I played Odessa National for the first time yesterday. While other courses in the area are struggling to keep their grass in playable condition, this course was in terrific condition and at a very reasonable price for the quality. The layout is very playable although the 2nd and 11th hole par 5s are both VERY difficult due to strategically placed water hazards and buttonhook approaches to the greens. But I have nothing negative to say about the course design and condition since they watered the course aggressive to keep it playable. The one downside to watering is that you don't get a lot of roll-out on drives which made every hole play longer. Lot of bunkers but all were in good shape and the greens, while slower than I'd expect, rolled true and consistently from hole to hole. Staff was pleasant and efficient, although the course was quiet that day so it wasn't that busy. I will go back and add it to my rotation.

Nice greens although the tees were a little shot up. Excellent driving range and practice facility. Buy a yardage if you can, it's a difficult course if you're unfamiliar with the layout. Good value for dollar.

Never knew this was here until an invitation from a good friend. Surrounded by new developments, this is the only show in the area, so why wouldn't people who don't golf want to come here. The food is excellent.

Very nice place to play. Especially for those that need space Odessa provides plenty of it. Greens are kept up very well. Overall clean and simple to play. Not very many water hazards. I loved it!

I decided to try this golf course after seeing a few good reviews. Be sure to sign up for their email notifications of events and other news. I used a certificate they gave me for a free birthday round of golf, and I needed to pay only the cart fee. This is a challenging course with many types of holes and water is in play on some of them. I recommend that you request to be a part of a grouping that may have some experience on this course, as it is very helpful with your club selection on many holes. As with most golf courses, more directional signage is desired, but I won't let that prevent my return for more enjoyable rounds here.

Second time playing it and it is still a great course in my opinion. Finished just under 4 hours. Walking is almost impossible so expect to ride. A lot of very interesting holes and you will use every club in your bag

Head pro isn't doing a very good job. Treats his customers like second class citizens and is about as awkward as they come. If you're going to book here make sure he isn't working because it's a completely different dynamic when he's around. The employees would agree. Back Creek takes the cake for value and service without a doubt.

It has been a great course but recently there are issues. We played today and there were kids riding bikes up and down the cart paths, riding right in front of us as we were teeing off. They were drinking from the water jugs. They were riding their bikes on the greens in the bunkers. They followed us for 5 holes. They blew an air horn. To make matters worse We called the pro shop and told them. We never sawa ranger or mangement person and no one came to talk to us about it. Wish we had a better experience but we will NEVER play here again.

Very cute building. Good size rental space perfect for private events. However, the carpet needs a good professional cleaning with treatment and steam. Ceiling needs seam repair and ceiling around vents need cleaning to restore it's charm.

Nice course. Not the longest course, but challenging from the blues and well kept this year. Would be nice to have rangers out that keep play moving, but otherwise good. Pricey, but aren't they all in this area!

The clubhouse has an extremely cheap feel to it and the draft selection is minimal.... The course is superb!!! My brother and I play all over within 100 miles & this course is quality!

Really enjoy going to the clubhouse here. Haven't played the greens but they look well kept and other players speak well of the course. Always great for a couple drinks and conversation. The bar sits a little high for my liking , but the manager is great along with cool daytime bartenders. The food was good, even though many coming in grab a beer and a hotdog.

This review is ONLY for the golf course, NOT for the restaurant... I play here weekly and the course has always been in great shape, even with the weather we've been having. The part I like best is the layout. You never have to worry about getting hit with a golf ball - or hitting anyone - because all the holes continue out from the previous hole in a large "figure 8" type layout through the housing developments.
