony Wickersham

Great courses and top tier practice facilities

Dillon Haakonsen

Awesome course. Tricky yet forgiving with wide open fairways. Kim the drink lady was really great. Tell her I said thanks

Linda Johnson

Our first time here and we played the short couse. Very pretty surroundings. We will be back to play the longer courses when the weather cools down.

Anthony P

Courses are both wonderful and represent a real value. Starters, rangers and cart ladies were all fantastic. The big three star drop in rating comes from a single staff member in the clubhouse by the name of Rick. While visiting from out of state the club booked our tee times on each course for 8:58 and 1:48, respectively. The course was running at a 20-25 minute delay so we didn't tee off until closer to 9:20. Pace of play was solid and at the 16th tee I took note that it was 1:00 and that we were probably going to be finishing our first round right at/around that 1:48 tee time. I took the initiative to call the clubhouse to inform them of the time and circumstance and loosely ensure that we'd be accommodated as we finished our first 18 and briefly freshened up. Rick crudely informed us that the course was booked solid and simply noted in so many words that we make this 1:48 tee time or be SOL. This was despite my notice that their own morning delays created this situation, that they booked/chose these adjacent times for us, and that we were looking at a minimal delay at most. This left us scrambling to the point that I had to change clothes in the parking lot and run back over barefoot while my cart-mate went in and paid for the second round and the other two-some had to make a mad scramble as well. It turned out that at least the next two groups behind us were also looping over to the other course as well...so it really should have been an easy conversation with a better clubhouse just politely recognizing the situation, providing us with the assurance and simply asking to make our way over to the other course 1st tee box as soon as reasonably possible. Granted, this was the same personnel that when I asked if they had a water fountain gave me directions and upon following them and seeing no water fountain I asked the woman behind the clubhouse bar and she just held out her hand as she, in fact, was the "water fountain". Just classless and an example of how one bad person can punt the positive efforts of so many others. Here I am back home after a bucket list trip with a ruined experience of an otherwise great course because of one person.

Jorge Uribe

One of my favorite FL courses. Great deal for the price, greens are always in fine shape. Disappointing cafe, food took forever to serve , but the sweet tea was perfect.

Steve Wilcox

First class golf courses, really tremendous layouts, two totally different challenges, playable for higher handicaps from front tees but very tough from all the way back. Tournament quality course, solid conditions on the fairways and greens, and probably the best value dollar for dollar of anywhere I have played. Bunkers and cart paths are a little rough but overall a fantastic golf experience.

Björn van der Poel

Played Rolling Oaks and Pine Barrens. Rolling Oaks was great. But Pine Barrens was magnificent. Never played a more exciting and beautiful course than this one. Unfortunately we can only play this course when we are on vacation.

Dave Wire

Got a great rate to play from Golfnow. Sunday afternoon and course was totally vacant, 18 with a cart was $17.00. Greens were beautiful, not too fast, or too slow, but alot of severe undulations. Well manicured and very very clean. Staff was super friendly. As soon as I can ever lock down that rate or close to it, I will most definitely play there again.

Jason L. Thompson

One of the best values in Florida golf (or anywhere). Two great courses, an amazing practice facility, and great conditioning. Only downsides are the average clubhouse and not-so-friendly employees. Can't wait to play here again.

Kevin Seroski

Challenging course. Fun to play. Tough greens!

chris meyer

Played Rolling Oaks. Very nice fairways, greens smooth and true, and practice and warm-up areas are the best.

Edward Ellison

Great value, course condition was very good. Very challenging.

Joe Blankley

Played both courses recently and found both to be in excellent condition. Well worth the cost. Service from the cart attendant to the people in the pro shop was great. A special thanks to the marshal on Rolling Oaks on 4/20 who was knowledgeable and informative. He knew the timing of every group on the course. The course was full but we still played at a 4 hr pace. Courses are in better shape than other resort courses in the area.

Steve Tullio

Love the Rolling Hills course!

Horace Knight

Rolling Oaks was in amazing condition. Love this course.

Damian Rodriguez

Simply amazing live it will visit again absolutely

Cal Condon

Perfectly maintained. Great staff. Cant get much better than this for a public course. Beautiful place.

Andrew donato

Great course with plenty of space. True greens and great nature scenes

Robert Hobbs

Some of the best golfing in the state of florida.

wellington sick

Best course in the region. Period.

Mark Jordan

Challenging and worth playing

Rodney Stamler

Excellent golf course and it was in great shape.

Sterling Moore

Nicely groomed course for this climate. Pricing could come down to attract more golfers.

D Moerlins

Fantastic practice facilities and challenging Pine Barrens course. Hard to believe it is a public course.

Emmett Taylor

First time playing this course. Really nice, and the staff was amazing. Definitely will be back !!

Barry Shaffer

One gorgeous course! Every hole is a postcard. The course is tucked out in the country so there aren't any houses to disrupt the lines of the course. A "must play" with 5 tee boxes from 4900 to 7200+ any level player can enjoy.

Sam Bejaoui

Great golf with two top notch layouts! Grass ranges, multiple putting greens.

--

Great looking course the pine barrens was great and also played the short course a different time here it was good but needs improvement on the cart path was lots of bumps and cracks made driving in the golf cart less enjoyable. The winter months the course is a bit pricey could definitely use a few improvements on some things for the price you're paying should be a excellent experience. Overall, the pine barrens was challenging and sure it's the same with rolling oaks so it's worth a try at this place.

Mike Hammontree

Great golf courses with the best practice area anywhere.

M Sutter Gavin

Great course real good condition.

Greg Schindler

Looking forward to returning in June for our mini tournament

Kathy Roger

From out of state family played June 2017. Starting with tee number four, ranger told husband and son "too slow" and needed to pick up pace. Then on hole number 10, he came back again and told us to skip number 10 and come back after finished. We assumed the group behind us was complaining. All day, this ranger was "hanging" around. He made my husband feel so uncomfortable, husband basically stopped playing. Then when finished, this ranger was waiting so we could play number 10. So the icing on the cake was, he told my husband that he could tell that he had not played golf in awhile. My son was really looking forward to this course, we came from WV on vacation visiting family in the area. But, we will NEVER play this course again. We understand pace of play, but this was ridiculous. Short of being harassed.

Jose Kuhn

Very nice course but could have been more accommodating with my son who has some needs when playing with others he does not know. My son is a rule follower and when other break the rules of golf it makes his wheels come off. We needed to then breakaway and play alone but we were told we could not in a rude manner.

David Apt

Outstanding layout, SLOW greens!

Linda Mac

Golfed Rolling Oaks this afternoon. The expedience was outstanding. Sounds corny but it was truly magical. Rolling Oaks was a feast for the eyes from SO many places on the course! Golfed both courses once about 5 years ago. Was even better than we remembered. A two-day tourney had just ended and yet we saw practically no ball marks on the greens. It's in great shape!

Jesse Renfroe

Top notch place to play golf and the practice facility is very nice also

Jerry Morrow

Great golf venue! Fairways and greens are fantastic! Staff is very friendly and helpful. 50 dollars is not too much for this golf course. Make a special day with friends or family and play!

Marion Kelley

The fairways were well manicured and the greens were fast and smooth

Bruce Bubier

This is one of the best places to golf, it is always in great shape. The staff is always courtesy and helpful. I give it a 5 star rating.

Micheal m

Great place to go to golf

james murphy

great place to play and the course was in fabulous condition.

Concierge Golf Ireland

Great fun, i played both course and i certainly would say that both courses are worth a game. But do go to play 36 holes. The club house is small and it very functional. Moreover, The people working at world woods were all nice and very helpful. Awesome and fun! I found the service provided tp be prompt and relaxed.

John Faith

A jewel - both courses are great and always in fine condition...even two weeks after a hurricane. 250 trees were felled by Irma but Pine Barrens and Rolling Oaks were in tip-top shape this past weekend.

Dan Ross

Golf Course in excellent condition restaurant okay

clayton wagner

Course wasn’t bad but the staff and cart girl were miserable and rude. Not a friendly staff and our golf cart had a broken windshield with no brakes. Would not come back!

Christopher Schneider

Amazing shape right now at Rolling oaks. Greens were a little slow but played in evening and I'm sure they grew since morning. They were like carpet though. Been playing there for years and it's in best shape I've ever seen. Golf now for $35 is best deal going. Get out before summer maintenance.

Roseann Ambrico

We love this course. Very tranquil, plush greens, the staff is very friendly it's an excellent course.

Shawn Allen

Been coming here for over 20 years. Golf courses are amazing. Best layouts within an hours drive. Only issue is the for a place charging over $100 they have to do something with the clubhouse. Bathrooms in clubhouse absolutely disgusting. If you are not going to update them for 25 years at least make sure the are clean. I know golf is a tough go in the USA with people not playing but, come on guys. Brought my sons out and they refused to go in the clubhouse. Pro shop also like stepping into a time machine...an empty time machine. Great golf. Poor clubhouse.

Donald Greever

Great

RJ Baranowski

Very challenging greens to put on for the Pine barrens course. Well kept and a great layout.

Annet Heilijgers

Clubhouse needs badly renovation, its dirty and filthy. The golfcourse is superb, and beautiful. A shame for this fantastic golfcourse to have this worn down clubhouse. The man in the shop was not customer friendly.

Michael Tuttle

Always in great shape, beautiful setting!!

Bill Filan

Fun golf course with challenging holes. Greens in excellent condition. Could not believe size of facility. Practice range with multiple tees and multiple putting greens including a separate irons only range. Two 18 hole courses, a separate short course and practice holes. Carts and cart paths are somewhat in disrepair and clubhouse unremarkable for such a golf focused facility.

Vinccent Infante

Great conditions.

Cam G

Beautiful course All year round. My friends and I play here only if we are in the mood to treat ourselves to an amazing course to play. We happily drive an extra 45 mins instead of any other course.

Cheyenne Jenkins

Great course. Run well kept well. Good food also.

Mr. Reviewdood

Pine Barrens - Nice course, pretty good layout. Some of the greens had sand patches that they need to work on. Course was in good shape even after all the rain they had last week.

Mark Barrett

This is an excellent golf course awesome greens and fairways. A must play.

Tom Vitalone

Beautiful golf course excellent condition Very challenging

Doug Carter

One of the best public golf courses in Florida. Two great courses.....Pine Barrens course is my personal favorite and Rolling Oaks is close behind. Must play golf courses if ever in this area of Florida.

Larry Helbling

Short course in excellent condition, greens are in great condition.

John Livengood

Fun layout, course was in good shape.

Troy Melquist

My name is Troy and I have been living in Florida for about 25 years now. I have played courses all over the US, Mexico and Canada. So I am familiar with a lot of courses and their services, etc. A few friends and myself decided to go to World Woods last month (January 2017) because all of our birthdays are just a couple of weeks apart and we have been making it an annual event to visit a nice course. We have all played World Woods several times. Long story short, we played the back tees. We are big hitters and like to play the entire course. At the first tee there was a group to go behind us and they were playing the white tees. We offered to let them go ahead and the starter/ranger would not allow it. Needless to say, they began to complain to the ranger within an hour or so of teeing off. The ranger confronted us several times during our round and make the entire experience very frustrating. We confronted the Pro, Scott Wyckoff, at the end of our round and told the story. He was not as understanding as you would expect and told us that maybe we shouldn't play the back tees. That maybe we were not good enough. He did send us a complimentary round so we decided to go back. We made a tee time and headed back. A 2 HOUR DRIVE UP THERE! Upon arrival, we were charged $50.00 each as the pro shop would not honor the complimentary round. The gentleman checking us in was very uncooperative, the clubhouse lady we tried to order snacks and drinks from we all very rude or standoffish. It's a nice course but when coming that far to play, paying above average prices, you are looking for the full experience. After this, the four of us have decided never to return and plan on spreading the word about our 2 experiences. Very disappointing and not worth going back. There are a lot of nice courses in Florida and they treat you they should. If customer service, attitude and being appreciated for your patronage is not important to you, then World Woods is for you. If it is, then buyer beware.

Daniel

Not kept up as it was in the past

Vince Inman

Great courses

Carl Hernandez

Got to play Rolling Oaks for the 1st time in 3 years. Still great. Greens weren't as fast as they used to be but great course.

James Collins

No houses, no street noise, beautifully kept courses, great BBQ sandwich with amazing fries... You get the picture. Played 36 two days ago and will definitely continue playing here.

Tony Huffman

Great courses. Loved playing there.

Clinton Hayes

Beautiful course and excellent condition

TLG

I always enjoy World Woods. Both courses are worth a visit. Occasionally get a slow round, but the ranger usually keeps things moving. On this weekend, they had only one on course cart covering both courses. Otherwise, another enjoyable experience at WW.

Sean McKim

Beautiful course, well worth the drive from wherever you are.

Ben Goettler

One of the best courses I've ever played! Don't be disappointed by a couple of the staff that are less then professional at times, it is a great place to play golf in central Florida!

Clark Adams

Beautiful courses, well maintained, set way back from Hwy,

Jaron Ferrell

Great course, dont typically see elevation like this in central Florida

Darryl Bruggemann

Don't miss the chance to play these two fantastic courses... Although it's a little pricey worth every penny

Stacy Gundry

Best course in the Tampa Bay area well worth the drive

T-REX

Woo! That was fun. We got the 20 dollar special because the greens were punched, but the fairways are immaculate. It like playing off carpet. Even with the greens punched, the layout and undulations makes this more fun than just about any course down in Tampa. It's a hike to the middle of nowhere, but it's worth it. They have 2 course , the Pine Barrons and the Rolling Oaks. We played the Pine Barrons.

James Hamlett

Super course I played Pine Barrens. Very attentive staff, Jim your starter gave us detailed information on both courses. Will return to extract vengeance on the holes that ate my lunch. Beautiful design and layout.

Dennis Miller

Great course, always in good shape.

Ken Allen

Tough course but real nice

Brian Douglas

Fantastic golf course, great service

Sondra Rodgers

Great course.. pricey but great!

Mike Nalysnyk

The course is very well maintained. The golf experience is fantastic. Reflects why it is one of the best courses in Florida.

Karen Card Wicks

Great Short Course!!

EDNMel KEEFNER

Course is in great shape. One issue is when the persons cutting the fairways they sit there full engine running only yards from your location. Not all maintenance people but most of them. Annoying.

Scott Roan

Always top notch

Traveling with Rick

Terrible. I was hitting balls at the golf range. Took a golf cart to the range. Parked it near where I was hitting balls. About 15 minutes on I turn around and the golf cart vanished! I immediately walked back to the starter to report the theft. My keys and wallet where in the cart! He says one of the employees may of taken it. It turns out they did. They thought it was abandoned. I was golfing twenty feet from the cart. They just take it with my keys and wallet? No apology no nothing. I will never return.

Jocelyn Villongco

Excellent courses and practice facilities. However, they have neglected to keep up with updating the clubhouse and golf carts, which are held together with tape and wires in some cases.

Dave

Best golf courses around

Tony Forlano Jr.

Excellent conditions. Very good layout.

Chip Wichmanowski

Both the Pine Barrens and Rolling Oaks courses are always in fantastic shape. Great proshop staff and grounds crew! Dining room serves great food and cold beer! This place is a great value....especially if you purchase the World Woods Premier Card.

Chris Dodson

Great course that is in great shape. Played Rolling Oaks. Greens were pretty fast and roll true.

michael Lawrence

When given the opportunity to play any of the courses at World Woods I know I will have a great day. Played Rolling Hills on 2/19, tee time was at 12:14, no one was either in front or behind us. This made the pace of play very relaxing. The greens rolled nicely and overall the course was in excellent condition. Staff was very courteous especially the cart lady. My only knock is that some of the bunkers had some new sand that swallowed up my golf ball a few times, not easy trying get out when 3/4 of your ball is submerged.

Chris Schneids

Both courses are in great shape and pace of play is good.

ROBERT BLEAKLEY

Two great courses Nice practice facility. Can be pricey but worth it . Shop the net for deals. Close to world class.

Eugene Knutson

Clean, good golf course, rude help behind check in counter.

william johnson

Great golf need sand in

James Palmer

Wonderful courses. One of my favorites in Florida!!! Highly recommend!

Ralph Calvano

Not as good as it has been in the past.

Jim Fleshman

Pine Barrens and Rolling Oaks are two of the best public courses in central Florida. Great layouts, excellent practice facilities and always well kept. Enjoy.

Moonluv13 Forest Fae

Gorgeous property.

Jay Gaf

Top 100 courses you can play in the US. Comparable to Pinehurst, Sawgrass, Raven courses. Just pure golf.

Brock Anderson

Decent courses we played 36. It’s a bit of a trip to get there and the course and amenities are nothing special.

Lamont Gordon

One of the best courses in Florida

Kenneth Stahorsky

One of the best courses in the area. Two first class 18s and a 9 hole executive course with two par 4s. All courses are in great shape with large well maintained greens. All courses are challenging even the executive. Prices are higher then the other courses on the area but the courses are higher rated. Well worth a try.

Bill Niester

Outstanding day of thirty six holes of golf. Well maintained, super friendly staff and not overly crowded course. Greens were fair and not overly punishing as were the fairways.

Hank Golden

The courses are always awesome it's got to be something like heaven out there at world woods. Top notch.

Bill Kern

Played short course - in great shape!

Mark Settle

Very nice course layout, maintained. Good food at clubhouse. Reasonable pricing all around.

Chris Atkins

Would love to play here more. Both courses are in great condition and very scenic. Food and clubhouse could be upgraded.

Chris Brown

Nice course nice greens. Worth the round

Michael LeConte

Outstanding conditions! Great layout! Great people!

David Lancaster

Golf course was great. On Pine Barrens you have to be on your game as there is a lot of trouble to be found in the waste bunkers, which are all over the course. You have a lot of decisions to make for the risk/reward shot. You get in the wrong waste bunker, you will card a double or triple bogie. Rolling Oaks is more forgiving and has an Augusta/Masters feel about it. I preferred Rolling Oaks. They also have two other courses in their stable that are very good: Sugar Hills and forget the name. They are worth the time to play. Why they only get 2 stars from me is the Villa and the manager running them. She will not return phone calls. We checked in for 4 nights and did not have TV at all. I finally caught up with her and she said she would take care of it, but like before, she talks a lot, but does not follow through.

Jerry Couzynse

Played Pine Barrens with my wife and another couple on Sunday July 17th and "WOW" was the place in great shape. The course is perfect for all types of golfers and a MUST play. Greens were great but I was even more impressed by the fairways. Go play....

William McDaniel

Incredible golf course! Definitely will be back.

John Davison

World Woods is top shelf golf.

Randy Simon

Golf country rite there buddy ! Played rolling oaks , pine barron is other course, very hilly, tremendous greens that are fast, beautiful holes, for $40 buck's it's a great value. Will be back for shore ! Staff was so so, drink girl on course was friendly

kevin Stine

Awesome course. Will be playing it again soon.

David Armstrong

The best in central Florida. Great greens and fairways. Always helpful staff.

Chuck Lane

Course was in good condition. Greens were tough. I attempted to call many times and didn't get through. I made reservations on line and the site was messed up. I wanted to play the Barrens and somehow ended up on Rolling Oaks.

Roy Jaeger

Still one of the best golf venues in the state, though the conditioning isn't as good as it has been in the past

Tom Twitty

The Best on North West Coast FL. Near Homoassa, Crystal River 55 min from TPA Airport via Veteran Expressway, Suncoast Parkway.

Marten Whalen

Great course. Very challenging. Huge practice areas. Mutiple putting greens, a couple of driving ranges, iron range, sand ranges. Good price to golf there. Super friendly and helpful staff! Would highly recommend!.

Tom Weiss

These are truly two of the best courses I have ever had the pleasure of playing and this place beckons the golf purist. I flat-out loved playing there as we did 36 holes same day and hit both Rolling Oaks and Pine Barrens. All of the money this place takes in must go back into the golf course care .....because everything else about the place is way less than ordinary. I will say that the people who work there are pleasant, but the buildings are shabby...bathrooms and locker rooms are like a "C" grade motel quality...kind of decrepit actually....food service is ordinary....it's simply tremendous golf and everything else is greyhound bus terminal. I can't wait to go back and play these beauties though. There....your expectations have been set.... :-)

Nelson Yarlott

If I could give World Woods two separate ratings they would be 5-Stars for the Golf Courses and the golf experience, and 1-star for the staff and the customer service. I have been to World Woods on three occasions during my visits to my mother-in-law who lives in Palm Harbor - so it is a bit of a drive to Brooksville. I keep thinking that I will give the staff another shot just because the golf courses are worth putting up with some inconveniences in order to play - the courses are both ABSOLUTELY worth every penny. I just would not expect the attitude and level of service to be so poor at such a world-class golf facility. I have been blessed to play some of the finest courses in the US, UK, Canada and Mexico, and these guys and gals are right at the very bottom when it comes to customer service. My experiences with each visit have been that the staff basically acts like they are doing you a favor by allowing you to spend your time and money with them. This may not be the case with the folks who are lucky enough to live close by and able to play there regularly, as I did see the staff pleasantly interacting with a few folks and appeared to know them fairly well - but if they don't recognize you as such... don't expect much and then you won't be disappointed. The golf is still DEFINITELY worth putting up with some low-class, low quality customer service - food and beverage quality included. My recommendation if you "ain't no local", would be to show up full, with some beverages stashed in your golf bag, go out and enjoy some amazing golf courses and then get the hell out of there as fast as you can!
