This place was absolutely terrible every time I went. we go for my school's prom and it is wayyy over priced and not even close to worth it. The food is some of the worst meals i've ever had at a restaurant or venue, and about a third of the people there got food poisoning. Not to mention the staff were acting like a-holes for a lot of it. God awful place full of uppity people where the food is dangerously bad. Not to mention you have to order from them in order to rent the venue. The fact that my school is planning on using them again and up charging their students for a garbage experience like this is just sad.

Got married on August 11th and what an experience me and my family and friends had I would recommend this venue to everyone that can afford it the staff is unbelievable first me and my husband would like to thank Dian and Page for above and beyond to make our day a memories of a life time. I would like to say how much we love Mary her genuine care and love for my family she takes pride in what she does and go above and beyond to make sure her guest's is happening my wedding was a challenge with the storm but once you got there, she made my day and every second of the day. TOM the florets there are no words for him master bakery priceless again thanks to the staff also behind the Sean, may you guy's continue to make dream come true.

For food and desserts to have to be ordered from there if you want to rent venue it couldve been better. Salmon was bland chicken was too with a stronge taste of lemon. Mashed potatoes with bacon was not good. Cake was beautiful but disgusting both flavors. Very very dry and bland. Walmart sells better baked good offered on dessert table. Servers kept clearing tables before people could even finish their plates. Overall a beautiful venue. Did well setting up for a wedding.

Great place with amazing amenities. Presented at a conference here and was very pleased with the hospitality. The provided food was amazing and the grounds were absolutely gorgeous! Would definitely recommend for weddings and events at this wonderful venue!

This one my first visit. The ladies held a lovely fundraising luncheon for local charities. The turnout was spectacular! The event was festive and their spirit was contagious! Kudos to the event chairwoman who took the time to personally escort me to their offices. Wonder Women indeed!

I was very impressed by the clubhouse, and especially the golf course. The clubhouse was clearly built in a different era, prior to the posh excess of more recent designs. It has a bit of 60s industrial simplicity. But it has grand facades and everything is nicely appointed. Just from a different era. I really thought the golf course was terrific. A classic design, making the most of the contours of the land. Well placed bunkering (which are also very well maintained) and large, fast greens provide plenty of challenge. Like the bunkers , the rest of the course was very well maintained and playable despite the heavy play of late summer. Pace of play was also good. In summary, a great experience and a classic golf course that still provides plenty of challenge.

Participated in inter district tennis tournament. Well maintained har-tru courts. Could use awnings over benches. No shade on courts. Indoor courts were good. Boxed lunches adequate, but could have been better.

The DuPont Country Club has been in decline for some years. Memorable events are still hosted there as the recent Meals on Wheels Delaware, Meals From the Masters Brunch. The club was recently acquired by a private partnership that sounds promising for it's future.

Went here for a buddy of mines' wedding and I loved it. Amazing grounds on a state of the art golf course. The club is only a 5 to 10 minute ride from the hotel in midtown Wilmington. The food was awesome and the facilities were first class and historically significant. I would definitely think of holding an event there in the future.

The Arthritis Foundation's "Bone Bash" is the best Halloween event that I've ever attended. The food was very good and all of the staff were warm, friendly, and most helpful. The highlight of the evening was the performance by the Diamond Dancers. Witches emerged from dens of cobwebs with ghostly music to weave around the set on the dance floor to be confronted by a goblin like creature. Later, the witches danced with the audience. What a musically artistic Halloween evening, all in support of a great cause!

If you're looking to golf with a group of members who are from North Wilmington and name drop the DuPont and/or Carpenter family the entire time while they scream at the party in front of them, this is your place. I mean, I've met Ruly Carpenter several times and the guy doesn't act full of himself like people at this club. On top of that, it's not even very nice there. The driving range looks like Waltz's where I grew up in Montgomery County, PA and I think the nicest people I've met there that I wasn't golfing with were some small kids who were fishing in a pond. Sold me some balls for .25 cents a piece. Dump.
