Incredible golf course. All the staff are extremely helpful and gracious. The course is awesome! The entire course is extremely well maintained. I highly recommend this course. The staff in the restaurant are also great.

Played here with some buddies mid May. We were treated like it was a private course. The greens were fast and rolled true. Extremely challenging and it was immaculate!! Great driving range and practice area!!

Very difficult to find a nicer course than Baywood Greens. Each aspect of my round was 5/5 stars. Very well maintained course, the staff was attentive and friendly, the carts had GPS (but course also had yardages on sprinkler heads and yardage books available for purchase in the clubhouse), ranger had a lot of water for our foursome on the course, free range balls to warm-up before the round, and the course layout challenges you to hit precision shots and is a lot of fun to play. We got a drink at the bar after our round during happy hour in the clubhouse, which was nicer than some private clubs. Appetizers were excellent. I would recommend this course to everyone!

I just attended a wedding here tonight. The food is exceptional. I highly suggest their braised short ribs. They are to die for. The drinks kept on coming and all the staff were extremely polite and accomrdating. The grounds are just stunning. There are flowers blooming everywhere. Needless to say, it was one of the most beautiful places I've been to.

Nous avons joué ce terrain fin octobre, soit un peu hors saison. Tout le quatuor a été unanime, ce terrain est magnifique autant à regarder qu'à jouer. Baywood Greens Golf Course, rated 4-1/2 stars, is a championship layout that ranks with some of the best in Delaware. This tree-lined and open parkland course provides a wonderful test for your all-round game, with many attractive, skilfully crafted and challenging holes to enjoy. A must play if you are in the area.

Golfing was great.....however the restaurant was terrible. The food is grossly overpriced for the amount you get and the quality was mediocre. I had the salmon and received a sliver of meat for $26.00 and any side items were $4.00 more. Two others in my party order the chicken and received one small breast for $21.00, I believe and again, any side items were $4.00 additional.

Don't judge a book by its cover. Baywood looks spectacular but it left something to be desired. We were told that we had to stay on the cart path for 2 holes. After hole number 1 the Marshall came to tell us that we had to stay on the cart path for all 18 holes. To make matters worse, the greens had been aerated two days prior to our golf outing. The greens were in horrible shape with the plugs all over the greens. To make matter worse, we had to work around the maintenance crew rather than the other way around. Why we weren't told about the conditions of the greens when we booked is a mystery. Why the maintenance crew has no golf etiquette is a mystery. I regret we did not ask for some compensation.

A great public course that makes you feel like a VIP at a private country club from start to finish. Every aspect of this place warrants a 5 stars rating. First time playing it and will be driving the 4 hrs from NY to play it again. Lived up to my high expectations

Most visually spectacular golf course I have played. Course is so beautifully manicured and the abundance of flowers lining the tee boxes and course just takes the experience over the top. Private club for the day level of service and all else made the 3 1/2 hour drive from North Jersey totally worth it. I will absolutely, enthusiastically return!

Quality of brunch food has gone down since new management. Overcooked omelette, overcooked eggs on Benedict, NOT lump crabmeat in omelette, waitress not attentive.

Beautiful place but hole number 14 is a dumb hole. Trying to be too cute with the design. When you don't know a course and you see this stupid hole, it takes the wind out of your game. Just a silly hole

Dirty, unprofessional, overpriced, disappointed Upon arrival, our door would not open with the codes provided. It took over an hour for the staff to break into the unit. Since I could not enter my own rental, I had to use the neighboring rental which was being occupied by family members. There was BLACK MOLD all over the powder room! Does this sound like a pleasant way to start a stay? The light fixture in the master closet was hanging by wires. The air conditioning was turned to 78 degrees on a 100 degree day instead of a comfortable temperature to greet new guests. The sheets are not on the bed but instead packaged in saran wrap. Upon putting sheets on the bed, we found hair all over the mattress pad! Having the hair of other people on the area where we would be sleeping is unacceptable. The comforter that we would be covering up with was laying on top of all of the hair from someone else. This simply disgusts me. We certainly did not get what we paid for at a rate of $440 per night! They describe the experience on the website as “home and vacation all in one”. Our home is clean and well maintained, unlike these properties. Think twice about potentially owning or spending a weekend at a Baywood Greens property. The executive director, Lincoln Davis, dismissed my complaints and ignored my repeated calls. He only responded by email to thank me for my input. Unprofessional is an understatement. COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED

So disappointed in our brunch at Baywoods. Eggs Benedict with "lump" crabmeat was not good and that was not lump crab. It was claw meat and no more than a tablespoonful. Same with the omelette. Go back to the old brunch menu and fair prices. The place is so beautiful they just need to work on the menu and add more breakfast items.

This golf course is well maintained, fair and absolutely stunning. Highly recommend if you can spare the required change. The staff are extremely kind and accommodating. Complementary range balls (so get there early and warm up). Greens are quick, and smooth. It looks like they have a third nine on deck, not open though. We stopped into the restaurant after our round, enjoyed the best crab cake sandwiches I've ever had. 12/10, will definitely return.

Very nice course, good layout and very good greens. Only complaint is the Superintendent wouldn't reconsider 'cart path only' conditions. The day before we played it rained quite a bit but the drainage did it's job and the place was dry. I asked if they'd change to 90 degree later in the day and was told he NEVER does that. Too bad, they take the easy way for them and the hard way for the golfers.

Great course - rude staff What is it with Starters anyways that they think you need to kiss their ass in order to have the privilege to play the course. Forget the $100 greens fees. I'm tired of being lectured too about the rules and being bossed around. We play golf, we know the rules. How about some courtesy and appreciation for the customer.

I wish I could give this review 6 Stars instead of 5. Baywood Greens deserves it. For public golf, visiting here to play a round is almost like playing at a private country club. Yes, the course was booked most of the day on the Saturday I played, but the Ranger and Starters did an excellent job with tee times and pace of play. As far as the course and facilities, it is top notch. Each hole was well maintained and the layouts were challenging, but fun. For how much rain and hot days we had this summer, conditions were excellent for play. Greens and fairways were in perfect shape. Can't say enough of how much of a pleasure it was to play here. I would recommend to anyone visiting from out of town or local. Not too much negative to write about my experience here- from the staff, course and conditions, Baywood offers a great golf round! Can't wait to come back and play another round here. On a side note: After the round we went into the clubhouse for drinks and dinner. Couldn't of been happier there either. The staff was very attentive, the inside is like a high end restaurant with an inviting bar. Perfect for a 19th hole or a place to grab food after the round. Would recommend after playing here. Baywood offers a truly remarkable product for your golf experience.

I played BayWood Greens yesterday in the blazing heat. I can’t say enough good things about my experience playing this fabulous course. The staff ranks up at top top of courses I’ve played. Super friendly and helpful from the start and right down to our departure at the end of the round. Despite my bad play, every hole was a joy to play. It challenges your and makes you think about how you need to play almost every shot. Water and sand-traps fill your mind with thoughts on how to avoid them. It’s a visually stunning course and makes you think you are playing down south and not in Delaware. The landscaping and floral plantings abound which made me take many photos to remember my round. If you’re considering playing a round in Delaware, I would highly recommend this venue as a 1st choice to play. You won’t regret it.

Golf course is one of the nicest in the state. The club house food was good but something has change after our visit in May. The food was not as good as it was for many years and the service was just as bad. The crab cake was not worth the money and not as pictured on website. Not sure if they change management or sold restaurant to amother group. Will not be back after many years of great meals.
